I highly recommend this place, and here s why. About two weeks ago, My coworker found some disgusting and degrading things keyed into my car and told me right away (I attached the image). So mature- right? Anyway, I stopped at Roy s with my grandma and wanted to see how much it would cost to have it fixed. We were told by a very nice front desk worker that we wouldn t be able to have it looked at until December 4th- and that wouldn t do because I needed my car around that time. Then she went and fetched Roy and he immediately checked out my car. He said he could get going on it right away, which was great!! That was the day before Thanksgiving.When Monday rolled around, my grandma and I decided to stop by and see how things were going (plus I needed my car for school and work soon). Roy showed us the finished product and we were just blown away at the outstanding job- my car door looked brand new! He took us to the front, and we were going to discuss prices before my grandma talked about birthdays. Roy asked when my birthday was, and I said February 9th- then he proceeded to tell me the work he had done was free of charge for us and an early birthday present to me. I couldn t help but cry right then and there- who wouldn t be happy learning such great news? I am so happy that Roy has a big heart and showed his kindness to me and my family. It is safe to say that I have shared this great news with all my coworkers, family, and friends- this story has also made a few of them cry as well. I highly recommend this place. Not only is the work amazing, but the people working here are also kind and understanding. I have attached a before and after picture.

Roy's Westside Auto body was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. We brought our car to them right before a move and they were also backed up to the point where we would've already settled in the new place by the time they were done. We were concerned the timing would leave us without a vehicle after the move and we'd have to make an unnecessary trip to go get our car when it was done.I expressed my concerns and they took it into consideration, I'm very pleased to say they were able to repair and get our car back days before our move. The car looks great, better than it did before the accident. The staff was very friendly , professional and I really appreciated the communication a long the way. Definitely give this company a call when you need repairs, top notch! If I make it back to Rapid City and ever need repairs done I will definitely be going with them again, I will also recommend them to people in the area. Thanks again Roy's Westside Auto Body!

Roy, thank you and your team for your prompt and excellent service. You ve went far and beyond any service we ve received from other auto shops in the past. Most importantly, thank you for your understanding and kindness in our unique situation by delivering the truck to us. The truck was in great shape coming out of your shop. I rarely write reviews for businesses, but Roy s Westside Auto Body deserves a lot of recognition. They do great work and will troubleshoot any concerns you may have. Chris and Joy were awesome! Joy answered the phone at 7am and was a bright and helpful voice on the other end of the phone. She promptly called me back with additional details. Chris jumped right on our vehicle when we got to the shop and got us on the road in no time flat. We were able to get on the road and continue our trip. They saved the day. They were helpful, generous and empathetic. I wish my company had the same level of customer service as Roy s. Thank you Joy and Chris (and the other lady at the front desk who was also wonderful), you made my day! This company has a great culture!

Roy s shop did an amazing job fixing up my car. I was rear ended and required a new bumper and realignment of my trunk. My car now looks brand new and it s 12 years old. They even detailed/vacuumed the interior as well. highly recommend their services Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Roy's didn't end up doing my repairs because my vehicle was declared a total loss, but the estimate process was great. Roy's was fast with the estimate, called in a timely manner, and drove me home when they learned that I had plans to get a Lyft. Roy's made sure I was able to retrieve my personal belongings from the vehicle before the insurance company took possession. (That wasn't the case with another company in the past)

I can t express my gratitude and appreciation enough for my experience this morning at Westside auto.Our truck was broken into in Rapid City, the drivers window was broken and we were in route to Montana. We called Joy and she was the most helpful person in the world. We showed up when they opened and Chris the technician was both cheerful and highly skilled. Within a half an hour we were all sealed up and ready to roll. And then they said there would be no charge. We were floored and astounded. It made our bad experience from the break-in, much more bearable, because of their kindness, generosity, service and friendliness. 10 out of 5 stars!

They were amazing. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The price was very competitive. They even got my car done early because I need to leave the country for work. Very impressed with them and they have earned a loyal customer.

