22 chevy broke down 28k miles, Said can't look at for atleast a week. No loaner available. 70k truck and broke down 500 miles from home. Chevy needs to do better.

Alex Gross in service was great. The only one to greet you after he finished with his client. Once service was complete he throughly went through the service and what would be needed next and when. Thumbs down to the rest of the staff just staring at their screens occasionally looking up at you. Cadillac customer service was not as it should be with exception to Alex. I've had my car at 2 other Cadillac dealerships, Spearfish and Minneapolis. Both were outstanding. Do better.

Make the drive to Spearfish! Staff here isn t very attentive and is very disorganized. Seemed to really only matter to them after the service was completed and they needed me to pay.When entering no one seemed to pay attention to me took a long while to get helped while they just worked on other projects. And a few were just having water cooler conversations. Then they couldn t find the appointment I made and kept talking to the other 4 people there trying to figure out what I was there for. Finally a guy came out from the back and remembered talking to me but couldn t seem to find the appointment. After all that I finally was able to get checked in. Service wasn t fast, friendly or really even kind. Seemed like everyone in that department hated being there.When I picked up my vehicle that had completed everything and ever caught a problem early on! The service tech doing the work seemed to be great!When picking up the vehicle, service from the office people was again much of the same. No one could find my keys or the paperwork, keys and pages were just laying everywhere. The staff again wasn t very kind and no one seemed to care. Finally when they got my paperwork found and started talking to me they were finally friendly. I m guessing because it was a fleet vehicle with GM and had a large service price tag. But then they cared and wanted to talk.Honestly, about the worst service team I have interacted with at a service center. I highly recommend going to their sister store Honda! Much better service and are able to get you the same things for GM vehicles if it s a simple fix! Or better yet drive to Spearfish for way better service and staff that really cares to see what you need!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

I waited two hours for oil change, granted I was about 20 mins early. The also replaced a windshield wiper and air filter. They charge for air filter was $49, looking at charge the air filter was $25 and they charged me an extra $24 for putting it in when they were already changing all the things!!!! I paid $180 for an oil change!! Only to turn the air on and they messed something up in the blower motor where I get to go back and have them figure that out. The front desk guy in service is super nice. Not Craig/Greg but other guy.

Our car was towed to Denny Menholt Chevrolet on a Sunday afternoon. Monday morning we were told there would be an approximate two week wait. My car was fixed and in my garage less than a week after they received it. Other service stations. We talk to also had a two week wait and I fully believe it would ve been three weeks before I have my car had me taken anywhere else. Thank you Danny Menholt for your courteous and prompt service!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

I do not recommend their service department. I originally bought my car from them and had a great experience. The first few years of service was great. However, the last few years has been horrible service. They would have my car days, give it back and the issue would not be fixed. They would ignore/not return my phone calls. This time they kept my car over 24 hours for a simple oil change. I will not use their service again and I do not recommend them.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

We were on our way to the Black Hills in SD when our truck died. We had it towed to Denny Menholdt Chevrolet. They told us they didn t know when they could get to it because they were very very busy. They arranged to have a rental car waiting for us and also gave us a ride to the car rental place. The only rental they had was 179.00 dollars a day. Yikes!! I called Greg back in service at Denny Menholdt Chevrolet and asked him if there was anything he could do to expedite our repair it would be greatly appreciated because we were spending 179 a day on a car. He said he couldn t promise anything but ,the very next day I get a call from him late in the afternoon telling me the truck was ready for pickup. I not only had just one day of rental car charges but the repair was pretty much the exact dollar amount they had quoted me. These guys are absolutely awesome!!! I m not from the area but the next time I m ready for a new vehicle I might just have to come back to try and return the favor. I had an appointment for an oil change but they found a nail in one tire near the sidewall that could not be plugged. Since all four tires were nearly worn out I decided that all four tires should be replaced. They had what I needed in stock and I was able to get that done while I was there. I was particularly pleased because we are halfway through a four month trip without out causing any delays to our schedule.Services: Tires, Oil change

We were on vacation 3 states away when our camper towing vehicle broke a CV joint. Getting the part would take 2 weeks and scheduling the service even longer. We didn't have that time. So, we stopped in at Denny Menholt's Rapid Chevrolet to look at a 2019 Tahoe on the lot. Eric was very helpful in showing us the vehicle and then carrying us through the sale. Joe helped us with the paperwork and we drove away. We felt no pressure to buy. The guys were very patient with us as this was an unexpected, urgent issue for us. We felt welcome. They were very friendly and accommodating. I would certainly recommend Denny Menholt Rapid Chevrolet to anyone interested in buying a car.

Will S.was a GREAT salesman, he wasn't pushing. He showed use the cars in our price range and the features that we wanted. When we bought the car he explained and showed us how to use the features. I would recommend him to everyone who is interested in buying a automobile. He is the BEST salesman you will ever find.

Tim was great and took his time writing everything down that I told him what was going with my car. When he called me, he took his time explaining what the options were moving forward. All employees were very friendly. They went out of their way to check more than my oil and tires, notified me of some leaks I have and bad break pads. They got things done quickly too. Don't even hesitate to use this dealer THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!!!! Especially TIM in service. He updated me every step of the way and was very very professional and yet kind at the same time. My daughter's were driving from Wisconsin to Montana. When they got off the road in souix falls, the heard some rubbing noise. They drove to your place 30 minutes before you closed on a Saturday. Your staff was wonderful. They diagnosed the problem being a bad hub and stayed after hours to fix it for them. Your team deserves a lot of credit. Most people would not have done that. Thank you so much for being customer oriented.

Chris, my service advisor, gave me exceptional service during the oil change and tire rotation service performed on my 2004 Avalanche on April 20, 2023. Tim Howard helped us when we were going thru town. Our truck had a faulty actuator that made the 4WD stuck. We would not be able to resume our 2000-mile trip on 4WD. Thankfully Tim and the team helped us, and after two hours, we were back on the road. We highly recommend them!

Always recommend rapid chevy, Chris is always amazing in service. Barry Lafluer is the best, he awesome and my go to salesman time and time again, Pat D. has always been genuine, honest, goes above and beyond. Chad is honest always looking for the best fiance option to get into the vehicle I want. Thank you to the amazing team years, after years from the old location to new location. From my grandparents to my parents to me and to my son. We will always keep going back to rapid Chevy.

Tiffany was great to work with. Unfortunately they were unable to find what caused the check engine light on my 2024 Silverado with only 800 miles on it so they cleared the computer and gave it back to me. When we arrived in Keystone from Fargo our car had engine and transmission problem. Road side assitance towed our car to Rapid City. After an hour Tiffany M. called us regarding the update of the car. Overall, they were very accomodating even though it is a very short notice they were able to fix our car.
