My son and his family slid into the median and were stuck. When I found out that they were told three hours after already being in the median for two hours, I called Shads and they were there within an hour. Very friendly and responsive, I highly recommend them.

Steve at Shad's towing was A LIFE SAVER! We were over 400 miles from home and our starter went out after we visited the Badlands. We had work scheduled the next day in anticipation of being home on schedule. He went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Not only did he tow us, but he diagnosed the issue VERY quickly, let us use a loaner car of his to get the part we needed AND installed the part once we arrived back to his shop! Mind you it was nearing 10:00 pm by the time we got back to town with the part. I don't know anyone that would have helped out the way he so graciously did. His kindness, expertise and professionalism is not something you find every day. It's safe to say Steve is one in a million and I could not recommend him enough! We made it back in time to catch all our scheduled work appointments and we owe it to Shad's Towing! Thank you so very much!

We were in a tricky situation last night where our Tesla car battery was over consuming and led to the car battery and onboard12V battery completely drained. AAA wasn't able to find us any towing near Wall, SD that had flatbed trucks available but did say they'd refund the tow if I was able to find one.I called a number of places that were either too far out or didn't have a flatbed available for us. I found Shad's Towing on Google and he said he'd be able to help! He gave me a ballpark estimate including miles incurred and the tow fee that was reasonable.Made it out to my location on I-90 and got me towed to the Electrify America chargers there. The car wouldn't disengage the brakes and go back into 'Tow Mode' due to the dead 12V that runs the computer/electronics. He called for reinforcement to bring us the jumper cables we'd need and socket to remove the bolts where the battery is located.This whole ordeal took 4+ hours with all of the extra hassle!As the customer (with our 5yo son with me):- I was treated with professionalism and an incredible amount of understanding/patience- The family member that had to come with the cable and sockets was extremely empathetic- They both went so far beyond expectation in making sure we were good to go before leaving- The price estimate that was given to me on the phone was the one charged after all the extra troubleI will remember this level of care and customer-first focus not soon to be forgotten.Highly recommend Shad's and extremely thankful I found his info!

Our driver,Steve, was great! We hit a deer on the highway and were stranded for 20 hours because we had been told that another service, Olsen towing, was on the way. They never showed up and when I called them they told me they had decided to decline the job. My phone battery was low, it was 90 outside and my car battery had completely died so no AC. I called Shad's towing and they had a truck out to pick us, our luggage our giant dog and our car up within an hour of calling them. Our driver Steve dropped us off at the car rental office so we could get a vehicle and be on our way. He even stopped at a gas station on the way there because my wife was feeling sick from the car accident we had been in. We were so impressed with the service provided that I felt I had to recommend them and hopefully give anyone else in need a recommendation that they can feel confident about. To sum it up, Shads towing won't leave you stranded on the side of the highway and Olsen's towing will.

I was stranded on Highway 14 (I believe that was the highway) and I blew an RV tire. I felt like I was actually in the middle of nowhere. I was two hours away from any town that could provide service to me. Thankfully I have roadside assistance but they had a very difficult time finding someone to go that far out to help me. The first 4 companies that "accepted" the call later stood me up. I sat on the side of the highway for almost 10 hours when the very kind gentleman from Shad's came to my rescue. He arrived at 11:15pm and work diligently to remove the spare on had on the back of the RV. I had sat for so long with the generator running I had nearly run out of gas. This man was concerned enough he was worried I would break down again and said I could follow him an extra hour out of his way to be sure I found gas. He looked at the lugs again to be sure I was safe to continue my travels another 2 1/2 hours to destination. I can't say thank you enough!!! He even had a woman working with him which also helped me feel secure. GOOD JOB!!Wendy W.

Dustin and Brian were awesome. I was two hours from Rapid City and I thought I had some bigger issues and would have to be towed all the way but when Dustin got there he said it s just the tire after all. They put on my spare (a full tire) and sent me on my way. Really thankful for them and for them saving me from being towed all the way to Rapid City.

I and a partner drove from Minnesota to pick up an abandoned car that Steve from Shad s towing had brought in and left at the Gas and Go in Kadoka SD. He notified our car dealership that the car was there. Steve was busy so we were going to load it but the battery was dead. The nice lady manager of the Gas and Go brought her car over and provided jumper cables to get the car started so we could back it onto our flatbed.Thank you Steve (Shad s Towing) and Gas and Go manager.

Top notch service. The owner personally went out of his to help me like people these days don't do. I and my family greatly appreciated your help and understanding with keeping us moving down the highway! Couldn't have did it without your help. #1 towing company in the state I wouldn't recommend anyone else!
