Claimed way to bizy to assist me in an urgent yet simple repair situation. Not impressed at all! I do not plan on even bother to contact or utilize them in the future. All shops understand the issues with winter and cold month problems, staff accordingly!

Mel and Melvin did an excellent job with the timing of our situation. Being stranded with a RV is always challenging on long trips. Thankfully these great guys and gal got us in, found our problem and spent the time to fix it right. Thank you

We were passing through with our RV and had an issue with the fuel system. They got us in with less than 24 hours notice and got us back on the road quickly and did not gouge us on the repair costs. Tim our tech was a wealth of knowledge our Cat C7 Engine in our Diesel Pusher motorhome. We were very thankful for great service and a quick repair.

I had a pretty good experience at this Boss Repair Shop. My radiator went out and I had to get a new one! The manager, Melvin, got me seen to quickly though.

These guys were great. I would highly recommend them they were very helpful and allow me to leave the RV there while parts for shipped in. They were very knowledgeable and was able to guess the issue before they even look at it.

10 out of 10.I had an oil change on my RV with a Cummins ISB. I called a week ahead to ask if they could do the service and they said they could. They said that they didn't have the filter in stock since that's not a common engine they work on which was fine since I already had one.I was told they do not take appointments; its first come first served and sometimes they stop taking new vehicles around noon due to how busy they are.I showed up 15 minutes after they opened and was the first one in the shop. It took 45 minutes for the oil and filter change as well as a chassis lube.Caye at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The tech Collin was great, and made sure to get all of the grease fittings and answered some questions I had.If youre passing through, or staying near Rapid City, I highly recommend coming here for service.

They tell me you have to wait 20mins , de facto im waited more than 1hour. They repair my tire, but if this bad repair, ill change my review to 1 star.

Not bad, .... expensive, but aren't they all? I blew a wheel seal on easter Sunday at nearly 5pm. Had them do brakes on rear drive axle, put on a used tire, and I bought some airlines. Everything in Stock, fast, and good work. That's all a guy can ask. I own a mack, so it's pretty rare ANYBODY has parts for my truck. I'll use these guys again.

These folks have bailed me out several times...good people and prices are way better than a road service guy trying to break it off in me on a used tire!!!

We are presently traveling in our truck and 5th wheel. We had an incident which could have been quite dangerous and most certainly extremely inconvenient. Teresa at Boss Shop was so pleasant and accommodating and was able to schedule our repairs early the next morning. We arrived and the repairs were immediately undertaken by Rick. He too, was very customer oriented and made sure our needs were met and the repairs were done promptly and accurately. In today's world, being fortunate enough to find people like these two is very rare, and we sincerely appreciate their excellent customer service and quality of work. We couldn't recommend a business more highly. Thank you Teresa and Rick.Service: Brakes

My obd II told me that gas exhaust sensor 2 needed replaced in my F250. I called and asked Boss shop if they could fix it, they said yes. We were charged $500 for the part, $115 for an hour of labor plus tax on 8/14/2020. The check engine light came right back on after they cleared it, when we asked the mechanic he said Ford would have to clear it because it's a stored code. When I asked the front desk about the $500 cost for the part I was told it cost $80 for shipping and the remainder for the part, the bill was not itemized to show that charge. I couldn't get an appointment for diagnosis at a different shop until 8/31, that diesel shop told me that Boss had replaced sensor 4, not sensor 2, that's why the check engine light wouldn't go off. They charged me $47 for the part and fixed it. I called to speak to the manager, Cory, and was told he would return my call because he was on the phone. I explained that I wanted a call back the same day, not days later because this issue was concerning work already performed. I left my name and number and he has not called. I welcome a return call from management, you have my number.UPDATE 11/8/20: I'm pleased to say we won the dispute we filed with the cc company concerning this issue. The manager never returned my call.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Total vacation-savers! After an 8-hour drive, with an hour to go, a tire on our van wouldn't hold air. It was 9:00 on a Wednesday night - we were sick of the car and ready to be at our cabin. The team at Boss patched our tire in less than a half hour and got us back on the road no problem. Very grateful to them!

Thanks to our Good Sam Roadside Assistance policy, they connected us with Boss Truck Shop in Rapid City when our diesel filter fouled on a steep grade/curve between Keystone and Hermosa, SD. A call to Boss's for best route helped us 'limp' our truck/travel trailer into a line for work. Granted our trouble started in the morning and we finally got in at 7:15 PM, but the shop called to have a filter waiting for us to avoid further delays. We were back on the road in 1 hr. Thanks to Melvin and Cassey! Very pleased with our rescue.

Had new crate motor in a f350. Pulled in for oil change at 800 miles. Was charged $350. They replaced a fuel filter without asking me, charged $120. It was a NEW filter I explained beforehand. Was told " that's part of our checklist. Here's the kicker: during the process the technician climbed on top of my engine(probably to get at the filter or something) and BROKE the intercooler piping. Causing huge boost leak. Also the inspection was performed, apparently just pencilwhipped in the form, there were 3 or 4 things marked ok on yhr form that I'm positive have some issue. Now on day 3 waiting to get back into there and get some answers.Service: Oil change

Don't even bother calling the posted number, it goes to a call center in Nebraska or something. Need to talk to a mechanic? Too bad, you get to talk to a call center rep who likely has never touched a truck in their lives. They want to charge an hourly shop fee without even knowing if they can address the issue (because you're not allowed to talk to a mechanic.)Also, allegedly open until 9pm but was closed by 3pm just because they felt like going home early apparently, or so I was told.

We had two tires on our camper trailer blow out in one day. After a fiasco trying to get towed to Boss Shop, they were able to get us two new tires quickly and at a reasonable cost. We wanted to get all of our replaced, but they only had two tires in stock, so we came back a few days later to get the other tires replaced and had a similar experience. They were easy to work with and we were happy to give them the business for our other tires.

Had a brake emergency in our RV. Called multiple places no one could get us in but them. Turned out to be a wonderful place...fit us in, fixed our problem, and at a reasonable price! Loren in the shop was awesome! Would recommend to anyone traveling needing a repair.

We called Boss shop when our truck wouldn t start while we were passing through the area. They came out the same day and did the repair. I d say their pricing was fair given the convenience of having a mobile mechanic. They were up front about their rates and provided friendly service. Thank you!

The guys at the service center were awesome! They were open late on a Friday and were happy to help us when we had a problem with our RV. They also allow overnight parking so we had a place to stay after the problem was fixed.

Derek was fantastic at helping me out with wiring issues on my rgn trailer. Tried explaining to the management the problem I was having. Just wanted to argue, explained it to Derek, he understood perfectly what I needed. He took care of me in under 30 minutes. THANKS AGAIN DEREK!!!

The service is very bad. I called them, and when I talked to them they told me that they will notify me once they send someone out. I waited a minimum of 3 hours, for that time I fixed the truck and called them to tell them not to send anyone, because I didn't receive a call and I thought they still didn't send anyone. They told me that they sent him an hour ago and he was halfway there. In conclusion, they didn't notify me as promised and they didn't fix my truck and I still had to pay $200, just for them driving out.

Blew a tire on my trailer at 10 at night, got told I have to wait until after hours to call, so I waited and called again just to get told the technician on duty is not qualified to change a tire what a joke. Guess I m taking a 34 hour reset on the side of the i90 with no food or drink with my 4 ways on. Thanks boss!

Very helpful - had a tire blowout on Sunday, Labor Day weekend, and they worked with us to get it all taken care of - including a ride in their personal vehicle to pickup another tire nearby. Thanks to the team here!
