I have stayed in very few hotels that would get a 5 star rating. This one was one that I felt I could have stayed another night, and not mind one bit! Great location, soft water, clean, higher end shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion!The ice machine vending and pop machines all worked as they should. Complimentary breakfast was an offering of cereal waffles yogurt muffins toast and coffee with International Delight creamer in 2 different flavors!I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wi-fi: 90 mbps down 40 mbps upSome of the best wifi I ve ever had at a hotel. Bed was very soft and A/C cooled down immediately. Breakfast is a little lacking, but the front desk is kind and prompt to fix issues and answer questions.Tall people beware; I m 5 6 and the showerhead was still just barely above my head.

At first impression the motel is nice and cozy. The desk clerk was very pleasant. The carpets were clean...Our daughter's room seemed to be nicer than ours except someone placed the clothes rack over the desk....When we entered our room I received goose bumps from the AC left on...The recliner in our room has a broken arm. In the tub was a clump of hair...Three 3 items short of receiving 5***** and received 4.9.....

Had a fantastic experience at this hotel. We were staying with our in laws and our three small children. It all started with the first phone call to see if rooms were available for the upcoming weekend. The woman who took my call was extremely helpful in finding the best accommodations for us. We were able to get connected rooms to fit all of us comfortably.It s an older hotel, but the staff obviously takes pride in their work.My wife and the kids arrived an hour before me, and were able to check in and get settled in the room easily. All the staff we interacted with were phenomenal. It honestly felt like we were staying at someone s house.The woman working the front desk at breakfast both mornings was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We had our twin toddlers with us and she would see our need and help out before we even thought to ask. Breakfast was simple but perfect, waffle maker, 2 cereal options, bread and English muffins and toaster , peanut butter and jelly, yogurt, orange and apple juice, delicious coffee, muffins, granola bars, fruit cups.Overall we are very happy with our experience and would definitely stay again.

Only stayed one night at the Super 8. Was in town for a wedding. Things went pretty much as expected except for a few questionable blood stains on the sheets of the bed my brother slept on and a dirty washcloth was left in the bathroom. Other than that everything was good. Breakfast was pretty good for a motel as well. Staff seemed nice from the very little I talked to them.

Rooms were alright. Beds not great, there was a couple small blood stains on the sheets of one bed that were there when we checked in. And the sink was also not clean, splattered with something sticky. Breakfast was pretty good, rates were good, just could have been cleaner.

Suitable for a night's sleep. It isn't very expensive. The bed was relatively comfortable. Our room was quite small, there were whiskers in the sink and hair in the shower (not ours!). The bathroom needed a much better cleaning.

Always thought Super 8 was one of the better budget motels until our stay at the Super 8 in Milbank S.D. The room was cramped and had a definite unpleasant smell although it seemed clean enough. My husband took a shower in the evening and stated the bottom of the tub where the shower was located was very slippery since there was no skid tape to prevent falls and no hand rail to help assist if needed. He told me to be careful if I was going to take a shower. The next morning that is just what I did and low and behold I did slip and broke my fall with my elbow. My husband did report the incident to the front desk and they did inquire as to my well being. He suggested they resolve the issue so no one else would have an accident. He was told management would be informed. Just so everyone knows there is a disclaimer at the bottom of the room receipt under the guest signature that states the motel is not responsible for injury or accidents to guests. Let's hope this does not deter them from such a simple solution as putting in new skid tape and maybe a hand rail to show they do care about the safety of their guests.

The reason I stay here is because, they have truck parking, and the rates are reasonable for one night. And it's right off of 12 in SD. I think, when they built newer motels, they should have room for truck parking. Truck drivers, do need a place to shower, & a good nice quiet place to rest, without engine noise. And it would drum up the motel business, as long as they have Semi parking!

Coffee maker did not work. Clock turn on when I plugged in my cell phone. No safety bars in shower. Room clean. Bed comfy. It would be nice to have walk in showers.

Great, very clean, friendly young lady welcomed us, had our room all set up with a shower chair for my husband and all ahead of check in. Very comfy beds and great looking bed covers. Has not had breakfast yet but everything else is right outside our room.

Showed up at 2:30am on June 10, 2022 to get a room. After clicking on the computer for twenty minutes and repeatedly saying I don t know what is happening I was informed k needed to go find a room for my family somewhere else.I asked if I could get a room and we could deal with the computer problem in the morning. No heat in the room and then we called the front desk and she explained how to turn the heat on. She said it would be warmed up in about 10 minutes. 2 hours later it started to warm up and we woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Fix your heating system and when someone has a reservation turn the heat on ahead of time!!!!!!!

This is an okay place to stay, I mean the beds are fine it's just the floors are damp and it feels gross to walk on. I don't know what made it like that but just throwing it out there. And the toilets are tiny. It's wierd to sit on when it is that tiny. But other than that I guess it's ok.

Friendly staff. Room is relatively clean aside from not vacuuming. Room was very stale w smoke, could use some air and tapestry cleaning. Absolutely comfortable place to stay.

Fantastic Super 8. In town for a weekend long cont. ed course. Rooms were clean and the staff was great. Very courteous and you can't beat the prices. Would certainly recommend!

This is definitely one of the best Super 8 hotels I've stayed at. The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfy, and the TV was the perfect size for the room. Would stay again.

Even though I paid for the room and have both of the keys, the white woman that wasn't on duty when I bought the hotel was trying to throw me out of room with both keys just because it was an idea of someone else and she didn't see when I came in with that person with the ID and therefore I've been questioning to get my money back

The rooms were small, but very clean. Shower head needs to be much higher. Security is not great as the side door though noted it would lock was duct taped in open position.

Great staff, room was ok accept for broken arm on reclining chair, some hair in the bathtub drain.
