I had an URGENT tire repair need on a Saturday afternoon... I thought for sure I was out of luck until Monday morning. You all made the weekend a LOT easier and better!The young lady who did the work (Valerie, I believe) was so quick, and so customer friendly!

Steve the owner has always been upfront with me, if he cannot perform the work he will refer me to someone he trusts, also he does not turn me away because my car is old. and I like the the tire service with the road warranty.

My experience at this Firestone was VASTLY different from my experience at other Firestone companies in different places. Although the employee who was helping me was very kind, they were not so kind to my car. I went in to get new tires on my car because they were bald I needed tires that worked in the winter as well as the summer. They told me everything looked good on my car, but not even a day later my car was not driving correctly so I took it to another shop and it turned out the Firestone employees put the wrong weight in the rim of my tires and they did not even balance it when they were done. Cost me extra money on top of the $700 dollars I paid Firestone to fix the issue.

Customer service has always treated me very well, and they have great deals! Easy to set up appointments, and if you need help picking out tires that fit your needs/budget, they make sure you get what you need.

Previously I had an issue with firestone and left a bad review, but I wanted to change it, as the owner, a care specialist, and the store manager contacted me & are taking care of the issue. Most places don't care, but obviously they do! So thank you for caring firestone of Rapid City. Much appreciated, and I will trust my car to you in the future if need be. While on a road trip from New York, our car had an unexpected issue. The service manager Roy agreed to check it right away and ended up doing much needed maintenance work, for a fair price. Roy and his mechanic were really helpful.

On the way to CA and got flat tire on Mt. Rushmore. Hertz Road assistance direct me to this place. Just barely at the door and the guy with glasses told me take ONE WEEK just to patch a hole in my car. I have to repeat just to make sure my ears was working correctly. YES; ONE WEEK to patch one hole.I'm not local, so I don't know where to go to get help; and I have one elderly and one down syndrome as my passenger. I drove 24 miles slowly from Mt.Rushmore to get help and this is how the treat their customerONE WEEK just to patch a hole?!?!?!?!? No wonder the parking lot was empty when I arrived around 2 pm.This is the worse service I got from 21 states I've visited.Google should create lower level than 1 star. Not worth your time to call (cause they won't answer) nor visit.Oh... don't bother to reply my review with your copy-paste template! I read the other reviews.

This place is awesome, very honest, and fair place. Roy is the man super freindly super helpful gave me some good pointers, and I'm definitely going to be doing all my car care needs there. I'm going to be buying tires very soon from them and can't wait for them to install them as well. I would highly recommend them. Again, Roy was awesome to talk to and deal with

They didn't actually end up doing an alignment. After holding the car for 4 hours we went in to check on it. They gave us an estimate of $1600 for other repairs. Now I understand the tie rods needing replaced because that's part of it, but $200 for a $35 part? And then because one tire was worn, replacing all 4? They are only 6 months old. The wheel bearing is fine but because one was changed, you want to do the other one? Talk about taking advantage of a situation, we will go elsewhere for any services needed.Service: Wheel alignment

They have done a couple things for my car since Bowman's closed. When they did my oil change they found some things that needed to be repaired and called me to let me know and ask if I wanted them done that day!

If I could leave a 0 star rating I would. The manager Steve belittled me from the start. Treated me like I didn t know what I was talking about. Turns out I was right. Followed up with the mechanic Roy who consistently lied and has no clue what he was doing. Only reason I came to your shop was due to the original work order being completed in another state by Firestone so I had to. I won t be returning. Worst customer service.

Approaching to Mt. Rushmore all the way from Ohio, we found the air pressure was down on two tires out of four, adding air time to time, worrying many possibilities.This location is the only one in Rapid city and we visited for care of our 3 year old 4 firestone tires under warrantySteve checked and processed to replace the two tires by road hazard protection with nominal fee.Found out he was the manager, my husband and I appreciate so much! He saved our anniversary trip.The mechanic was also excellent fixing fast and accurate so we drove back safely after the tour.Great work and excellent job!

Came for an 11 an appt, the guy didn t have any idea what it was for and was also told that they couldn t do an alignment, which was one of the reasons for the appointment. Checked on the status around 2:15 and was told it was up in the air being worked on. Went at 3:30 to see if I could pick it up soon and the car had been untouched.

Would recommend!I really do enjoy this repair shop... perfect spot next to downtown Rapid City. I usually drop off the car and get some food while enjoying the quaint locale.Service is great and I trust it. Have done car inspections, oil changes, and tire care here and no complaints. Customer service is great as well, they'll answer the phone, and call you with scheduling (as needed).

I have my vehicle serviced here and Roy and Steve have always been straight with us. The store has a great group of employees. We have bought all our tires through Firestone and receive great service all the time. Unlike some of the responses, if I walk in or drop something off without an appointment I expect to wait until they have an opening. They really go out of their way to please all their customers.

Here on vacation from Iowa, found a screw in the tire on the truck we towed our camper up with. Stopped in at about 930 on a Sunday morning, they only had one guy working in the shop that day. I was told he would be able to get to me after 2. Obviously being on vacation with the family this was a long wait. The guy saw the issue and recommended a place that could get me in soon. The employees here are awesome, and if I can give anything back to them it is this. They are CUSTOMER FIRST kind of people!

On our way to Bismarck from Colorado something punctured our tire outside of New Castle, Wyoming. Being a Sunday very few places were open so we decided to go to Rapid City. The technician was able to get us in at 1:30 even though they were swamped. And the technician was very knowledgeable about helping us find the right kind of tires for our Subaru. Roy was awesome. He got my car in and out in a little over 24 hours which included ordering a part, waiting for it, and a 5 hour job when it got there. Every other shop in town told me 10 days to 2 weeks.

Placed order for tires on Saturday along with appointment for Tuesday at 930am spoke with a representative from the store on Saturday about the appointment drove 60 miles one way on Tuesday for appointment got there on time they took the rig in and called me about 30 minutes later to tell me they only had two tires and would not have the others till tomorrow. I told them you mean I spent 3 hours and 120 miles for nothing and would have to do it again tomorrow. They did give me 20.00 off which did not even cover my gas. Very very disappointing to say the least. No responsibility for not having the tires even though they set the appointment as well as the website saying they had the tires in stock. This is very poor customer serviceUpdate on 1-11 the rapid city store contacted me and made right on the lost mileage for having to make two trips to get tires. This still leaves the problem with the corporate website providing bad information on the tires being in stocks or not. This is not a problem with the local store but is at the national level

What great service. Our engine light came on late in the afternoon and we barely made it into Firestone before closing time. Peggy helped us out by getting a code scan done for us, all for free. We got the information we needed to resume our vacation without worry. Peggy and the mechanic were very friendly and helpful, we will certainly use Firestone again.

After going to two other Firestones on military installations and getting hosed continually (why did we use them still convenience and the Firestone card) we didn't have a lot of faith going to this shop. However, from the get go all folks that I've dealt with have been great! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They give two shakes about how well your vehicle is doing and don't try to take advantage of you (I'm a woman). We have some good shops in town that I have had to use in a timing pinch but I'd rather drive the 55 miles to go here!
