Had windshield replaced in Subaru Forester. Don gave me a very good quote, in at 9 in the morning and out by 1 that afternoon. Looks great, can't tell it was ever worked on, except no more cracks. 10 out of a 10 scale. Thanks Don

Don was amazing. I caught a rock chip on my windshield on my way through the area. Don got me in the next morning. He did great work and gave excellent customer service. I saw him assist another out of towner. He could have easily taken advantage of their situation, but was honest and sent them in their way happily. I highly recommend seeing Don for your windshield needs.For Don: thanks for the suggestion to head to the Hippie Hole. The waterfall was nice, but the mud hooked on the road were even better ... adding even more layers to my paint job than you had seen in the shop. Thanks for adding to this nomads memories!

While traveling our windshield cracked across the drivers side directly in the driver's line of vision. Don, owner of Rapid Auto Glass was very knowledgeable and quick to help. The price was completely fair. We would certainly use this family owned business again if we were in the area.

Came into town on a little family getaway when a deer and I met close and personal! Don did Such an amazing job! Very professional and effective! He was able to get me in the same day and my windshield looks amazing! Cameron is another employee I spoke with and he also was very respectful, kind, and professional! They did a great job. They were very pleasant and professional. I was so surprised to see that they had removed my Easy Pass and other stickers from my old windshield and put them on the new one. It was also really handy that they had a loner car for me to use that afternoon. I would highly recommend them.

Had to get my passenger rear window replaced ASAP, and he got me in the next day! Very military friendly, and great prices! You can t beat the customer service either! Don was fantastic! My driver side window exploded on me from a rock chip on a highway the other day and he was able to accommodate me quickly. Friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Don and his shop are awesome! He has a professional attitude, and yet remains so down-to-earth that you felt like you were bringing your vehicle's over to a relative's to get work done. So friendly. Great service, great value, and accommodating when it comes to schedule. Will definitely keep in mind for all my windshield/auto glass needs.

It is rare these days to find an owner and a company who really understand the meaning of customer service, and treat you as if you really matter to them. Such was our experience with Don and his staff at Rapid Auto Glass. It is with pleasure and gratitude that I write this review of our experience there.We were on vacation, and had the unfortunate experience of a big bird smashing into our windshield while we were traveling at highway speed late at night. After several calls to auto glass repair businesses in Rapid City next morning, we ended up on Don's doorstep, not knowing what to expect.Don was very welcoming, and immediately went into action. In the process, he even caught a part number error made by a different repair shop.He arranged for the correct part to be ordered and delivered, and installed it promptly and professionally the next morning. It was quite obvious that he knew exactly what needed to be done.He graciously arranged for us to use a loaner vehicle while ours was being repaired, which was something he did not have to do. It certainly made our stay much more enjoyable, as we were able to take in some of the surrounding sights.I can only say that if you choose to do business with Don and his staff at Rapid Auto Glass, you will not be disappointed. It came as no surprise to me to see he already has several other five-star ratings from customers.

A truck kicked up a rock in the middle of our road trip and badly cracked our windshield. Based on other reviews, I gave Don a call. He fit us in immediately to check out the damage and was able to fix the crack within an hour of our arrival to get us back on the road. He s very pleasant and knowledgeable highly recommended!!!

Don was great. He really saved us in pinch. We were traveling to Oregon for a elk hunt. Our windshield was broke. We called he got us in immediately and had us on our way in less then a hour and half. He even offered us his personal car to go eat lunch. If you need any window repair or anything I highly recommend him you won't be disappointed.Service: Installation

We are traveling from Indiana to the Seattle area and were unlucky in that the South Dakota state bird decided to crash into our windshield while cruising along on I-90. The driver's side was completely shattered. Rapid City was the next big area on our map so I googled glass shops to see if anyone possibly had a windshield for my 1989 Chevy Suburban. Rapid City Glass was my first call and Don assured me he had one in stock. We were a couple hours away but made our way there and he and his employee had the new one installed and had us back on the road in good time at a reasonable cost. We were welcomed warmly and were so thankful for the way he took care of our issue.Service: Auto windshield replacement

So we were unlucky and a huge truck decided to fling a huge rock into our 2020 Chevy truck windshield leaving a humongous crack. Of course it happened on a weekend so we were unable to do anything, without spending a ton, till Monday. My wife called and Don was able to get her in same day. Not only was he nice enough to get us in right away to make sure the crack did not spread but did not over charge us at all. Once repaired he guaranteed his service and stated if it happened to keep spreading he would take off the amount we paid on a new windshield. So if you want great, fast, dependable and extremely polite service do yourself a favor and contact Rapid Auto Glass TODAY!!!! They will not screw over people for a few extra bucks. Most insurance companies don't cover windshields so Rapid Auto Glass is greatly appreciated in our current t horrible economy!!!Service: Auto windshield repair

Don saved my day! I had a situation where I needed immediate service in a short timeline, and he was able to fix me up and get me back on schedule within a couple of hours. Not only is his work flawless, but he is a kind and fair man. I would definitely go back.

