I called this morning to find a not so common battery which they had available, as well as the availability to install it today. The service was exceptional as well as the price quote which was substantially less than another establishment. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Well done.

My husband and I can't sing enough praises about these guys. They are our number one choice every single time for any service on our two vehicles. We travel all the way from Custer for their service. They are fair in price and they go above and beyond to get the job done. I recently took my 04 Subaru Forester, which was not running, to Belly Brothers due to the fact that my usual mechanic was very backed up. This was my first, and last, experience with Belly Brothers. After a couple of days I called for an update and they informed me it would need approximately $3,400 in repairs (I paid less for the car several years ago)! They said the timing on the engine was off, head gasket leaking, and would probably need new valves At this time I called my usual guy again and he said he could manage to take a look so I had it towed to him. He instantly knew when he tried to turn the engine over that it was not a timing issue. In the end it was a bad ignition switch and cost me less than $400 and the car has since been running great. I have no idea what Belly Brothers was looking at or trying to do to me but their diagnosis was nowhere close to the actual problem. I called them to let them know and they really didn t say much. I asked to be reimbursed for what they charged me to look at it, just because they were so far off, but I never heard back. I will not be taking any vehicle to them again and will definitely not be referring them to anybody else.

Mechanic misdiagnosed my car so badly, I had to take it to another shop for a second opinion.I ended up spending less money and getting the problem fixed once I got that second opinion.Belly brothers told me I d end up needing a new engine, the other shop told me I only needed to replace 2 sensors. My car is running fine once again!

Went to another shop because my car was stuttering. They did 2200$ worth of work left and the vehicle was doing the same thing went back 2x more same situation. Went to another shop. They charged me 900$ left same thing. A friend told me to go to Albert and crew. 90$ later the car has been great for 6 months. I use them for all my maintenance and repair needs nobody else will ever touch my vehicles!!!!

Robert and his team are Awesome! Belly Brother's Auto has been my wife and I's go to mechanic shop for years! They have always treated us right, been honest and reliable! The Belly Bros. Run a very good business. They hire really good mechanic s who know what they are doing and they are fast, fair, and honest. Don t be afraid to take your vehicles here. Great Service and the price tag came really close to the quote I was given which is not always a guarantee. I had a head gasket replaced on my vehicle and when I noticed issues with my radiator after I picked it up they got me right back in the same day and got that fixed to. Awesome service, fast, efficient, friendly. Its amazing to find a car repair business that's not out to get however much money they can from you. I paid a way overpriced diagnostic at a car dealership where my car was purchased to be told I needed new battery which was only 2 1/2 years old. They wanted an outrageous price, luckily my battery was under warranty at a battery place in town so I went & purchased a new prorated price battery. I get home & shut off my car & it will not even turn over, just a clicking sound. I was able to get it started & took to Belly Brother's & left it for a diagnosis. I called the same day since a 3 day holiday was coming up,, I wanted my car which started occasionally & to bring it back after the 3 day holiday for whatever needed done if not real serious. Called them before closing & my starter line needed tightened. I had a back brake light out that was also fixed. Started right up & was told to go ahead , take it home for the 3 days they would be closed & see if everything was working well after they fixed it. I was totally impressed with this group of guys!!! I'll be using them for any future car repair needs. Thank You, Belly Brother's Auto Tech

Belly Brothers is a great business. I have brought several of my vehicles here over the past several years and have always been more than satisfied. Robert and his crew are very professional, honest and will do everything they can to save you money. They'll never sell you parts or services that are not needed, having told me on more than one occasion that repairs aren't needed yet. They will talk options and are willing to give some advise if you are wanting to do some of the work yourself. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with their work, honesty and customer service.

Was quoted a price for AC repair however it ended up being $400 more than I was quoted. I understand these things happen however you would expect that the problem would be fixed. Almost immediately I noticed that the AC wasn t working as it should, so I took it back. I was told that the proper amount of refrigerant wasn t used in and that I was going to have to pay an extra $20 for the extra refrigerant that should have been used. I paid that, and shortly after getting my car back I noticed that the AC still wasn t working properly. I took it back and was told that it still needed more parts and more work that was going to cost an additional $650. Not feeling that I had a choice at this point I had them finish the job as I really needed it fixed. It was my understanding that because of the inconvenience of the whole ordeal that I would only be paying for the parts however on the final invoice we received when we picked up vehicle we were charged $276 in labor. So all in all I ended up spending more than $1,000 more than I was originally quoted. I understand that additional things can come up when a car is being worked on, but come on. I actually considered using them again, however when I saw that labor charge on the final invoice that was it for me. Will not be using them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.Service: Auto A/C replacement

