In September 2022 we were in our Chevy 3500 Roadtrek conversion van trip from Alabama to Seattle. While in Rapid City we noticed a rear wheel hub was leaking fluid, which could have resulted in a disastrous failure further along in the trip. The nice people at Royal quickly diagnosed the needed repairs, ordered the parts overnight, and made the repairs the next day. We were very, very pleased with the service we received.

They wanted to do a bunch of unneeded repairs to our vehicle in addition to an alignment. Took elsewhere and there was nothing wrong with the pickup except a simple alignment.

Had an axle on my Grand Design that was out of alignment. Called and told them when I would be in their area and would they be able to take care of my issue. I was told yes and when I could bring my trailer in. I dropped it off at that time, found out I had more the one axle out of alignment. They fixed everything in a timely manner, and at a great price. Had some issues with a older Ford 4x4 with oversized tires. Brought it into Royal Wheel Alignment, and told them my concerns. They quickly identified what was causing the issues. They told, and showed me what was going on, and how much it would cost to fix. I gave them the go ahead, and they corrected the issues quickly and effectively. The truck drives like a sports car now compared to what it was. Great shop, friendly courteous employees, and they definitely have some expierience and expertise in the alignment/suspension world. Will continue to use this place for all my alignment needs, and highly recommend them to anyone looking.

Best 35$ spent Eric helped my brother and Aunt when my family and I are traveling across country. He pulled out another vehicle to get ours in to check it out and behold this tiny thing caused so much racket. Thanks Eric

Royal has always treated me well, before and after recent the change in ownership. They have aligned a bunch of old Ford trucks for me that have TTB front suspensions that other places won't touch, and they always turn out great. Did coil overs on my 2019 Mustang GT. Did a great job used caster plates that came with aftermarket coil over kit even though it was not easy to use them to adjust alighnment. Got the specks in the sweet spot. Would recommend to all.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

We were in the hills for a vacation when we noticed our brakes grinding terribly. they did a great job with my car - needed front right suspension and wheel/rim replaced after a crash. super nice people (thanks Eric) and great with communication. got my car fixed super fast once all the parts were in, and were very understanding that I was traveling across the country. put about 430 miles on it immediately after picking it up and it s doing great.

They are highly rated by coworkers and online reviews. I'd agree. Service times can be arranged by calling or on their website. Services are completed accurately and quickly. They show and explain their diagnostic data afterward. Service rates are very fair as well. I felt the $60 charged for a 4-wheel drive alignment was great, especially when compared to the price for a new set of tires if I hadnt completed the alignment.

I was traveling cross country and had what I thought was overheated brakes. Found a brake shop online, stopped in and they inspected them and said brakes were fine but I ha a rear seal leaking. They were too backed up to do the work in a timely manner and I asked for a reputable shop that could and they recommended Royal Wheel. I took it there and they got me back on my road trip the next day. The owner kept me apprised of everything they found, which turned out to be a wheel sensor. I had to call them the next day with questions and they were courteous and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the service.

I really tried not to write this review, but even after a couple weeks I still have a really bad taste in my mouth about my experience here. I apologize for the length of the review.A year or two back, I took my truck into Royal Wheel to figure out what a clunking noise was coming from my front suspension. Royal wheel came recommended from a fellow mechanic that had dealings with them before. After they checked it out, they handed me an estimate that totaled a little over $1000 with parts and labor. They explained to me, at the time, that it needed ball joints, stabilizer links, and bushings. I had other repairs to focus on, so I figured I would get by without these repairs and deal with the noise seeing as they didn't make it seem it was unsafe to drive.Fast forward to more recent, I went ahead and bought all the parts. Normally I would let the shop install their own parts, but my truck was tuned and equipped with performance parts and I wanted the same OEM parts that came off it, to go back on. Also, on previous repairs, it was difficult for the other auto repair shops to find the right parts, which resulted in me searching and purchasing the parts for them, myself. I found an OEM dealer for the performance and stock parts in Spearfish and had them delivered here. (Just for reference the parts were from a dealership that sells these performance trucks and parts that are OEM approved, so they aren't cheap aftermarkets.) I then took them into Royal Wheel to have them installed for me.About an hour after dropping it off i get a call from Royal, in which, they informed me that all I needed replaced were my ball joints and that the other parts were unnecessary. I was a little irritated that I was told they needed to be replaced by them previously, but I had them install the other parts anyways. When I come back to pick up my truck, I read the receipt where it shows that they charged me an extra $50 or 50% an hour for supplying my own parts totaling over $1500. Which, obviously, is $500 over what was previously estimated for these repairs. Normally I would say "oh well" that's their purgative; however, they never once told me from the time I dropped it off and when they called me over the phone, that I would be charged 50% more an hour. I would have rather let the dealership I purchased the parts from install them and wait the 5 hours it took them to install if I'd known I was being charged that much extra.Between them saying I didn't need parts installed that they told me I needed previously and them not mentioning the fact that I was going to be charged 50% or $50 extra an hour for labor, I am straight up furious. Not to mention the total was $500 more than my previous estimate. Rarely have I felt like I was being screwed by an auto repair shop, but this one definitely makes me feel like I have... and bad.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I have to say that Royal Wheel and Alignment has a really efficient operation. I have been taking my trucks and vehicles to them for over 5 years. Every experience has been positive even when the circumstances weren't-accidents. I have taken my vehicles in for routine jobs and more complex jobs following accidents as well. The value for what you pay is fantastic. I will continue to do business with them not only because they do good business and provide and excellent service but because they actively get involved in our community making a positive impact.

