My car broke down in Murdo SD due to the cooling fan about to fall off and I had to get it towed to a mechanic. Catlin's, was the one that answered first so I chose them. They were great, super great customer service. They went out of their way to take me to a hotel while I waited for my car to get fixed. They also picked me up once it was done. They did quick service once they got the part my car needed and got me back on the road so I could get back home.Service: Engine repair

Our truck broke down on I-70 and the tow driver said that this was the best place to have it repaired. Staff was fantastic and professional, quick diagnosis but the parts had to be ordered in so we spent an extra day in Pierre. I needed to get home quickly to make a surgery and they made my vehicle a priority. Would definitely recommend everyone to use this shop!

Our Chevy Suburban broke down on I-90 on our move out to Seattle. These guys were absolutely awesome. They squeezed us in the day of the incident, identified the problem quickly (fuel pump needed to be replaced), and worked with urgency to fix it. They did it all in 2.5 hours and we were on our way again. We are now a week and a half out from this experience -our truck has had no more issues and we made it to Seattle. Fair pricing and friendly people. Thanks so much to Catch Car Clinic!

I came into Pierrre on vacation last year with a failing clutch in my pickup. Joel went above and beyond to make sure I got the repairs needed quickly and at a great price. His professionalism and expert knowledge make this such a simple review to leave. My truck is 10 years old, and it's hard to judge how much money to put into an older vehicle. I am very grateful for Catlin's; honest straight-talk where you decide what you want done. Excellent shop!!

Needed a cv axel put in, they claimed none of the after market parts work even when it was the same length as the one they took out, they claimed it was too short. So my car magically grew overnight! Then the claim was that only Honda certified part will fit. They told me that the part would be here Thursday and Monday still no part. They have had my car for 3 weeks now. The original quoted price was $349 parts and labor now the part by itself is $600. This shop is a scam and a rip off. They are taking advantage of the situation knowing that it s my only car so I ll have no choice but to pay almost whatever they want. I will never bring them another vehicle for anything they are a scam!Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Terrible customer service, VERY rude secretary unprofessional. Was threatened with being taken to court over a payment 48 hrs past due when I was out of town and unable to drop it off. Definitely not family friendly. Crooked business. Had my throttle body vo out on me while I was coming through Fort Pierre escorting a oversize load. They diagnosed the problem and got me in and out in a few hours plus gave me a ride to the hotel to wait. Just totally awesome people and great work

Ac went out on our family trip, with 2 little kids and 102 degree summer heat. When all the other shops i called were weeks out and wouldn't help us, catlins got us in and back on the road same day. Everyone I talked to over there was awesome. They even picked me up from my hotel when my car was done so I wouldn't have to walk in the heat. Thanks for saving our trip, would have been miserable without your help.Service: A/C installation & repair

My 89 f150 had to get column work on it and they got it done in a timely manner and at a good price that didnt cost me an arm and a leg and got the job done right the first time. I plan on taking my truck there for all future repairs if needed. Excellent job and friendlythanks catlins!

I love this place! James is the best mechanic I've ever delt with. This man could fix anything with his eyes closed! If you want superb work and pure honesty, this is place to go.

Horrible. Had to wait three weeks for my car, when it was suppose to be done in 3 days. They added extra expenses then they originally said they would and still not sure my car is fixed. Will not do business there again.