I had a low beam bulb go out on my car. I called Roy's on Thursday and they got me in the very next day. I was not there 1/2 hour. They have done body work on my car when I hit an antelope a year ago. I cannot say enough good about them. Professional, kind, Accommodating and exceptional work. I recommend them to everyone I know. In my opinion you cannot do better in this town.

Roys Westside Auto Body did an amazing job repairing my van! My vehicle is wheelchair accessible and they were still able to make the repairs to get my van functioning properly. They went above and beyond with this repair and their customer service was outstanding! Always making sure to keep me updated on the repairs, costs, and estimated repair time. I have been trying to get the back license plate off my daughter's car. It was rusted on so hard the the bolts were stripping!! After trying 2 separate places, someone finally recommended Roy's. They got me in right away, ( I was a walk-in)Not only did they get the plate off, they put my new one on and got me on the road within a half hour!!Friendly people in the front, and exceptional service from the technician! I can't recommend Roy's Westside enough!!

While I cannot specifically speak to the quality of their work, I can vouch that their customer service and willing to go above and beyond is top notch. My family and I were visiting family from WA state when we had a mishap with our vehicle, and the driver side door became hyperextended,and would no longer close all of the way. I contacted them and explained our situation and would be more than happy if they could get the door to close and latch so we could make it home and I could deal with getting it repaired there. They gave me an appointment time for a couple of days later, but also told me that if I could drop it off they may get to it sooner. I dropped off our vehicle at 1 P.M. ( 2 days before my scheduled appointment) and at 3:30, they were calling to inform me that they got the door closed and it was functional. The most amazing part....? When I arrived to pick up our van they handed me the keys and I asked "What do I owe you?" They simply replied "Nothing, please have a safe trip home." Truly amazed. It is getting harder and harder to come by people this sincere these days. Thank you Roy's!!!

We have had several cars repaired by Roy's over the last 20+ years and have always received the best care and service. Our cars come back looking as good as new, and we have never had to go back to have something fixed or re-done afterwards. Customer service at Roy's Westside is top notch, from the office staff to Roy himself! We had a very unique situation with our vehicle, and in working with Roy and Brian we were able to get the vehicle looking great again!!! Simply EXCELLENT...my truck looks brand new thanks to Roy's after being side swiped by another driver...direct updates and photos of progress from Roy, smooth and painless billing through insurance and repairs finished faster than projected! Any future body work I need to have done will go to Roy's!

They have exceptional staff that are incredibly helpful. I've gone for a few minor repairs and they work so efficiently and effectively that I would not go anywhere else for those repairs. The best and kindest repair shop in the hills.

I had major damage to my Dodge Ram truck and took it to Roy's because of their five-star rating. They did not disappoint. My car was damaged when a driver behind us fell asleep at the wheel. Roy s was able to look it over right away, and get it on the schedule. The damage is no longer visible and my car looks amazing! Hands down the best customer service experience that I have ever had in the auto industry. Unfortunatley, my one of a kind pickup (for it's age) was damaged while parked from a hit and run. I was apprehensive as to whom I should take it to for repairs since the vehicle was 20 years old, and a great amount of pride had been taken to preserve it's condition. The repair work from the damage on the driver side of the cab was tone matched and restored to better condition than it was before this event. Not an easy feat to do on a 20 year old vehicle with custom trim accessories! The estimates and repairs were performed in a timely manner, and no shortcuts were taken to obtain replacement parts of the highest quality. To my pleasant surprise, updates were provided by the Owner himself! If you want to do business with friendly people who conduct themselves at the highest level of workmanship, integrity, and customer service, choose Roy's!Service: Body & Trim

Roy s repaired my rear bumper following a collision. My experience with this company was excellent from start to finish. Everyone I worked with was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous. They answered all of my questions, helped me navigate all the pieces of the repair, and kept me apprised of where they were in the repair process through emails and photos.
