Tanner and the crew at Black Hills Powersports are very helpful to find the right bike for you. There's no pressure to buy and they are very patient to match you with the right bike at the right time. I highly recommend working with them to find your next ride!

Every encounter with Black Hills Powersports (phone, email, text) has been absolutely positive. Nate, Jerry, Kelsey, Alex, Gina (I think), all of them have customer service on the top of their mind. Additional thoughts - I had a special request to have the transfer paperwork sent to a licensing agent, since I was going to be out of town. Kelsey had no concerns about that, and everything went well. Furthermore, the motorcycle was the absolute best value in the entire nation. There was one bike in that model that was cheaper, but it was three years older, and had 20k more miles. Finally I'd like to say that you can comfortably make your purchase from Black Hills, knowing that you will be in good hands.

Bought a bike from the them super easy! Nate was phenomenal and cant speak highly enough of the team and the experience. They think of everything and are great with credit applications, not sending everything to 100 different banks. The beauty is in the details and they absolutely nail it!!

I am from Wisconsin, planning a trip to South Dakota at the end of April. Could not get any trail or permit information until I got a hold of Bob. He answered every single question I had, and was happy to do so. If I lived in that area I would do all my business with Bob, I really look forward to meeting you and taking you out for a beer. Hopefully we can get a little riding in together too. Thanks Bob you re awesome and so is Black Hills Powersports. Thank you very much Mike and Lisa.

The Staff at Black Hills Power sports were wonderful to deal with. They were very patient with me, even when I had a loss in the family in the middle of purchasing my new bike. I will be using them for my future purchases and maintenance.

Pulled in on a Saturday for a long overdue oil change for my bike after a couple weeks on the road. Service was busy but I was happy to wait a few hours... but then an hour and a half later they cam out to tell me it was done! Gave the bike a badly needed wash too. The showroom is very well stocked with a good selection of both on and off road gear, tires and supplies. Staff were very friendly, and Scott L the service manager went over the top to make my wait comfortable and surprisingly short. Toby the mechanic was great. Highly recommended if you need a pit stop near Black Hills.

Brock, Danny and Nate were exceptional to deal with!! They let me come in while the side by side was going through inspection and kept me informed during that whole process. When it was back together they called and let me come test drive it. I had the best customer experience and received the perfect side by side for us!! Keep in mind this was during the rally which is the busiest time for them. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will be back for future purchases!! Top notch bunch of folks!!!

Huge thanks to Black Hills Powersports! I was traveling from California and while in Rapid City found that my front tire was damaged. They where able to get a new tire on and get me back on the road to enjoy the rest of my trip quickly. Because of them I was able to make the remaining 1,500 miles home safely and with peace of mind. The entire staff was very helpful and took great care of me!

Jerry was beyond helpful and accommodating! I was able to test ride several bikes in order to help my decision and not once did I hear any complaining nor did Jerry make me feel rushed. As this is my wife s and I second bike we have bought from Blackhills Powersports with Jerry as our salesman I can say that he goes above and beyond to make the process as smooth and non intimidating as possible! Even though the sale took longer than expected (due to my own insurance company taking forever) Jerry stayed far past closing time to make sure I was taken care of. Thank you Jerry and the whole team at Blackhills Powersports!

I have to thank Black Hills Powersports and their staff. There were a couple guys there that really helped me out of a jam during my road trip to Mt. Rushmore, and put new tires on my bike on a Saturday of a long weekend with literally no notice. I am grateful, You guys are great! So thank you.

I made an appointment to have my four wheeler serviced with an oil change and differential fluid change. Made the appointment a week early, dropped it off a day early and picked it up the day after it was supposed to be serviced. When I arrived, They told me that they still had not serviced it because they were behind. I live several hours away which is why I made an appointment and was very punctual but what is the point if they can t hold up there end of the deal. Ended up purchasing the materials to do it myself and received a whopping 10% discount for the inconvenience. I can t rate the store on their other services other than the service department but I definitely do not recommend.

