One of the workers was sitting right outside the entrance smoking a cigarette as I was walking in. I said hi and asked how it was going and he did not respond.The guy inside was very helpful and nice and found me a couple options for the part I needed.

Fast & friendly service. Only thing is I wasn't offered an option on the price I wanted to pay for the part I needed. So, of course I was sold the most expensive one available.

I needed help with an obscure process. The staff was very patient and understanding. Not being a mechanic, they endured my lingo and helped me develop a process to resolve my problem. As Arnie said, "I'll be back"

This review is for Jeffrey alone. Never met the man before. That man is made of pure tenacity and made up of 100% motivation. He doesn t quit or give up. I was looking for my motorcycle battery all over town. For my old cafe racer. Jeffrey orders one in from Billings gets it in the next day. It wasn t the right one. He ends up going in the back digging deep for gold. He came out the back room (some time later, I don t mind, I just was in awe and appreciated that he took that time to look for something like the good old days)andy way back to it, he came out the back room with one good size diamond. The right size battery. This boys going to the hills! And Jeffrey deserves a raise and benefits and bonuses and all the good Lords blessings!Thanks brother! Appreciate you helping me out, when you could have been, well that sucks , and let me be on my way like the other 99% of Rapid did.Your devoted friend and customer from here on out.

Daughter bought a battery from a belle Fourche location. The battery was bad had it diagnosed at a mechanic shop after paying 2 tow bills and money for a new battery. Will never recommend your business to anyone EVER!!! Would give zero stars. Make bring it in for you to check when I paid a mechanic $300 to do it. HELL NO!!

I was in Rapid from out of town and needed some parts / tools for a friends car. We were lucky enough, they had the parts in stock and I was able to rent a couple tools to get the brakes and front wheel bearings / race back in.Thank you for being open as early AND as late as you were!!!

Had a breakdown heading west and this O Reilly saved the day. They had the part needed, loaner tools, and additional tools for purchase. Jackie and Mike gave a+ customer service as well - they went the extra mile to make sure my family were all good while I worked in the car in the parking lot. Could not recommend more highly.

Great customer service - knowledgeable employees were cheerful and helpful. They looked up the items I needed and retrieved them from the store while I brought in a battery for free testing and charging. Would recommend for their competitive pricing and wide selection of automotive parts.

The guys at O'Reilly's have never let me down. I get the best prices on local parts and their warranties are painless. They can even help you with certain diagnostics in the parking lot. This can be a huge time and money saver if you're not sure what is wrong with your car. Ask plenty of questions. They won't make you feel dumb... But they will make sure you get all of the parts you need to get the job done right the first time.

I went there to take advantage of a free service they offer that diagnoses what's wrong with your car in just a few minutes. The guy that helped me was very nice and answered all my questions. Plus i left there with a printout of what was wrong with my car. I highly recommend this O'Reilly location.

I like this store better than the others, they always seem to have what I need without having to wait. I'm a quality first parts guys and you can find them here. Remember good parts aren't cheap & cheap parts aren't good!

My engine light came on not knowing what was going on we were in a bit of a panic. The gentleman let me use his diagnostic reader , and found out we just needed dep for my truck. They explained that the dep Censor was probably covered and not reading things correctly . They were right once I put it in the light went off.. Thank you so much to the gentleman at o'reilly's auto parts In Rapid City.

Great guys to do business with, I was a 1000 miles from home on a family vacation when the water pump on my diesel F350 went out, they had the parts on hand and let me borrow the special tool to remove the fan. They allowed me to change it out in the parking lot with my own tools. I did buy a large catch pan, and other small items. I normally use AutoZone, but the local AutoZone wouldn't answer the phone but would only pick-up and just hang-up on me without saying a word. Doing this job myself saved me hundreds.

Went in knowing the bulb I needed, clerk told me I was wrong, assured me of his vast experience and knowledge, and sold me the wrong product. Naturally, I had to open the package to use it, so I wasn't allowed to return it.

My first problem with this oreiley store was when I brought in a red hose I had bought elsewhere for my power steering fluid, because the hose was red and unlike my other hoses, so I was concerned about it. I asked the employee with an ASE badge on his shirt whether the hose would be okay for my power steering system; he thought it would be.After I installed the hose, the power steering fluid began to bleed *through* the hose. When I asked my neighbor, who is a mechanic, he told me to take it off before it deteriorates and clogs my system(!)I try to shop at Sturdevants now, because they knew without even seeing the red hose (I mentioned it when I called to find out if they had the right hose for me.) that it wasn't going to be any good.My second problem is when I bought a hydraulic roller lifter. I told the person helping me that I was buying it to use for parts, because I lost parts on one of my original lifters. When I got home, it was an almost entirely different design; I couldn't use it for parts... When I brought it back, I was told I couldn't return it because I took it apart.. uh, I'm using it for parts-of course I took it apart! This was after it was implied that I had already installed it (he saw the oil on its outside and assumed I used it; I hadn't, the lifter was pre-loaded with oil.)

I needed a blinker bulb and my card was frozen at the moment due to banking issues I just bought two bulbs about three days earlier and they were the wrong bulbs the gentleman at the counter said don t worry about it pulled out one bulb that I needed and gave it to me at no cost this was outstanding service five stars all the way
