The customer service here is excellent; I will return for all my car needs. The store manager, Alex, went above and beyond to help me! He changed out my battery in under 10 minutes and was so friendly.

Good morning, first and foremost I d like to apologize for the low rating response of 3 stars as I did not intentionally mean to do so. I had a small seizure at the time I was doing my review and could not do anything about it until afterwords, so please except my apologies.As for my review of Autozone, I have had nothing short of great service and customer support from Mike and the team at Autozone on Mt. Rushmore Rd. Rapid City,SD!!The team there were and are very customer oriented, friendly and knowledgeable and go above and beyond what they are trained to do to ensure that every customer is 100 % + satisfied in anyway they can.Over the last year, They have become the ONLY auto store I will go to. If they are not open or have what I need, I will wait until they are open or have what I need.Thank you Gentlemen for such great service!

Alex, the store manager, was so helpful with my old truck. I didn't have to buy a part, he was able to fix my wipers with the old part. Highly recommend bringing your concerns to him.

Went to get my alternator exchanged on warranty, and was given a fake test result by an extremely rude employee. Went to o'reillys immediately after and their test came up as dead 3 times in a row. I was finally able to get help at the other location

Autozone on Mt.Rushmore rd has subpar staffing. I went in to acquire a tool that was on the AutoZone website as in stock. When I got in the store, the manager said he knew what I was talking about, and it was a discontinued tool. He quickly looked through a single box of items and said it was in another box, trying to tell me they only had a rental tool. He asked me what the tool number was , and I had to ask why he himself doesn't look it up on their computers. He finally looked it up to see it was, in fact, a tool that was not discontinued and said they stocked. He said they didn't have any in stock as it was a part of a new plan-o-gram.Rather than immediately going to the computer him or the employee were next to and looking it up, they both tried to rely on me to provide all information to them when they couldnhave easily looked up a part descriptionrather than turning a one to two min conversationinyo a 5 min plus arguement over what i was looking for with lack of wanting to help. The customer service and communication with this store, in particular, is the worst in Rapid City of all parts store.

The staff has gone over and beyond for me at this location. Always super outgoing and extremely helpful, especially Tyler. Tyler has always looked up the part numbers and researched the best route for me to take when it comes to caring for my car, not to mention, always goes the extra mile to ensure I am satisfied!! Dylan has helped me with an assembly on my car with good explanations as well. Great job guys, kudos to Mt. Rushmore Rd. Autozone, you ROCK!!!!!!!

The customer service I got at this location was amazing! Dylan helped diagnose a bad alternator on my Acura MDX. He was extremely professional and went out of his way to help get me back on the road. And Tyler helped me too. Both of them are GREAT employees! Thanks again!

The crew working at the Mount Rushmore store were beyond helpful with helping me change my brakes and at a much lower cost than Meineke and a bit lower than black hills truck stop as long as you don t mind getting a little dirty

The shorter dark haired guy working Sunday 10-15 has horrible people skills ! thought it was just me but then overheard the way he talks with customers over the phone and he acted the same . Feel bad for the young man that has to work with that guys crabby attitude all day .

My husband and I always call around to check prices on whatever we are looking for, but 9 times out of 10 we end up at Auto Zone. Their prices are usually pretty competitive, and when they do end up being the higher price, they usually end up being the only place that has the part(s) we need in stock. And the customer service is always great!

Absolutely AWFUL experience here! I came in to buy spark plugs and the guy wouldn t help me look up what kind I needed! He told me to go figure it out. I told him I don t know where to look he said it might be under the hood, the just stood there. I left and went to O Riley s and the helped me! Will not EVER go back to this Autozone!

Had to puck up a battery for my sister's car. We brought in the bad battery and the staff assisted us quickly and effortlessly. They were proffesional and polite. We got what we needed and enjoyed the experience.

Hopefully picked the right store. Driver's side wiper broke. We walked into the store and were immediately asked how we could be helped. Before I even finish the problem description, Alex the manger lead us out the door. Quickly assessed the problem and recommend a fix. We left with 2 new blades, installed and very thankful. Now a forever AutoZone customer.

Shawn was incredibly friendly and helpful. I came in with a decent sized list. Alone it would have taken me probably an hour to find everything. Shawn was able to get me out the door in 10 minutes.

We were visiting from out of town and our battery died all the way in the campground in Custer. We called all around trying to find the battery and someone who could put it in. We called them and Jenny was nice and very knowledgeable. They had a battery. We went to pick it up and they were just as nice in person. She even gave us the number and address of a mechanic that was able to put our battery and save our vacation!

I was surprised with all the knowledge they had normally when you go to an Auto Zone you somtimes know more than the people who work there but this place has people who have knowledge on parts and cars I love going back to this one.

Tanner at this location has been great beyond measures. I don't know have much knowledge about vehicles. But any visit i make, hes surely there and making sure i have all the correct and best parts i need! Hes a fantastic help and amazing employee. Keeps my business returning

Clerk was very helpful and knowledgeable. He even had tools on hand to replace the part. The clerk was awesome his knowledge and skill set him way above normal parts clerks. I wish I knew his name.

The gentleman that helped me find wipers for my new car, even offered to put them on for me & fill up my wiper washer fluid...even though it was miserably cold outside! Some of the best customer service I've had in a long time. Thank you, AutoZone!!!!

Counter man tried to upsale from a 90 dollar part to a 200 dollar part.. our truck isnt even worth the 90 dollar part.. lol i work in a parts store and if the customer knws what they want..sell that too them.. most people working on their own vehicles.. live on a budget..
