These guys are amazing!! Alvin and Cameron rescued my boyfriend and I from an awful situation, and got us back on the road again. These guys are incredibly talented, and super nice to boot. True masters of their craft, I will recommend them time, and time again! Thanks so much guys!

Highly recommend Plains Towing! We had a tire blow out on Hwy 212 by Hammond, MT and after trying to coordinate a tow with State Farm and Hyundai AAA for 5 hours they not only had a very pleasant dispatcher that was more helpful than anyone else we dealt with to this point, the driver Lamar reached out to us as soon as he got the call to let us know how long it would take him to get there. We were 11 hours from our destination in Columbia Falls, Montana and 12 hours from home in Iowa without a spare due to brilliant car manufacturers thinking that a spare tire was a not necessary feature. Lamar arrived when he told he would be there and loaded our SUV safely and quickly to get us off the side of the road. He was knowledgeable, kind and professional. We will are very grateful for the nicest guy we could have been sent to help us out. Kiddos Plains for hiring an amazing first responder!

Excellent service they got there faster than any roadside service I ve ever had big shout out to Tyler for providing excellent service and he took me to a hotel after dropping my truck off at the Kenworth dealer.

Towed my Pete after I was in an accident. Got it hooked up and down the road and gave me a ride to a hotel. Made having a truck thats smashed up 8 hours from home a lot less stressful than it could have been. Great guys to deal with.

If i could rate 0 stars I would. Last night we just needed to get pulled out of a hole. Took less than 5 minutes. Got charged 320 dollars or the vehicle was going to get impounded. Had to have someone come and bring money.

After 1.5 miles tow of truck n trailer to their yard the sat for 4 days the storage bills were doubled w bs charges to almost $5,000. You go figure . The average would be $900 to $1,200.I never gotten rob till I called these folks. Don't let them rob you too!

To say I was impressed is an understatement! This company and the young kid that came out to tow our RV 67 miles back to Belle Fourche so we could get a new tire and fix a hose- WOW! Professional, knowledgeable, kind, genuine, and just overall exactly what you hope a business will be and so often, is not. I recommend these cats for any and all services needed!!I am, generally, hard to please so when I say these cats are the best- I mean they are the best!Now back up, we were out by Hammond Montana when are inside rear passenger tire blew and blew a hole in our coolant line. Stranded in the middle of no where, no one for miles, I couldn t get AAA on the phone and I was about to flip my lid! I called the sheriff dept and they gave me PTR towing. I called them and within a couple hours they were out to save us!! . The kid that came was just great!!!! He changed the spare and hooked us up to the wrecker and off to Belle Fourche we went! While on the drive he proceeded to explain where we needed to go to get help and even showed us as we drove into the town. Once we got to the destination he continued to make sure we were safe and knew what to do the next morning. He went over and beyond what he needed to and we GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!!Again, I recommend PTR to anyone and everyone who needs their services

They charged Me double because they pulled my trailer, these people are moraly bankrupt. 1300 fo 78 miles. Good luck, I do not recommend theses people , I called and confronted the owner and he simply said sorry that's how we do it. I did 5he same tow 100 miles for 700 dollars 7 months ago not more then 500 miles from here. These people are the wrong type of people to do business with. All these positive reviews are from weirdos who have no experience in the industry moter homes ect. Iv done this job 27 years these people are roadside robbers.

This company was very professional. They were helpful with getting our tipped trailer upright and towed back to town. They were extremely helpful the next day with helping us make sure the hitch, safety chains, and lights were working. Assisted us by letting us use one of their sockets to fix what we needed. This guys are AWESOME!!! We had to have our truck and trailer towed. What could have been a nightmare and uncomfortable situation turned into a great experience. They were beyond professional, caring, and kind. What could have been a weird hour long ride turned into easy conversation. These guys TRULY care about people and their welfare. I wouldn t recommend ANYONE else. If we could give 10 stars we would....good job Plains... ...you guys make a difference!

Top notch folks! Rescued our uhaul from the blizzard drama and helped us get stuff move over to our new one! We re more than helpful getting updates on our vehicle even though they had a number of other vehicles and folks to deal with.

We were stranded after hitting a deer and Andy came to our rescue. It was 90 degrees and I had two small children in the car. He was outstanding, as we headed to the town with the nearest rental car company he even asked my kids if they need a drink or a restroom! Above and beyond!Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Couldn t have asked for better!! Andy and brendon were so sweet! We had a flat, they gave us rides to and from a hotel, service was phenomenal. Even gave us some very helpful life advice. They saved our vacation.