Danny and Jeremy have been exceptional to deal with. They had the right machine at the right price. Had 1 small issue on it and they took care of it within hours. Highly recommend BH Powersports.

so I would only recommend buying a new bike from them if you get the expensive service plan. if you don't they cant tell you the price of your fist service. I asked how much it costs the day I bought the bike, when I scheduled the appt, and when I picked it up the price went up each time I asked ending up roughly $150 more than I was told the first time. when I was leaving I from the service pickup a salesmen asked me how is it going and I told him exactly this. a cupule months pass and I get a voucher from them that says free factory oil from them and I think that its a nice gesture. I schedule an oil change over the phone and I asked if the voucher is good for an oil change and they said yes it is. appointment day comes I load up the bike and take it there and at this point I find out its only good for factory oil not the filter or labor so I cancel my appointment take the voucher over to parts and ask for the oil. the voucher is not good for oil either its only for scheduled oil changes.the filter is $15the oil (royal purple for example) $22the labor watch a you tube video and just do ittotal $37now for themthe filter is $15the oil is $22the labor $130 an hr.shop rags fee $10total $177 for an oil changetotal with voucher $155the only reason I am complaining about this is because every interaction I have with this dealer makes me feel like I have been mislead. Its a shame because I love my bike ill just teach myself how to work on italso don't bother setting up a appt because they cant hold there end of it

I purchased a 2020 R1 from Black Hills Powersports. Over the phone, I worked the details of the deal, making sure that all maintenance would be good to go and was promised a front to back fluid swap and general maintenance before purchase. I live in Colorado and drove up to Black Hills. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the salesperson and taken to look at the bike. I was shocked to see that the brake-fluid was exceptionally dirty, oil dirty, and the maintenance promised was not delivered. I asked to get a break on the price because of this and because I was paying with cash, and I got no wiggle-room. Upon purchase, I bought canyon dancers that were not included after purchasing this not-cheap bike. I was also promised the second key and a service manual that has yet to come two months later. My title paperwork was then incorrect from the dealership and the DMV needed to communicate with them to get this issue fixed. In addition to this, after all of the troubles, I had to pay the $7.40 titling fee as the dealership refused to take care of this. After all this heartache, I would not recommend this dealer. Over promised, under delivered, and incorrect paperwork. The bike is in great shape, but the service I received was at most sub-par.

A Great Place to buy your toys. The staff is very friendly. I stopped in to get some oil and filters for our bikes. I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and friendly everyone was. So, a few weeks later, I decided to stop in again to see what toys they had available. I really wasn't looking to buy anything in particular because we were in the process of moving out of state. A very nice older gentlemen (ok he wasn't really much older than me) came up to me and we just started talking away about all kinds of stuff. Bob, showed me everything from scooters , sportbikes, dirtbikes and Side-by-sides. Bob told me about his family and their UTV adventures. Sounds like fun. We laughed a lot. He sparked my interest in getting a Side-by-side, a Kawaski KRX 1000. My wife and I ride ATV and motorcycles but never a side-by-side, so I went home and told my wife I met a very friendly sales manager at Black Hills Powersports who is highly recommending us to get a Side-by-side. So, we did some research on YouTube and returned back a week later and met salesperson Tanner. He was friendly and very professional. Tanner was very familiar with the KRX. Tanner then got Bob, and they both worked together to deliver one of the best buying experiences we have had. Although the staff at Black Hills Powersports knew we were moving out of state and most likely not be returning anytime soon, we were both treated exceptionally well. Thank you to Bob, Tanner and Dan. We really appreciate your dedication to customer service.

Great folks and they didn t gouge me on the price of a battery. My 5 year old battery gave out up at Mt Rushmore during rally weekend. Called BHPs and they had my battery (GL1800) in stock. Paid for it over the phone, they filled it, charged and had it ready to go when I got there (after using the park ranger jumper cables). Cool store, great inventory and we even demoed some Royal Enfield s that were set up in the parking lot. Thanks BHP for taking care of me.

The Black Hills Powersports was a great experience from beginning to end! My first day shopping I met Tanner and explained I needed something that would be on dirt roads mostly but still needed it street legal. He went over all my options and explained the different things that the different bikes would do and not do. The second: day I came in and talked to Tanner at length about one specific bike. Again, I learned a lot. The third day: Tanner put together my paperwork for the bank; after that was finalized, I RANG THE BELL! Everyone cheered! Tanner then introduced me to other key team members, in case, I needed their assistance in the future. Then he showed me my bike! Great Experience with these guys!

