Outstanding service! These folks are so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, I cannot say enough! My vehicle was taken into the shop right on time and they didn't waste any time getting the work done. I had new rear shocks installed and also had a rear brake job done too. These people are very fair with their prices and explain what needs attention, with no pressure to the consumer. Their price quotes were right on...no surprise costs. I highly recommend that you check them out when you're in need of auto repairs!

Rick and his guys have always been great to work with. Honest and fair with their rates. They ve also stood behind their work when necessary. They re my first call if I have vehicle issues. If it s not in their wheelhouse they ve told me do and pointed me in the right direction.

My family and I were traveling through from Ohio when the cooling system went out and we were stranded along the road. We called several other businesses in the area but all said that they couldn't get us in for several weeks. We then called Rick and the guys at Black Hills Truck Shop. They got us right in and let us park our camper in their lot.The guys were very compasonate to my family as we delt with the disappointment of a runined vacation. Furthermore they expertly diagnosed the problem and made the repairs. I wish we could bring Rick and his crew to Ohio so I could take all my vehicles to him.

I never write reviews, in fact this is the first review I've ever written, but I feel it necessary because of my experience at this shop. I was traveling cross country and had an issue with my vehicle. I spent eight days at another shop, and unfortunately they could not fix the issue. I had my vehicle taken to Black Hills Tuck Shop and they quickly diagnosed a fuel system/pump issue that a previous owner had tried to resolve and made a mess of things... Rick and Dave were nothing but professional and friendly and had us back on the road. They went the extra mile and stayed late to assure we could be back on the road in no time. I cannot thank them enough and cannot recommend them more highly... I wish I could give them more stars.

Black Hills Truck was great. They diagnosed and fixed my car's oil leak at a fraction of the price it would have cost at a dealership. Plus the staff was friendly, reliable, and very professional. I'm definitely going back there next time I need vehicle repairs.

Rick has done outstanding work to my pickup truck and Runs a professional and honest business. I would recommend this company to everyone. I won t take my vehicles anywhere else. Rick went above and beyond with his service for me and my family and we are forever great full. Thank you Rick and your team for all your help you guys are outstanding!!!!

This is one of the best shops I have ever been to. The owner Rick personally attended to our needs and helped us to an amazing resolution! If you are in need of an honest and professional garage this is one to go to. I am very mechanically capable to fix most of my issues but I was out of state and they treated me and my wife in an amazing way!!!

BHTS was amazing and very helpful.On our family vacation our 2003 F250 6 L rear differential and center bearing went out. We stopped at the local delarship and they wouldn't even look at our vehicle for over a week. BHTS saw us immediately, made a diagnosis, and gave us a time and cost estimate. They then kept us informed and did all they could to keep us on our schedule and repaired safely.Petra was instrumental in helping us obtain a rental car so we could see the sites while they were busy working. Rick stayed late once our parts came in to make sure he helped us and stick to his commitment.Thank you! A true American shop and service.

I heard about this shop from word of mouth. I had a tune-up done last Friday and my vehicle started to lurch while driving. I took it back to them and since they were closing, the technician advised me to bring my vehicle back today. I brought it back right after they opened up and the technician started to work on right away. One of the spark plugs was cracked on both sides and that was causing my vehicle to lurch. He put another one in, took a test drive and reset the diagnostics. Now it runs real good, just like when I first bought my vehicle.My late older brother Lester and my late husband were both ASE certified automotive technicians and it's really hard to find honest automotive technicians to work on my vehicles.I highly recommend this shop and I will be coming back when my vehicle needs to be serviced.

Best shop in the area...in fact it is the best experience I have ever had with mechanic shops! I have been going to them for about 2 years now. Very honest and caring and fair pricing. Great guys!

Traveling through 12 states and spending a few days during SD's heat wave, Black Hills Truck Shop saved the day. My Nitro A/C failed a few miles from Rapid City. After making a few calls, BHTS was recommended. All other A/C shops were full with A/C work on other vehicles. I called them before arriving. They were expecting us when we arrived. We were greated promptly and courtesly. Service personnel quickly diagnosed a failed compressor. Since we had just arrived, I asked them to find me an engine serpentine belt to bypass the A/C compressor. They found one and installed it right away. We were able to reach our destination to unload our luggage. While waiting, they did a parts search and came up empty handed. The shop went beyond great service to locate and have parts ordered/delivered. I left my vehicle a day later when parts were available. BHTS repaired the A/C promptly and fast. If parts had been readily available, they would have worked furiously to fix my Nitro A/C. After a few days, the work was done. The A/C worked great. We drove almost 2000 miles back to Texas. The A/C worked great. As person that does my own vehicle maintenance and know about major car repairs, I trust BHTS to do a great job. No hassel and great service. I highly recommend them for vehicle repairs.Thank you BLACK HILLS TRUCK STOP.

The guy is a crook. I left a large deposit for work ($10,000) and the work was never started. Asked for my money back but that never happened. Went to court and won. Still waiting for phone call and money. Go somewhere else.

Rick did a great pre trip inspection on my truck and I highly recommend. He was very honest and did not even charge me as everything looked good.
