Brought my Forester in for a check engine light. The service fellas had the part I needed and said they'd try to have it done by the end of the day. It took a few extra minutes, but they stayed and finished my car on a Saturday so I didn't have to wait and come back Monday. I would recommend this service center and I'll be back to Courtesy Subaru next time I get the chance. Very pleased!

Well on vacation, my husband and I had an issue with our Subaru. The eyesight and engine lights came on. We are from Illinois. We were on vacation in South Dakota. We called courtesy Subaru spoke with Travis. He was very helpful and said bring it in, we'll take a look at it. When we arrived, his staff and himself were very Polite and understanding took our car in right away and looked at it. In less than 30 minutes they were letting us know what was wrong. They got it right in fixed it and we were on our.Vacation once again. Now, that's customer service.

The team at Courtesy was fantastic. Jason was great to work with and super friendly. He gave information but not in a pushy manner or just trying to make a sale. I asked, and he provided and then gave me ample time to think. One thing that stuck out was we conducted most of our communication via text. This was honestly one of the main reasons I took my car home when I did. I had time to think when he gave me information, and since I was busy, I could still complete the rest of my day. Lance was also great to work with. He walked me through all the paperwork and ensured I understood everything before signing anything. Honestly, I was nervous about going to a dealership, but this was the easiest experience I have had with car shopping.

Out of all the dealerships I visited, Courtesy was the most informative, less pressured of all and talked with me, not at me. Perhaps it was the personalities, mutual respect and exchange of ideas. I am disabled. Getting in and out of a vehicle can be a dreadful task. The salesmen allowed me to try every vehicle to see what was easiest. They listened, they took the time to find the right fit. Also being able to talk about the mechanical and technological aspects of the vehicles helped so I could make the right decision on the right vehicle.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, and felt compelled to share my exceptional experience. Scott Roberts, the sales manager, demonstrated an unparalleled level of attentiveness and personalized service that truly set this dealership apart from any other. What impressed me was the way Scott seamlessly tailored the entire process to suit my preferences and needs. He exhibited a keen understanding of what I was looking for in a vehicle and took the time to make sure everything perfectly aligned with my lifestyle, ensuring that I had everything I needed to safely drive on the roads again after just getting into a severe car wreck. He is one of the main reasons why I won't buy from any other dealership. My salesman, Tim Smith, had a genuine interest in ensuring my satisfaction and went above and beyond to make the entire car-buying experience seamless and enjoyable. After purchasing my vehicle he went out of his way to reach out and see how I was doing with my Subaru. The service department is always very kind and attentive when I come in, and even wash my car for free with any service I receive from them.I also want to thank Jerad Stone, the finance manager, for the time he took to ensure I fully understood the terms and conditions, and his dedication to finding the best financing solution for my needs.Ya'll rock!

Bought a new suv today. Tim was a great salesman and Lance was very helpful with the financing piece. Tim took the time to explain everything from A to Z about the suv and I never felt pressured to buy immediately. I usually hate car dealers and the high pressure sales bull from other dealers in town but this was a totally awesome experience. Very polite, very professional. First Subaru and won t be the last one!

Paid $120 for an Oil Change, Tire Rotation, Routine Checks, Etc. Did this in October and January, and both times the Tire Pressures were not checked were not correct. Called after the October appointment and brought it to their attention and was assured it would not happen again - but it did. I'm done....

I seriously love Subaru. The cars are so well built and their customer service is top notch. Matt in the service department handled my situation and I couldn't say nicer things about him. Good job Courtesy Subaru!

I've been consistently satisfied with my experiences with the service department. They've been diligent in identifying issues covered by the warranty that I hadn't noticed, and addressing those within my warranty timeline. Most recently, I procrastinated on getting an oil change until right before a road trip and they were able to squeeze me in for service in spite of having a busy day scheduled. Duane has been especially helpful and knowledgeable and explains things patiently in a way I can understand.

EDIT: Followed up on their reply below and spoke to the manager, Travis. He acknowledged my thoughts on the vehicle, where things went wrong in the service and refunded for the extra work done. People aren't going to be perfect, but credit where credit is due, the best you can do is try to make good where you can.Where to begin... I brought my car in on March 1st for a simple oil change and asked them to also take a look at the brakes in particular as they have a "complimentary" multipoint inspection listed on their website. Car is done, they give me the low down on my rotors and that there is one small rust ring on back of one of the rotors. But - they charged me an extra $50 for the "brake inspection" on top of the multipoint vehicle inspection. If it's part of the multi-point, why charge differently? Benefit of the doubt, maybe the tech took an extra 20 minutes really inspecting, so paid, no problem.Four days later, we hear a grinding noise from the front left of the vehicle. I call in, they say they can have a lube tech look at it today and make sure everything is torqued right etc. (I've had an issue where the wheel isn't torqued right in the past, so this seems like a great plan). I get the car in by 3p and Braeden tells me "doesn't sound like it's a torque issue" without EVEN LOOKING at the vehicle in any way and that I need to set an appt. Annoying that it was one answer on the phone and then completely different in person. Wish I hadn't wasted my time driving in.Bring the car in on Friday and I give them the full low down - what has happened in the past, that the LF axle is aftermarket replaced by a Subaru dealership last summer. NONE of this goes into the description delivered to the tech. Per notes back on my service order, they inspect it on the hoist - took off the tires, inspected brakes and put them back on - and then they "couldn't recreate the sound." Because they took the tires off, this means they also retorqued them, which could have fixed the problem. Braeden tells me they can't recreate the sound but I could fix a ball joint that's kind of loose, but may or may not be causing the issue for another $400. I show Braeden a video of the sound from the morning (which he was not interested in when I told him I had the video at vehicle drop off), to which he responds they "weren't driving it like that". The video is of the car going 22mph over a manhole cover on a neighborhood road. It's not some offroad hootenanny. I ask to drive it with the tech to see if I can recreate the sound. It's completely gone - likely because things were put back correctly this time. They charged me $171.25 for basically just doing what they told me they'd do for free on Wednesday - make sure things were put back on correctly.

