Would highly recommend! We have purchased two vehicles from Star Motors and couldn't be happier. We first purchased a truck, and because of the excellent customer service, we returned to Star Motors when looking for a second car.Adam's friendly assistance in finding what we wanted and excellent service will keep us coming back and recommending him to friends and family!

Adam will show you all of his inventory. Most vehicles are stolen recovered and auctioned. He will do anything to help you find the right truck for you in his inventory or search for what you are looking for. He has highly skill people helping him get things just the way Adam wants it which is perfection. Most vehicle are low milage and prices them right. He is amazing to work with I recommend checking his inventory out.

Adam is awesome! You won t have to worry about adversarial or manipulative sales tactics with this family business. Adam s philosophy: source only quality, value vehicles with no rust, thoroughly inspect them and do whatever is necessary to ensure they are in tip-top, including replacing all fluids pre-sale, and sell them at reasonable prices. He is honest and personable. Great buying experience, and had just what I needed (Toyota T100 truck).

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a Buick LeSabre from Star Motors, and I can't express enough how satisfied I am with the entire experience. From the moment I stepped onto the lot to the moment I drove away in my new car, every interaction with this dealership was top-notch.I have to commend the owner, Adam, for his professionalism and honesty throughout the entire process. It's not every day that you come across a car dealer who genuinely cares about the needs and preferences of their customers. Adam took the time to understand my requirements and provided insightful recommendations that ultimately led me to the perfect vehicle.

I found a truck that STAR MOTORS SOUTH DAKOTA had for sale. I am in Southern California 1700 miles away. I sent a email for more information and Adam responded. He promptly sent me all the information on the truck along with the CAR FAX report and pictures. As I was very interested in the truck I contacted a ASE certified mechanic to go and look over the truck. The mechanics reported his findings to me and they were exactly as Adam had represented to me. This represented the integrity and trustworthiness of Adam and STAR MOTORS. Adam went above and beyond what most car sales people would do. He made the transaction very easy to complete even being 1700 miles away. Adam made the delivery very easy. He personally arranged to drive the truck to Phoenix for me to pick up. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from STAR MOTORS.

Adam drove a Toyota out to my house in Twin cities since he was free that day, find any dealer that would do that!!!!! Best dealership in the area!!!!

Very shady business. Overpriced vehicles. Some of the reviews posted here are similarly worded so take them with a grain of salt. They threaten customers who point out bad things. Stay away.Edit:Owner responded and claims I am someone I am not. Weird. Whoever it is they seem to be very paranoid about them.

I can't say enough good things about Adam at Star Motors...Adam is great to deal with and with, I've purchased several vehicles now, and I'm always very happy with my deals from him. He is very easy to deal with., And will go out of his way to please you.

Adam is great at what he does and it reflects his image with Star Motors. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. He is true to his work, and the car I purchased has far exceeded my expectations. He is a family man before a salesman, which is refreshing when buying a vehicle. Through word of mouth I have recommended him to people I work with, family. This was truly a A+ car buying experience. I love my Toyota Camry!

The best Car Dealership we have been to.. We are extremely happy with our purchase.. All his vehicles were rust free and very clean! Adam and his family were kind and accommodating!! We will definitely be back and have told everyone about our experience! He is the most honest and trustworthy Car dealer!!!

I am extremely happy with my purchase from Adam. He was very straight up and honest with me. His inventory has to be the best in Brookings. Not a lot of vehicles just quality. I don't think they would sell a car or truck unless they themselves were willing to drive it. I would definitely recommend anybody to check it out. I will be getting my next ride from them for sure. Unfortunately it won't be for a long time because I believe I have one fantastic truck right now!! Thank you Adam!

Was told a car was in 100% mint condition and drove an hour to see it. Car ended up having rust even though he said it was 100% rust free, it also had many chips and a couple dents. The driver side seat belt also did not click in! He then later on told me to shut my mouth when telling him I didn t like the car because I was told it was in mint condition but ended up having many cosmetic issues! Would absolutely never recommend dealing with Adam to buy a vehicle!

They are extremely rude! They tell you one thing and then say something completely different the next time you talk to them. Definitely the worst dealer in town. Would not recommend buying anything from them. Take your money and time else where.

I had a great experience with star motors, Adam went out of his way and had a nice selection of rust free trucks, which he hand picks out. The vehicle I bought had been gone through, fluids changed etc, and it is running strong 6 months later.

Talked to Adam on several occasions and made the deal to purchase and pick up a truck, drove three plus hours and called Adam at a half an hour prior to arrival, and he sold it out from under us. No phone call received from him. Wasted our time and money in gas. Not a trustworthy company and will never recommend. Buyer beware.

I couldn t/wouldn t recommend this place for anybody. He sold me a car with a bad transmission and he knew it. Now I have to pay for the repairs myself. He s a hell of a sales person but be very careful. He s like a snake in the grass. He says one thing and does another!!

If you want to be treated with respect and get a fair deal, go anywhere else. Only have 3 vehicles and they were all overpriced.
