My mother & little sister and daughter went to the dollar store and the cashier named Michael was very rude to my mom and sister and daughter.. they asked about bathroom and he yelled at my mom and said am I going to give you a different answer from what he said !! Bad customer service!!!

I think it is really disrespectful to have a certain time taped on the door and not be open when that time says. This store needs to do better. It s ridiculous how many times this store has been closed and shut down, and there is a plethora of customers who need to shop but gets turned away every time they get out their cars. This town is very busy and the people who work and live here depend on you because other stores are way to expensive. Please do better!!!!

If I could I would give it 0 stars. We drove 40 miles to get there just to find a sign on the door saying the hours where 8-1 and 5-10 so we killed a hour in a little town with nothing to do. 5 roles around and no doors open at 5:10 a nice guy walks over from a dollar general truck and told us the where closed and not opening that they just came in to unload the truck . Why didn't they not put a closed sign in the door? So our only option was to go to a little town grocery store where everything costs way more. After get that grocery bill I'm so upset and want to cry.

Drove from the country to find a sign called to ask about the store hours they said they don't know sounded bored. Update Oct 2 closed again odd hours

Not open, 1:55 pm closed, what the heck! Is this a little known thing about South Dakota, Dollar General Stores are closed on Sunday!

Its not all that often that I'm in town, however, 9 times out of 10 this location isn't open when its suppose to be. Today for example. The sign clearly says 8 am to 4 pm. Its after 1 pm and the only one there is the supply truck. Im sure the driver waiting around to be unloaded is about as enthused as I am.

The Kadoka SD site is a sight. Tubs of product in the isles, no order to the items on the shelves, so hard to navigate to get to items to purchase, never enough staff to stock and check people out and very uncomfortable shopping. Sorry to report this. Sale items are never marked so do not know for sure what is on sale and what is not.The sign by the Higgwau is never lit at night, so not sure that is open. Which it is closed before closing time some, too.Love the fact that we have the Dollar General here. Hope you can do something to make it appealing to shop.Thank you.

8:15 no one at store !! Should be open at 8 my experience was none! If store opens 8 someone should be there!

Very messy, disorganized. Work environment there seems very poor along with management. People trying to get a job here, a warning if the manager doesn't like you they will fire and/or will not hire you! Need new management definitely.

Store is closed at random times throughout the day. Lights all on but doors locked. Watched the milk delivery truck drive away today because whoever was working left. Cluttered, dirty, disappointing.

Store claimed to open at 8 wanted to grab a few items before leaving town and got there at 8:05 doors were locked not a single car around and checked back a few minutes later after getting gas and same result

This place never has any frozen food or refrigerated food available, the coolers are always empty. Someone needs to address the issue.

Dollar General stores are a microcosm... the ones that look great, are well ran with good management... If they look terrible? Like this one? Terrible managers

This is a good place to buy things but it's always so crowded with things that need to be stocked. It's hard to get down the aisle with boxes stacked everywhere.

Very helpful, the only place open in Kadoka on labor day. Could use some more bread though, they were out.

Its okay because after spending $40 I needed a box top from the box bin in the rear of the store and this fat rude woman screamed at me about going in the recycling bin I yelled back at her not to be mean I'm just looking for a box top to sign my direction on the entrance ramp I won't go back EVER

Go here for your badlands supplies instead of the badlands exit. Cheaper and wider selection of food/goods.