I was on a long distance Motorcycle ride and roughly 1,000 miles from home when my bike lost all power and stalled. While waiting for my tow I contacted their service department and spoke with Shane. This happened late afternoon on a Thursday. The bike was towed to them that same night. I received a call from Shane on Friday morning and was told they would do everything they could to at least diagnose the issue. I received a call within a few hours from Shane who advised the fuel pump had failed. He offered to have the part shipped overnight in hopes it could be replaced on Saturday. Saturday. I had to leave my hotel Saturday morning by 11:00. When I arrived at the shop I was told they had tracked the pump and it would be delivered by noon. They were nice enough to store my soft bagels behind the counter and give me a place to sit while I waited. During this time I observed the sales team in action. I was so impressed how they conducted business. They greeted customers, pointed them in the right direction and left them alone to look. They did not pressure the customer at all. To say I am impressed with their service and sales department is an understatement. I wish they were closer so I could do business with them again. My bike ran perfectly on my 1050 mile ride home. If you are in the area please check their place out. Special shout-out to Shane for getting me in so quickly and technician Josh for doing doing a great job on the repair!!

Pretty terrible experience.Sounded so great, I was traveling on my adventure bike from Colorado and needed a better set of road tires. I called and asked for the set of Shinko 705's. Guy had to check, calls me back stating "we have the shinkos" I was ecstatic...After scheduling for 2 days later, we were in business and my travel plans were still in tact. They then proceeded to sell me on an oil change I didn't need for an additional $150+.When I arrived to pick up my bike... I noticed it had shinko 700's (knobby offroad tires) as opposed to the 705's (no knobs, street tire) which I made mention of immediately. I was given no other option, and with plans to be 6 hours down the road at another destination by the next morning... I left, old tires in hand, and new tires I never asked for on my bike.. and a $500+ bill.I reached out and they offered to rectify things by rebalancing my tires on my loop back thru the area. I've emailed the supposed "manager" multiple times and received zero response since. Icing on the cake, they even charged me for disposal of the tires that they saved for me to take (at my request) to avoid that additional fee.Quite literally from top to bottom the worst service I've ever received from any powersports dealer I've dealt with.

Those guys really let me down. It was disappointing and discouraging. They were extremely rude and dishonest. I'll never go there again. Horrible experience. I feel so disrespected and insulted. My Dad is getting old and they really wanted to take advantage of him by being dishonest. I was so upset. No integrity or honor. Horrible.

I have now owned 7 different motorcycles with my last purchase being from here. The customer service was great. Thank you Jerry for all your help with my new Kawasaki 650! I m even more thankful that for the first time I purchased a bike, they were able to lower it for me the same day. Every motorcycle I have owned has had to be lowered except for two of them and never has it been able to be on the same day. This is the first place I have been to, that for whatever reason had the lowering link on hand! I commend you for this as being 4 foot nothing with 27inch inseams even the smaller bikes have a high seat height for me. I know there are more taller riders than there are shorter ones like me, but even if places kept one link on hand for each bike you would probably use them because I know I have walked away from several bikes because I would not be able to ride it at all without lowering it and I m not trying to wait a month with a new bike I can t even touch. So thank you for making it a more comfortable ride for me right out of the gate. Thank you to the techs for sliding it in and getting it done quickly, I appreciate you guys in the back for making things happen.

I was looking for a 2021 FJR1300ES and none was available in Montana so I contacted Black Hills Powersports and received a response from Brock in less than an hour. We exchanged a few emails, and I rented a trailer and drove over. The buying experienced was completely painless and professional. Brock is a great sales associate and I highly recommend working with him. Straightforward, honest, and helpful. One couldn t ask for better service from making the deal to loading the bike for travel.UPDATE, July 2023: After 2 years I returned for the 26,000 mile valve check. The real test of the customer service comes when an issue comes up and one did. It was EXTREMELY minor but they got right to it, resolved it, and did so in a highly professional manner keeping my updated along the way. I couldn't be more pleased.

I would like to give Keith Berry a special THANK YOU. I needed new tires for my 1991 Yamaha Virago XV1100 to get back to Canada safely. The service department said they wouldn t work on a bike that old. I was not pleased since it was a Yamaha at a Yamaha dealership. Mr. Berry stepped up and I got both tires installed and balanced in 2 hours. A well deserved THANK YOU to Mr. Keith Berry. We made it back home with no issues and I love the new tires.
