Absolutely one of the nicest hotels in the area. We stayed 6 nights in 2 different rooms, while we had our floors in our house redone. The rooms were spacious and clean. The service was excellent, especially the lady that ran the breakfasts. She kept track of every room to know if there were still rooms left to feed and waited til the last minute (sometimes a few minutes after the breakfast ended) before taking things down. Great personalities all around. Will be staying again!

As a frequent traveler, I cannot recommend this Comfort Inn enough! The check-in process was smooth and efficient, allowing us to settle into my comfortable and impeccably clean room in no time.The amenities provided exceeded our expectations, from the plush bedding to the refreshing shower and complimentary toiletries. The complimentary breakfast buffet offered various options as well!Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this Comfort Inn provides a welcoming and comfortable experience that is unparalleled. I would definitely return here on my next trip and highly recommend it to fellow travelers!

Staff was amazing, the room was cozy and temp was easily adjustable. The pillows don't get me started on how soft those were. The pool was a little colder than most, my two youngest struggled with the temperature of it. Also you could barely hear any of the other people staying in rooms adjacent to you.Rooms: High ceilings, good beds and nice lighting

6 stars for service... I was coming in very late and on very short notice... had trouble booking through Expedia because it was already passed midnight, but luckily Chance was there... He was so polite and helpful, even when I had spotty service and the call kept dropping while calling the hotel... I got there and he took care of everything for me and even recomended a great breakfast spot after helping me with my booking trouble He went above and beyond and made our stay that much better... give that man a raise

Just stayed there a few days ago and loved this hotel. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The room was a little on the smaller side, but the hot breakfast was awesome and just what we needed before heading out on our adventures!Nearby activities: Nearby downtown Keystone and 3 miles from Mt. Rushmore.

Beautiful building inside and outside! Nice clean crisp beddings and towels ! Very pleasant breakfast setting. So close to Mt. Rushmore Memorial . Will definitely return here Why only 4 stars? I informed front desk about the dirty toilet by the pool that someone else caused. 20 minutes later, I had to use it again but it was still smelly.

I would just like to personally thank the man at the front desk who is going above and beyond for guest satisfactory. We drove non stop from Oregon to Keystone and we got there pretty early and I thought we weren t able to check in, not only did he let us check in early but he let us have breakfast as well. Simple things like that in being honest with people and they understand your circumstances and they want to make it easier on you is just so nice.Also I didn t know I left my chargers in the hotel after we left but he called me himself to let me know, most people wouldn t do that.Simple acts of kindness go a long way!

We just stayed here over the weekend in a room with a kitchenette( which helped with food prep for our daughter with gluten issues, which to my surprise the free breakfast had gluten free options THANK YOU for that!) The room was quite roomy and allowed for our family of four to spread out. Everything was wonderful, friendly staff, clean and close to everything in Keystone!

What a fabulous location this is! We traveled during the off season end of April. Lots of food options were closed but the few that are open are some of the BEST we ve encountered! Julie the manager is AWESOME and helped us with an early checkout to be closer to the airport for departure. June who works in the kitchen for breakfast is fun to chat with and lovely!Rooms: The cleanliness of the room was fabulous. Microwave & small fridge available.Nearby activities: Virtual reality arcade, bowling, family arcade. Mount Rushmore, Jewel Cave .the possibilities are endless!Walkability: Very close walking distance to family arcade, shops & food!Food & drinks: Coffee all day in the lobby. Full breakfast available. For dinner we HIGHLY suggest Cruizzers down the street!!!!! 10/10Noteworthy details: The lobby is one of a kind here!

After I had checked out and was back on the road I realized that I had left some expensive jewelry on the bathroom counter. I called the hotel in a panic. I alerted them to my mistake. The front desk checked for the jewelry, and had it waiting for me when I pulled in. They were great. The manager even helped me with the necklace since my hands were shaky from the experience. Their names were Cassie & John. When I thanked them, they told me it was their pleasure. I truly believe that they meant it - gold star experience!!

We were here for a vacation with the family. the rooms were very nice and clean. our kids were a little loud so it was nice to be on the end. The kids really enjoyed the pool but it was very very cold. there was plenty of parking though i can expect it to be really tight during the summer months.the breakfast was really good and had a ton of options for even the most picky of our eaters. they had Create-your-own waffle, yogurt, muffins, bagels, english muffins, eggs, biscuits and gravy, juice, eggs, and bacon. we certainly ate our fill before heading out for the day.the staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. the location of the hotel was nice and within walking distance of a lot of things in Keystone.we would stay here again.

Stayed here twice (on way out and way back on trip). Desk staff was very friendly and the lobby is pretty. My main complaint is that I'm chemically sensitive and whatever cleanser they are using in the bathroom is OVER THE TOP. Even my normie hubby can't stand it and we have to keep the bathroom door tightly shut during our entire stay in order for me to tolerate being in the room. There are natural, more organic cleaners available that are effective.

Beautiful hotel located close to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse & other attractions. Easy walking distance to shopping & restaurants. Friendly staff. Delicious buffet breakfast. Only downfall was low water pressure in the shower. Nearby activities: Close to all attractions & within walking distance to shopping & restaurants!!!

I wish that we could have stayed longer! Everything was easy, parking, room check-in, breakfast in the morning, and check out.We had two beds and a pullout .everything was comfortable, clean, and perfect for our family.I love that it was in keystone and very close to mount rushmore. The town looked fun to walk through but unfortunately we didn't have time. We will be back again.

Surprisingly nice hotel. Room was clean. Bed was fairly comfortable. The free breakfast is excellent and the breakfast attendant is extremely nice. 100% recommend staying here.A snack machine in the hotel would be nice, since keystone closes down at 8 every night.

We had one of the newly-renovated rooms which was quiet and comfortable. They are not providing stay-over service at present (end of April 2022) due to staffing issues. Breakfast was nice with standard fare. They do need more tables for breakfast at times. We liked not being on the main road where a lot of the other places to stay are in Keystone. Do not park on the street as you will get ticketed (per their staff).

We had a great experience at this hotel. Not only was the location ideal for walking Keystone and visiting Rushmore but what set this hotel apart from the any we have been to on our trip was the staff. The woman working in the breakfast area went out of her way to bring more cereal options to our 5 year old and the grounds keeper came and offered to take the luggage cart back inside for us after we loaded our vehicle. Both of these examples are small but made a big impact on our experience.

We had two rooms and we thought this place was great. Comfortable beds, quiet, and great location, we liked that it was off the main drag but close by which made it more quiet. We had a small issue with our room, we stopped by the front desk and the gentleman took care of it right away. We would definitely stay here again.