I live in the southeast but am originally from the Rapid area. I have a 2021 Outback. I have been temporarily in the area here for a few weeks. I had a nail in my tire the other week and received almost instantaneous service from a great employee. Next, I was checking my oil because I am about to make the 1500 mile trip back home, and noticed my drive belt had a bad spot. It s Saturday, and I was stressed that I d have to wait extra days for a belt. Fortunately, there was a belt in stock! I was in and out in under an hour! The nail in the tire was like 10 minutes. I am so impressed. The Subaru dealer where I am from needs to take notes! I would have been waiting for HOURS at my Subaru dealer back home. Anytime I have to visit that dealer, it s stressful, bad communication, and too often, apathetic employees. The guys I dealt with at Courtesy were fantastic. I tried to tip them, but they refused. I wish I would have gotten their names to mention them. They deserve raises. I thank God for you. Edit - it s hard to read, but on my paperwork it looks like the man who helped me today is named Jason Shearer.

I worked with Jason at Courtesy Subaru recently, when purchasing a new vehicle. I d highly recommend going to Jason if you re in the market for a new vehicle. He was very helpful. Lance in finance was also very helpful and pleasant to work with. Overall, a very good car-buying experience, for me, at Courtesy Subaru.

Great people, amazing service and incredible vehicles. Brandon and Lance were absolutely wonderful. Brandon helped us tremendously in many ways, seriously recommending the sales the service the atmosphere and their love for dogs! Got the coolest Subaru outback wilderness on the road thanks to Brandon who was not only knowledgeable but a cool guy! Will definitely go there for my next vehicle, can't beat these guys!

DCM on my 2019 Outback was causing a current drain that would kill the battery within a week. Car is out of warranty, but since this is a known issue, they are goodwilling it. OK, you have my business now.

Never going here again. Charged me $611 to change a coilpack and Spark plug in ONE CYLINDER. I had a misfire in cylinder 6 in my 2015 ouyback, changed all my spark plugs myself, and I couldn't torque cylinder six's plug down, couldn't reach it for the life of me. That's what I asked them to do. Turns out the coilpack for 6 was bad. They replaced it the Spark plug and coilpack. I don't know how long they stood there and let it idle to see if it would misfire again. They took their sweet time. At $150 an hour for service, I'm sure this wasn't on accident.

Having moved from the Northeast I needed to find a quality Subaru dealership for routine maintenance and more. I stopped by once, and after that, I knew this was where I would be coming for the duration. More recently, I scheduled my first major service job and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Professional, clean, and accommodating. Great selection of Subaru's and outdoor gear for the car and self (shirts, hats, gadgets, and the usual bigger items for racks etc.) And yes, free Starbucks and Snacks!!!

Joel was awesome from start to finish! Very helpful, informative, transparent, communicative, and just overall a welcoming personality that made the process that much easier. I also loved how they only run credit for a few banks vs multiple, didn t have that type of experience anywhere else in Rapid City for dealerships. Their prices on cars and other fees for buying are pretty low compared to their competitors I had experiences with, which is always a great thing to be paying less than needed. 10/10 recommend Courtesy Subaru for your car shopping needs!

I brought my Subaru Forrester in last summer because there was water leaking on the passenger side floorboard. The technician could not identify anything wrong with my vehicle.I brought it in again this month for an oil change and asked for someone to again look at the same water leaking issue. I was told there was a broken cowl that was allowing water into my vehicle. In addition, the blower motor was now wet and would need to be replaced because the electrical component would eventually corrode. I was told everything would cost around $1200 dollars. I paid $300 for an oil change and for them to tell me about these problems. Today I took my car to another mechanic and was told that the problem my AC evaporator drain tube. I paid $250, a thousand dollars less than Courtesy Subaru wanted to fix my vehicle.I am so frustrated and disappointed by the service I received at Courtesy Subaru. I will no longer be servicing my vehicle there.

Purchased a used vehicle as is no warranty from here and had issues a few days later. Spoke with Travis in the service department they attempted to fix the issue but had no success so they brought the car to a different place who specializes in this type of vehicle. Meanwhile I was given a very nice loaner to drive while my car was being fixed over a large span of time. Subaru paid for the repair and was extremely accommodating without a doubt would do business with again.

Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and a door weather strip was falling off. As always, Courtesy Subaru always does a great job! Everything was addressed and they brought my filters out to show me they were in need of replacing, where most places just tell you that it needs to be done, they prove to you it needs to be done. Their waiting area is equipped with coffee, tea and snacks and multiple types of seating which are always a little too comfortable! They always put my car through the wash, while it doesn t get everything, it gets the big stuff and I appreciate the gesture!

I've been a Courtesy Subaru customer for a long time and several cars. The service department is excellent and takes quick care of whatever I need. Sometimes, without an appointment. The whole business is full of friendly, professional folks who will take excellent care of your car. MB

Updating a previous review because Travis, the general manager righted the wrong very promptly. 4 stars because I can't recommend the service department, but overall, there are some great people at this dealership. Carol Friend was an awesome salesperson to work with!

My experience at this dealership from start to finish was fantastic! I worked with Kyle as my salesman and even after I took care of payment and I was good to go, he still took close to an hour to go over every aspect of my vehicle with me, answered any questions, and made me feel very valued and secure in my purchase. He even helped me return the rental I was in. Cami in finance was equally kind and accommodating. I very much enjoyed working with both of them. The entire process was very simple, easy, and welcoming. Thanks so much, guys!
