Originally had internet service through NRCTV, ended up stuck with NVC when they took over the service. Speeds routinely were routinely 1/50 of advertised speeds when it wasn't dropping signal entirely, burning out equipment, or ending up with entire reels of cable hung on the outside of our house. Hoping things would get better with eventual switch to fiber, except given extremely vague time-frames. Paying a higher price for internet service considerably worse than what I received from NRCTV twenty years earlier wouldn't be tolerable if they weren't the only service available in the area. Hoping the fiber optic is set up eventually and isn't as mediocre as the current internet, otherwise going to switch to Starlink just to get internet faster than dial-up.Update: Contacted customer service, was told they would finish installing fiber sometime between this September and next year in April, otherwise I just have to deal with their fixed wireless that is only usable in the middle of the night. The single option in rural areas is entirely unsuitable for anyone attempting to work from home or use anything like telemedicine, and their only option is to just deal with it until they possibly fix it.

I changed internet providers in June and asked at that time how it would affect my email. I was told it would not affect it! Then in December my email quit working with NO notice! NOW I am told there would be a charge to keep my email account but there is no way to recover lost messages! Do you know how hard it is to change your email account on everything-most want to send a verification code to . MY EMAIL-that I have NO access to. Now nothing works. I feel like I am chasing my tail trying to get my bills paid and access anything on line. A little notice would have been nice NVC but NO just 1 day NOTHING! I am very frustrated!

not a bad internet company, they had some good promotions at the time so i thought i d sign up. i m only on month two so i can t say this is the best review to go off of but so far i ve had no problems and i love the auto pay i don t even have to contact them ever unless i m having issues.

We have had NVC for several years. The past two we have gotten terrible Internet and very low tech support. We were excited when over a year ago they were putting a pipe under our driveway for fiber optic but nothing ever came. We were sent a flyer that it was coming but it is just a loose empty pipe in the ditch for well over a year. Our Internet we do have goes down 5-6 times a night, and is usually under 10mbps when we have purchased the highest we can for our area. When we try to contact their tech support we get nothing back. I have been very disappointed with a company that I used to recommend to everyone.

We had a tree go down in the neighborhood which knocked out our power. This also took the NVC system box. We called to notify NVC we had lost TV, phone, and internet. We had a ticket opened Saturday at 4:00. We personally were able to get the TV and phone working but no internet. I work from home and need internet service to perform my job. On Sunday we contacted them again and were informed someone would show up Monday when the office opened. Not sure how no one can be on call when these days individuals are working from. Very disappointed with their service. Will now need to take a day off work because they would not send someone out to take a look. The NVC tech stopped and I must say he was above and beyond in customer service. Because of him the rating went from a 1 star to a 5 star!!! He truly understands what it means to be in customer service. Sadly, we did not catch his name. But kudos to him

The staff was great. A little sad that it only has 3 cell phones to choose from and that we have to wait a week to get them because they dont have them on hand

These guys were really good, and flexible, when it came to the installation, and they did nice work. And by the way, I have really good up and down speeds since the installation.

We had service in Faulkton and it was offline intermittently constantly. Customer service was slow, told me the dewpoint was impacting our service. It was off/on so much you gave up trying to stream TV or use internet.

Since we got switched to fiber everything's been perfect, no problems. Customer service is great!!

Honestly I only had their service because I believed it to be better than nothing now I know that simply turning my phone into a hot spot would have been better internet.

Internet is very slow, sometimes can barely watch netflix. Connection very spotty, disconnects alot. Overpriced for the slow, spotty internet you receive
