Tim and the crew at Allstate Peter built are life savers. Helped me get my trailer fixed as I was going cross-country. Could not have made it without their help. Can't say enough good things about Tim and the crew and the best in class service they provide!

Recently I needed help with a diesel fuel contamination issue. I brought my Mercedes Sprinter 3500 RV in but arrived just as the shop was closing. I was able to talk with the service manager, Tom, who despite the hour was willing to stay and help me. He and a technician, Patrick, quickly resolved the problem. BothTom and Patrick were great. The guys went above and beyond given it was time to quit for the day. Simply put, their willingness to go the extra mile saved me at least a couple of days of down time. They were exceptionally accommodating and pleasant. I absolutely recommend them regardless of the problem. There guy s are great and really made the difference for me.

Everyone there is great! Tom and his crew stayed on top of our repairs and kept us informed every step of the way! It may have taken us a few days to get back on the road due Paccar and their **** process, but Tom, Tim and Martin were great and went above and beyond for us..Thank you to all of them!

They got me right in no waiting.Had a bad sensor. On the downside they didn't have one on hand.They overnight on in and installed it 10 minutes after it arrived. The technician was very knowledgeable and prompt with his service

Had a nightmare issue with some wiring, Tim and Patrick were awesome but Martin got it figured out for me. Can't say enough about the way they take care of their customers. Thanks again fellas. You too Tom lol

My company had one of our trucks break down in South Dakota on its way back up to Alaska, and these guys took amazing care of us. When the truck finally made it back north, the remanufactured rear end that was installed failed, and Thomas the service manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled. He got a new rear end shipped up here, and got us a refund for all the labor as well. I would strongly recommend this shop to everyone.

I really appreciate Allstate Peterbilt in Rapid City. I was having what was looking like major (possibly overhaul/ rebuild) issues. Their mechanics are not just parts replacing code readers , but true troubleshooting mechanics. Instead of rebuilding first and finding lessor issue later, they went extra steps and found the least likely culprit, saving me $30k. Austin was great with my truck!On top of that they were so accommodating to see I got to a nearby hotel and when I needed to fly home for a few days, Tim their service manager took me 12 miles one way to the airport in his own pickup. Wouldn t take a dime for gas. You have to appreciate folks like this.But again they are a very capable service center. Highly recommend!

Arrived with check engine light and derate message. It was Friday, 1 hour from closing time. Technician came out after check in and diagnosed with the computer. After making sure the sensor I needed was in their inventory , I was scheduled for Monday at 0700 for repair. (They are closed on the weekend). Arrived Monday morning when gate opened, repair was made and I was back on the road by late morning. Very friendly staff.Good coffee and quiet drivers lounge. Mechanic did pop in and gave progress report Midway through repair. Great service.

The service manager was very professional and so were the mechanics there. Very fair price and HONEST compared to a lot of the other diesel mechanics I ve come across. We blew our engine and went to this peterbilt. They are the best peterbilt we have ever been to they had our truck for about 6 weeks total putting in a new engine transmission new batteries and a few other misc things we added. They kept us informed of everything. We had all this done back in Oct-Nov 2022. Fast forward to March 2023 they have to called to make sure everything is running great and make sure we are happy with our choice. Service was helpful and accommodating to my issue. I sort of knew where the issue was and we were able to visually confirm. Would have had repair done there, although part wasn't available, as it was a Friday and wouldn't have had it until Monday. I would recommend their service.

Allstate Service Department got us in a day earlier than expected and got the truck fixed right up. They also worked with us to get a tough issue diagnosed and we will definitely be back for more work with our trucks. Thanks to Tim and the crew in Service.

Excellent service. The final bill came less than the initial estimate which in itself was less than what I was expecting. The diagnosis was spot on. I forgot the name of the guy who helped me, his office was behind the reception desk in the Service building. Thank you.

Got me in when they could as I just showed up with a typical 579 issue without a phone call Looked at it and ordered the sensor for overnight delivery. Called me as soon as it arrived. Back up and moving within 45 minutes. Unfortunately the sensor went out again the next day. Definitely not allstates fault. New Petes are garbage.

Great staff and a fantastic service department, took me in even though they were fully booked and got me back on the road in just a couple of days! The prices were good too! This was after my truck spent a week in a different shop in town that didn t fix the problem. Thank you Allstate Peterbilt!

If I could give a zero star I would. Coded for throttle position sensor. Without testing the sensor they replaced the entire assembly and taped up some wear spots in the harness. Issue came back. They looked at it again but couldn t recreate the issue. Code came back. In 30 minutes me and our shop mechanic were able to locate the area causing the problem and fix it with a little electrical cleaner and dielectric grease.They killed one set of batteries failing to turn the APU back on and nearly killed 4 more brand new ones failing again to turn the APU back on after being told multiple times.Peterbilt cost: nearly $6,000. Charging $120 each time for shop supplies (some zip ties and electrical tape).Our cost: half hour of labor, 50 cents worth of tape, electrical cleaner and dielectric grease on the harness plug to the firewall.If it were me I would sue for incompetence.

Tom in service is fake news and the female is incompetent. Was told two weeks ago that my truck would be in the shop this week. I called today and now they re saying probably next week. Every time it s another excuse from this Tom guy. Get the truck done!

As with many industries, time is money. It rings true more so in the trucking industry than any other I can think of. The folks here are by far, some of the best I've dealt with. Had my clutch go out on me, 120 miles away in the middle of nowhere. Limped it in to Rapid City, and took it to Allstate. Tim in service was nothing short of extraordinary. Got me in right away, even drove me to a hotel where I've stayed while work is being completed. Called and asked if I could catch a taxi to my truck, to retrieve a couple items that I needed, and he sent someone to pick me up! Not only that, he gave me the keys to one of their company pick up trucks, to use while work is being done. Breaking down sucks, no doubt. But it's great to see that some folks realize how stressful it is to a driver, and go the extra yard to accommodate. Wish there were more companies like this. A1!

The entire staff was friendly and willing to help.Their main concern was getting me back on the road, not charging me ridiculous money and making me wait all day.By far the best experience I ve had at any dealership in the country!

Good people. Broke down and needed a part in overnight. The part didnt make it because of UPS or Fed Ex weather delays. They took a part off a new truck to get us rolling and avoided a 3 day weekend. Helped to make us and our customers very happy. Good Work.

Great customer service, Tim, the service writer was informant and helpful. They got us in the shop and got our AC running again. The tech who sorked on our truck knew what he was doing and exactly how to diagnose our problem. Good shops are hard to find. Thanks.

This place is open until 10 PM! I stopped by to get a part I needed on a Friday after every other dealer was closed for the weekend. They have a lot of other parts and accessories too. Great place to stop.

I had fallen and was afraid to climb up on my cat walk to change a airline cause im handicapped but still try to be productive.I bought the line at parts(Treated very well) and walked over to service they wanted 120.00....It gave me courage to do it myself try and 5 min I'm done....Pure greed is why I gave the bad rating..