I hit a curb rather hard and thought I had just burst a tire. After getting the tire off and the ugly donut tire on it was discovered that I had actually bent the inside of the rim. Fortunately I was able to find a previous review on Royal Wheel Alignment that said they had been able to fix someone else s rim that had done the same thing. I gave them a call and had them look at mine and they were able to fix it! I am so completely grateful for their service and will continue to recommend them to friends and family!

Quick, efficient, best pricing in town. Free wifi, TV, magazines, coffee, a seating area, and a customer bathroom. My vehicle has never driven in straighter line than after my appointment with Royal Wheel Alignment.

I had my 1998 BMW 328is in for a 4 wheel alignment. Had car set to my own specified settings and they were more than happy to work with me on getting the car where I wanted it.Overall, I was very satisfied with the shop. Typically, I do not enjoy taking my car to a shop and trusting someone I don't know to work on my car. After seeing the shop and how they operate, I would have no problem returning in the future. They work efficiently, sticking to the quoted 1 hour shop time. I experienced no hidden fees. They quoted $60 for an alignment and that is what I paid.I will definitely be returning to Royal Wheel Alignment should I need an alignment in the future.

WOW...I can't thank you and the crew enough for helping me out. I have been traveling in my 1977 Ford Coachmen motor home and experiencing front-end and brake problems. Jerry the friendly guy at Badlands Automotive in Wall, SD. referred me to you guys. Called about 10:00 AM. Get it in here. Well......I was back on the road later that afternoon. The repairs were very reasonable. Everything is working great! Thank you, thank you. Uncle Tommy.

We are from out of town and noticed our rear wheel started humming and overheating. They got us in and determined we had a stuck brake caliper. They took a few minutes to get it unstuck, greased it up, and sent us on our way at no charge. Definitely an honest and classy place to take your vehicle to. Highly recommended.

Honest and very competent team. If you have a 4x4 and it's lifted I'd take it here. Their expertise and service is top notch. Prices are fair and you pay what they tell you. I've taken many vehicles here and they have always treated me right!

They gave us an estimated time and dollar amount and they were right on. Said about 4 hrs for time and it was right on the money. Everyone very friendly and gave me ride back to house while I waited. Also offered to give me ride back to pick up vehicle. Great place.

These guys were great and very informative. The turn around time was faster than I thought it would be too. I'm more than happy with how they fixed everything and even caught something I hadn't noticed before and am grateful they did and brought it to my attention. I highly recommend these guys!

I've been going to this repair shop since 1999. Loved it!!! But, The man that ran the counter is no longer there. I don't know the situation but it's gone from fantastic to a total scam. Lady owner doesn't know anything about cars but she's got some rap. Beware. Her mechanic outright lied to me to try and make a sale. Told me greasy ball joints meant they we're bad. You grease them soooo.... It's grease you idiot. Told me a custom curved steering link for a lifted truck was bent. Said a leaking differential aftected alignment. FYI: people that are coming to you for auto repair are not as stupid as you think they are so keep your sales pitches believable. A knowledgeable owner knows you're lying. Shameless greed at work. I strongly recommend you go somewhere else. Find an honest mechanic. There are none there.

This is the only place I take my vehicles for tire roations and alignments. They people here are all every easy to work with and they rarely take more that a couple days to get any repairs done. They also do a great job of actually fixing problems when they show up.

I had an accident on our way to see MtRushmoreCalled ford they couldn t fix the front endThey said to call Royal wheel I called them explained to them what happened they said to bring the car inThey put the car on the lift and looked it over told me the alignment was way out and it will take a while to fix we had no place to go after about an hour the owner showed me what was wrong I told him to do whatever it took he said they need the car overnight and I should take his car home the tires needed to be also changed told him I neede the car safeNext day picked up the car it rides better than it ever did Moral of my of tale 800hundred miles from home I met up with the nicest crew at royal keep up the good work next time I m in rapid city lunch is on meAllen BLumenthal

Quoted me a great price on bushings and alignment and came less than the quote. Nice surprise and great people. I would recommend them !