Don is an amazing business man. Took care of a rear back window in my pick up right away and at a great price. Its hard to find better customer service than what Don provided me. Rapid Auto Glass is an example of how everyone should do business. Don is professional, careful, and clearly takes great pride in his work.I called Don on a Wednesday morning, as I was passing through town and he was booked solid. He didn't hesitate to refer me to another shop in town, and when they were busy too, I called Don and he agreed to fit me in same day.It's rare these days to meet a business owner who is so generous with competitors and so considerate of customers' needs. Don, however, is the consummate professional. I would recommend Rapid Auto Glass to my own grandmother, may she rest in peace.

We took a rock to the windshield as we were leaving the Grand Tetons heading for Mt. Rushmore. We checked on line for glass shops in Rapid City and Rapid Auto Glass had great reviews so we chose them.We had a great experience with Don, the owner. He lent us a mini van to go do things in town while our windshield got replaced. We were able to park our 36 foot travel trailer in the lot next to the shop while the work was done.Don treated us very well and service was done at a very fair price. We feel like we've made a new friend.

We were on vacation and got a chip in the windshield. By the time we got to a decent sized town, the chip was a large and growing crack. I read the reviews and called Don at Rapid Auto Glass. We really needed to get this fixed without too much change to out travel plans. Don checked, gave me some great advice even though it might've cost him business. I am so so glad my insurance company would work with him. Don keeps his word, does the job when he says he will, on time, and perfect. I highly recommend him for any service he offers. What a great experience! He saved our vacation and is just a really nice man.

Traveling to Rapid City from Wisconsin and had a stone hit my windshield in two places. Don couldn t have been nicer - told me to come right in and he filled the two holes so I wouldn t have to worry about it spreading as it was due to be very hot the next day. We got caught up in a hail storm while vacationing near Rapid City. Our windshield was demolished and we were not too keen on driving 500 miles home with the windshield in that condition. We called multiple glass shops in the area and Don at Rapid Auto Glass went out of his way to track down a windshield and juggle his schedule to fit us in and get us back on the road. After being ignored at Safelite for 45 mins I left and ended up at Rapid Auto Glass based on posted reviews. Boy I could not have picked a better place and wish I came here first. After receiving a stone chip during a move from PA my daughters windshield needed repaired. Don took a look and had me come back the next morning to complete the repair. He was a pleasure to talk with and assured us he could also provide her with any mechanical work she needed. Rapid Auto Glass will be her go to place. Thank you to Don and his shop for providing outstanding customer service and peace of mind. This is something that's hard to find anymore. Look no further then here for your needs. Independently owned shops are the heart of this country, and this shop is full of heart. Not only did he get us in with in hours of our window being broken out, while we were staying at a nearby hotel, he was so nice and helpful... Getting us back on the road quick. Turning a terrible experience in to a great contact if we have issues while in the area again.

Don Salway is always a pleasure to work with. He was able to find a used back window for my son s truck and installed it. Cost was reasonable and he does great work! He also repaired a chip in my trucks windshield. I appreciated that he squeezed that in before the change in temperature expected tomorrow. Some of the best customer service I have ever received in my life. Our large passenger van was the victim of some pretty severe vandalism; we only found out a few hours prior to a performance, and Don went out of his way to help us out and get the van to his shop so we wouldn't have to worry about it. He also got us the very best deal on the three large windows the vandals shattered, and had it repaired lightning fast. If you want stellar service and honest prices, Rapid Auto Glass is the place to go. (Thanks again from Stacey Potter & The Potter Family!!)

My truck was broken into while traveling up to South Dakota and we desperately needed the shattered window repaired asap. They took me in the same day I called even though they were quite busy and a few short hours later they had it repairer with matching tint! They were professional, didnt over charge me and even gave me advise on what's steps to take in repairing the rest of the damage caused by the break in. Thank you Rapid Auto Glass! I spoke with David and Don today and they were amazing in helping us learn if our cracked windshield would be safe enough to drive back home to Florida after our vacation to Mount Rushmore.