Our brand new truck broke down near Mount Rushmore on a Friday. Ford roadside sent out Olson Towing and they were able to tow our truck but could not accommodate our camper and my family of 5. We called Plains on Saturday morning and the owner came out and thankfully took all of us, including our travel trailer, to Gillette, WY. They had the best rates and by far, the best service. Al even dropped my husband off at the Ford dealer and then took us to a campground where he got us all set up. Super thankful to have used them, especially under our unique circumstance. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We were in Wyoming when we hit a deer on our way back to Minnesota. John came to get us, our 4 dogs, and our crushed vehicle. He was patient and kind with allowing us to get as much stuff out of our car as we could grab while bringing us to a hotel. When we arrived back to Minnesota, we contacted John again to see our options for retrieving the rest of our belongings out of our car. John went through our damaged car (at our request) and retrieved our belongings and sent them to us so we didn't have to make the 10 hour drive back. Excellent service!! Would definitely recommend.7/29/18 Had a blowout & no spare while traveling in South Dakota. We were broken down in the middle of nowhere at least 40 minutes from the nearest town. PTR worked seamlessly with our insurance company s road side assistant program and arrived with cold water and an immediate concern for our safety. Even with the Sturgis rally only days away and early riders in full force John with PTR made it to our location within the hour. It was Sunday, so despite all his efforts to help us find a tire (a specialized size)within a hundred mile radius for our car it wasn t possible. He ended up having to tow us and our BMW back to North Dakota over 210 miles (a six-hour turnaround for him). John was professional, courteous and friendly which made our 3 � hour ride outstandingly easy. We had great conversations, made good time even through a wicked thunderstorm and John was super accommodating any time we needed to stop. Thanks again to John and PTR for everything!!

I was really pleased with the towing of my near new pickup. Your man named Kyle was pleasant, courteous, efficient and was careful with my pickup. If I had a Rolls Royce that needed towing, I'd have no hesitation in calling and would request Kyle. I would recommend them to anybody.

Short story long, I had to recover on a truck that broke down in the middle of SD, an area I'm not familiar with and have zero contacts. Our freight had to get to MT asap and how grateful I am that I called PTR. From the start, Alvin was professional and honest. He offered me a "save the day" solution. His drivers, Kyle and James were fantastic. Their communication was on point and I was able to sleep last night knowing my freight was in good hands. PTR said what they did and did what they said. To me, honesty and integrity are the two most important qualities in business, and unfortunately, they're hard to come by in the trucking/transportation world. PTR exemplifies both! If you get in a sticky situation out in SD call these guys. You'll be glad you did! Thank you PTR.

Per my google search for 'towing' in Spearfish, these guys were 3rd down... likely because of my search location. The first company wasn't available until the next day. The second company didn't answer. Plains answered, and arrived at a specified time. Got me out super quick, provided a text receipt, and suggested I contact insurance for reimbursement, which my insurance did. Great company, I will definitely use again. Recommended.

I was stuck at a Conoco Gas Station/Mart in SD about 2000 miles from home. He showed up very quickly once I got the Progressive mess sorted out. $80 and he even found me a cheap motel near Black Hills Auto Care. He was the owner of the towing company. Very honest man.

These guys bailed me out big time! Got my pickup stuck while hunting in Montana well off the beaten path and they came to the rescue. Kyle and Evan get two big thumbs up for having awesome attitudes and knowing what their equipment is capable of. Thank you guys so much!

It was 100 degrees, I lost all my coolant, I had phoned every repair shop in the area and for one reason or another they couldn't do a road call. The lady I spoke to at Plains,said they weren't sure if they could assist me , but she sent a fellow out to see what could be done. In less than an hour I was rolling again. I can't thank Plains Towing and Rescue enough for helping me.

I would highly recommend going with another towing company even if it costs more. This company towed my rv negligently and did not follow their standard procedure. If you know anything at all about towing large vehicles you know that you have to take the drive shaft out before towing. They did not remove the drive shaft and we had to completely replace the transmission. After doing their job wrong and irresponsibly, they were rude, disrespectful, and condescending when I asked them about knowing this procedure. They even admitted they didn't do their job right and still continued to treat me like I was wrong and stupid. They refused to help us with anything, fought us to no end, and even went behind our back to talk to the mechanic to try and get them on their side. The most unprofessional and horrible service I have ever recieved in my entire life. How can they even be considered to be professional when they don't know rule one about towing - the one and only thing they do?
