Honestly I have been thrown around by many mechanics!This shop is the Best that I have found so far! They tell you what's wrong and recommend the best solution to get you back on the road and to be safe!My entire family goes here and several of our friends!Give them a call for all your mechanical issues they do alot!!

Owner fit me in immediately, and it turned out the problem was a much easier and inexpensive fix than I thought it was. This allowed me to get several other needed repairs done. Owner is an HONEST, friendly, and capable mechanic with a great crew. Service was quick and correct. There are many great reasons this place has been in business so long. Return customer. Support local!

Kinda disappointed. Had my blower motor and resistor replaced because fan stopped working. Everything works well with that. Asked to check ac for leaks and recharge. Informed me I would need a brand new condenser and compressor which would be around 1500 bucks. Took it to another mechanic that isn t even certified. Pulled pressure from the system and refilled. Fixed it for $100

I will always bring my car here. I love that I get to talk to the people who work on my car. You can just tell that they're real grease monkeys. They're reasonably priced compared to other places and very experienced. Once I brought my car there and it turned out that a connection was loose, so they did the small fix and didn't even charge me, saying that, "We really didn't do that much." I just know other places would have charged me just to look at it. They're very helpful. I was referred to TDS from a friend who owns a business in the area and has been bringing his fleet of vehicles to TDS for years.I was planning a purchase of a new "used" car and wanted an expert to give it a health check.Austin and Jake worked together and went through a whole documented check list for me, which gave me peace of mind in my buying decision.They were fast, through and the price was very reasonable.TIP: They are busy. Make an appointment as far in advance as possible. For the service I needed it was difficult to make an appointment too much in advance but Austin made it happen, which is their 6th star :)

On a move from Montana to Arkansas....our Honda Pilots alternator went out. Austin was able to get us in on very short notice and had going by the next day. Not all hero's wear capes. Thanks Austin.

Had an alternator/belt replaced same day! I do deliveries mostly for tips so these guys were financial lifesavers. Great, reasonable price in a more than reasonable timeframe. I've been taking my car here for 5 years. Terry is the only mechanic I trust in Sioux Falls. He always communicates what's wrong and requires immediate fixing but also let's you know what's cosmetic. He is very knowledgeable, and has a quick turnaround. I will never take my vehicle to another mechanic.

Very honest! Could have charged me for an alignment that wouldn't work but told me he would recommend replacing some parts before the alignment because the alignment wouldn't be a true alignment. I do a lot of my own mechanic work so he isn't getting more by telling me it needed extra work, as I will do my own repairs on the parts he recommends. I go to him for all my specialty needs or if I don't have time myself.Best mechanic in town hands down.

My husband and I were traveling thru South Dakota on our move to Arkansas and my Honda died. The alternator needed to be replaced. My husband called several places who said they couldn't get to it for several weeks. Then he called Austin and was told he would squeeze us in. Austin replaced the alternator as well as the belt (it was cracked) for a fraction of what other repair shops would have charged, and in the time frame he said he'd have it done.

had multiple problems with my car, and towed 3 times to a mechanic, finally the last time I took it to t.d.s. and presto, they found the problem and fixed it and even wrote me a note so I could fight the charge on the credit for the wrong ignition the other mechanic put on leaving my heater running and draining my battery. I think they are the best.....

Had a vehicle towed there, JUST to have it looked at to estimate repair costs. 2 weeks later, I had to call as we did not hear anything from them. Now it turns out, we owe them 500 for a repair we did not want nor did we authorize to actually have repaired. When asked about it, Terry asked "well why is it here? What do you want me to do?" As I stated BEFORE the vehicle was towed there, to have it JUST looked at, and an estimate cost of repair. They went ahead and did it anyways. Recommend getting anything they say in WRITING.

TERRIBLE SHOP, TERRIBLE OWNER, UNETHICAL, LYING, DOES WORK WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION!! TDS Auto had done a repair on the wheels of my car last April which was done fine, my vehicle was then in storage. Winter comes around this year and I find my car acting like I was driving on ice. I called in to see if he could look at it and tell me if it was in correlation to the previous repairs he had done or if it was something completely different. I waited all day with no call from him, so I did the leg work and called him. He had told me the day before he wouldnt do anything without calling first, that was a lie. He told me I owed him $150.00 for a repair I NEVER AUTHORIZED!!!! I went to go pick up my vehicle and asked him if he was willing to work out the price to $75.00 due to the miscommunication. He walked away during our conversation, took my car from the front and drove it to the back behind the gate. I asked him when he walked back in, why he did that and he said he had places to go so I can pay him or get out. I reminded him that he is a SHRINER and that my father is also a Shriner and this is not how he should be treating the child of one of his Shriner brothers, let alone any human. He is one of the most awful and disrespectful humans I have ever dealt with. I will NEVER do ANY business with him ever again! TERRIBLE SHOP, TERRIBLE OWNER, UNETHICAL, LYING, DOES WORK WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION!!!!!

They had an opening and immediately got me in, besides the time it took for the part to arrive to fix my vehicle, they were fast and courteous, and even tested my vehicle a few times to make sure there was no other underlying issues, I'm completely satisfied!! <--- another star, since Google only goes to 5, LoL

Terry and the team have always treated me very well and is by far one of the best mechanics in Sioux Falls. I highly recommend them to anyone.
