Traveling west from Pennsylvania the check engine light came on in our f250. The Ford dealer said they could get to it in 3 weeks. These guys took care is us that day getting us in and out in 2.5 hours. Thanks so much for that. Good fast dependable service !! Highly recommend. ( diesel particulate filter sensor)

Accelerated Diesel Service was unable to provide service in a timely manner. The service manager stated it was going to be 30 to 45 days before Accelerated Diesel could diagnose my starting issue.

Coming through on a cross country tour and discovered our 2003 Duramax Diesel in our Silverado was losing oil. They quickly diagnosed the problem and made specific offer in terms of cost and timeline. They were upfront in saying that they couldn't get to it for another 1.5 days. Then, 1.5 days later, they did the work exactly in the time predicted, even after letting us know that it could take a little longer. Price exactly as predicted. They documented what they found along the way on the bill. We were off on our way same day as work started. No problems since. We had an *excellent* experience with these guys! Thanks so much.BTW, having a huge camper (Lance 1121) on top of the truck was no problem in their shop. Plenty of clearance, including using a lift.

We stopped here while driving through to Jackson, WY, to try and diagnose a problem with our truck. Though we didn't have a appointment, nor time to leave it for repair... Benjamin took about 30 minutes or more to research, and diagnose our issue, even testing our fuel pressure and putting the engine through several stress tests to define the problem. Though I offered to pay for his time, he only charged us for a bottle of Hotshots, (suggested based on past experiences he's had with other trucks with our issue.) Great shop.

Ben and Jared were wonderful! We were in from out of state, and had a check engine light come up on our truck. They were able to get us right in, diagnose the problem, and send us on our way. Highly recommended!

We were driving in from Iowa to vacation in Hill city for six days. Our diesel truck ( which was towing our travel trailer ) overheated outside of wall. Accelerated Services quickly diagnosed the problem and located a quality part (fan clutch) in town. They had us up and running within 48 hours when others, Such as the local Ford dealership, told us we would be out of luck and it would be mid August before they would even touch it. Accelerated Services came to our rescue. So extremely appreciative of their quick and fair service. They saved our family vacation from being ruined along with our stress and anxiety about how we would return home. Thank you so much!

Travelling cross country with my 01 Dodge. Was having issues as I hit the road in Rapid City, and was forced to stay an extra day, as all of this occurred on a Sunday, which just allowed for more sight seeing. Called several other shops on Monday, and Accelerated was the only one which was able to fit me in for a diagnosis. An hour and a half after getting into the shop, my truck was fixed and was back on the road. I cannot thank the folks here enough for getting everything done in a quick and effortless manner, and would recommend them to anyone that has troubles in the Rapid City area, and wish I lived closer if I had any other problems that arose.

My 7.3L broke down on top of Mt. Rushmore. The ford dealer was backed up for three weeks. Accelerated did diagnostics overnight and found my problem. They fix it and had me out the door in two days. The team at Accelerated is top notch. The only issue I have is they aren t closer to home so they can work on the truck all the time.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!We were traveling trough town on a road trip from California and in need of some help. We showed up at Accelerated Diesel after visiting two other shops. They took us as a walk in and had one of their knowledgeable technicians look at our truck. We were back on the road within an hour! These guys know their stuff and had exceptional customer service to boot.

I never write reviews. However, in this case I must. The people were so nice and friendly. I was on a cross-country move and everything went wrong with my truck. They got me in quickly, diagnosed everything, and completed the repairs in a timely manner. I hope I can find a place where I'm moving that even comes close to the level of service I received at Accelerated Diesel Service. The staff at Accelerated Diesel are excellent. I have taken my F250 there several times for a variety of things and have found them to be efficient, honest, and fairly priced. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a great mechanic! My pickup has been running like a champion ever since.

Highly recommended. They stand behind their work, you can trust they'll do a good job the first time or fix it again when things go wrong. Because sometimes even new stuff breaks. Wouldn't go to anyone else, even for simple oil changes.