I purchased the car and it seemed a lemon. Took it somewhere to get it fixed spent $1000 And took it home to find that it wouldn't start and every day I had to jump it. It also had small damage to vehicle from being on their lot. I had no hope for the car but somebody recommended Belly Brothers so I reluctantly went expecting the worst. To my surprise Belly Brothers took my lemon and made it seem like a new used car. I am nk longer afraid to drive it, I starts up no problems, runs smooth and seems fast. I am convinced they can take a car in bad shape. like mine seriously was and no one else could diagnose, and turn it into a reliable car. They are now my go to mechanics! Arguably one of the best auto shops I ve used in the country! One pleasant conversation on the phone and Robert brought me in without an appointment very last minute to help me get on the road ASAP when no other shop in town would. All of his team were very professional and friendly in explaining what they were doing and why. They even stayed open late to help others that needed help after arrived and made sure to treat everyone s vehicles as if they were there own. Fair prices and great work!! Couldn t recommend more :) THANKS!

First took a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country with a malfunctioning driver tail light to them that no one else wanted to touch. After an hour of diagnostics, they found two wires had worn and shorted on each other in the middle of the path from the front of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle. They cut of the bad portions of wire and spliced in new wire and the problem was solved.I figured since they fixed the van problem, I would let them take my truck engine light problem, poor shifting, and reduced power issue on a 2009 Chevrolet 3500 6.6 turbo diesel. They ran full diagnostics and figured it was definitely something electrical. They then ran 3/4 of the trucks wiring and miraculously found one drop of transmission fluid from the top of the transmission. They took a closer look and found the pressure valve control wire harness was compromised and causing a short. They ordered the part which was hard to find, installed it, replaced transmission fluid, transmission filter, and sealed the transmission pan. Then they took it for a long and hard test drive as I had asked. Price was very reasonable for the time they had to spend diagnosing and fixing. Took it home driving it hard to box elder and it seemed like it had improved power and drove even better than when I bought it. So far we have hauled a 14000 pound camper from rapid city to central ohio with no issues with the truck.I would recommend Belly Brothers. They are worth the drive from box elder.Services: Engine repair, Battery

we are full time RV'ers so I got a recommendation and it was a good one, the owner said his business model has always been total honesty with a fair price. Their service was outstanding they got me in at my appointment time and got right to work and i was on my way 90mins later.. This is not a small shop the phone is constantly ringing and there were 8 or 10 vehicles in the shop. This is the third time i have had this scheduled service done, once at a private shop and once at a dealership paying for the two fuel filters & labor, I paid $326 & $425 respectively. i was surprised when the owner told be i only had one filter and my bill was $177 the owner then took the time to give me the part number and info I'd need to be proactive next time. I highly recommend this shop and will consider scheduling work here if at all practical.

I had an issue with a BMW and found the service provided to be quite unique. The entire staff is helpful, thorough and genuinely concerned about providing outstanding customer service. Prices are amazing and very competitive. Just want to take a minute and thank Robert Young and his entire staff for making a very difficult circumstance easier to manage. They will provide you a competitive rate and will be thorough to make sure you understand what will be done and why items need to be addressed. In decades of going to auto mechanics I have never had such a great experience. The Saint Bernard puppy Catalina gives them extra added appeal as well. Thanks again to the entire staff and sincerely appreciate all you do!

You couldn tPay me to take my vehicle here they do not properly diagnose all the can seem to do is keep throwing parts at you vehicle until Something fixes the problem all you here from them is we will have to try something else what we thought it was didn t fix the problem and we can not return the part we already installed on your car thanks belly brother for just shot gunning part and not actually diagnosing the real issueI can honestly say I would not recommend

During our camping trip we began having engine troubles along with no A/C. While searching for a shop in or near the Rapid City area I found Belly Brothers. Read some of the reviews and thought I d give them a shot. Showed up the next morning and Robert attended to me promptly. Pulled our Suburban in diagnosed the problems mechanically as well as the A/C and had us back on the road within 4 hours. Robert is a standup guy. Knowing we were from out of state and on vacation he easily could ve told us he couldn t get to us right away, charge us a premium etc. Instead Robert treated us as if we were locals and charged us accordingly. If you re in need of a reputable honest shop in the Rapid City, SD area do yourself a favor and call Belly Brothers Auto Tech. You ll be glad you did.Services: Engine repair, Air conditioning

Robert and his crew are great to work with! Always super friendly and their prices for the repairs are about half of what some of what I was quoted by another shop in town. Robert also follows up with me to make sure my repairs went well after the fact. Fast friendly service. They seem to know what they are doing. Price wise they seem great. I have not got mine fixed yet as it will be a very expensive repair. So since I did not fix it right away I was surprised when I was charged for the estimate to the tune of $47.75. Even though they say free estimates it really is not. A little false advertisement. You will be charged and then discounted when you fix it. So that is my reason for 4 stars. Once the repair is done I will update on the rest of the service.