Hands down the best diesel shop in western South Dakota!! Ben and Jared were very informative about what was going on with my pickup and always help me to understand what needs to be done to fix the problem.Very honest and fair priced shop.I know that I can take any vehicle to them and they will get it fixed correctly and in a timely manner. I was traveling in the area from out of town and my truck broke down. This shop was awesome with getting me in, even though they were already busy. They fixed the issue quickly which turned out to be a minor fix. Great communication and honest shop. I would highly recommend!

We had our 08 Dodge Cummings worked on here and we were very pleased with the service. They had our truck done faster than we expected. If they quote you a price they will stay with that price. They don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. Very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend them especially if you have a diesel!

Traveling to Custer when out 7.3 diesel started acting up. Called them at 8 in the morning, pulled in at 830, and were being helped at 831. My husband is very particular about who works on his truck, but these guys were so thorough, knowledgeable and nice that he felt comfortable right away that they knew what they were talking about. These guys are true mechanics, not people to throw parts at a problem. Spent over an hour diagnosing our truck and the bill was much lower than we expected. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

Traveled from Washington State to South Dakota. About 60 miles into my 1300 plus mile trip, my Duramax engine developed a high pitched whine/whistle. They investigated and found a missing bolt from the EGR valve. Did a makeshift repair that got me home with no problems. Thanks for being an honest repair shop and not taking advantage of a stranded traveler!!!Service: Engine repair

The only shop I bring my vehicles too. The guys are honest and straight forward with your vehicle. They treat it as if it where there own. Call and keep you informed on what needs to be done before they start racking up a bill with out informing the owner. Top notch service.

These folks saved my Vacation. We were visiting Mt. Rushmore when our truck broke down. Nobody else in town was even willing to look at it, too busy (Sturgis week). These folks not only worked me in , they were able to diagnose and repair my engine the same day, on a Friday afternoon yet. Not only saving my last day on Vac, but also saving me an extended weekend in Rapid City staring at hotel walls. Awesome experience, came in at 1100, my truck had an odd knock only at at specific conditions and one of the employees came out and checked it out and drove it around, told me what I figured, it was not a normal sound, and within 4 hrs later, I had an injector replaced and was driving the truck, all without an appt, great people very professional and couldn t have been quicker, and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this shop for repairs, will definitely be using them for any major repairs in the future

Accelerated Diesel was recommended to us by someone who has had really good experience with them. We don't live in the area but stopped here while traveling across country. We went to Ben at Accelerated, desperate for help with a badly smoking pick-up with a new tuner. He figured out the problem (unlike everyone else we'd talked to including the shop that installed our tuner in NC) and got it fixed by working with the tuner's manufacturer. He got us back on the road in a truck which is performing like it should. We cannot thank him or recommend him highly enough!

I was traveling through town on work and had to bring my truck in. I was on a very tight schedule. They took care of me immediately without an appointment, and everyone was professional, friendly and I was back on the road within a half hour. If you are looking for a place to bring your vehicle - this is it!

Took two of my trucks to them, one with fuel problems and one with clutch problems. They fixed them both, reasonable price and fixed right. Would definitely recommend, they'll be my go to shop.

This is an Awesome company we was traveling and developed overheating problems with a Duramax diesel everyone said it was a Head gasket problem which would've been big bucks the folks at accelerated diesel diagnosed it with a dirty radiator and needing to replace the clutch fan which was under a $500.00 fix. We had eight children with us and all I can say is a big THANK YOU to Eccelerated Diesel you was able to help us complete our vacation and made eight children very happy.

Blew my cummins 12 valve 60 miles east. While I was sitting on the highway for 3 hours I did my research....I choose accelerated Diesel ....great decision...real personal guys, no there stuff, no bullsh_t, I went with a long block, new everything, they scheduled me on time and just finished 2000 mile trip...no leaks..Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

We broke down in Custer State Park in the middle of a big storm with thunder, lightning, rain and 50-75 mph wind gusts. Jerod quickly diagnosed and repaired our car for a fair price and we were back on the road again.
