These people took my car without explaining to me the fees included in holding my car overnight. Service is horrible. My insurance charged me $1 to use them as a tow service but because the place they were taking it to did not have a drop box which was totally not my fault, they decided to store my car on their yard. The lady who actually towed my vehicle just said that we will bring it to the place Monday when they are open . That was the last I heard from them. Nobody called me about charges about anything. I would ve not let them keep my car even 1 night if they gave me the option but there was no option given. Now they are trying to charge me $600 to get it off their yard. This is obscured, idk which lady I dealt with for dispatching but she was extremely rude and didn t explain anything to me regarding the fees associated with keeping my car. Get rid of her. I feel finessed and taken advantage of and the lord himself will deal with this business on his timing. Stay away from these people if you can.Service: Car towing

My experience with this company was very poor, as I would have assigned it a rating of zero stars if possible; enduring a frustrating wait of 1.5 hours for my car to be towed, coupled with subpar customer service, left me thoroughly dissatisfied.

@12 I was called after my insurance scheduled S.T.A.T and was told an ETA of 1.5hr. I had 2cars in front of me. After 2.5 hrs I contacted my insurance and they gave me an hour eta due to stat having a delay. Approximately an hour after that I called stat and was told they would possibly get to my car @6pm. Stacy told me they have a pick up in irmo, Columbia, Lexington, then me !!!! Not sure if this how they regularly do business but that s not right. Bonus point . After I cancel the service with Stacy . My insurance said the company said they couldn t locate my car and that they were at my location. Had to get paid for great service right!?!?!?

My niece's car broke down and she was stranded an hour from my home. I called Smith's and Edward was able to get her car safely picked up. He eased our minds completely and she was on her way home in no time. Thank you!

My family has been using Smiths since they were just a small one man show trying to get the business off the ground. Over the years they have grown and expanded. Check engine light came on and code said O2 sensor, took it to Edward and the guys got me fixed up right away. Sensor was bad so I had to return but they fixed that super fast and I was back on the road. (Sensors are just bad sometimes, no fault of the shop at all.) Also got my tires rotated and oil changed, I could not say enough about Edward, Angel, and Katrina, and the guys. They all work super hard. Edward has always been true to his word and the community is grateful to have him and his family. He was the sponsor to my daughters community soft ball team last year. Truly a great guy all around to serve our community! Thanks again for all the help!

8yrold locked her daddy's keys in our Silverado, less than an hour was at our house and very reasonable price..thanks Edward,now 2023 at new spot beside independent. Had my oil change awesome staff as always and got me in and out. Will also pick and drop vehicles off. Professional and reasonable price

I needed a tow yesterday, was told it will be smith's towing. I couldn't have had a more enjoyable experience. Edward was on time, friendly, cordial and all around nice person. I would highly recommend Edward's business to my family and friends. Keep up the exceptional work Edward.

Mitchell fixed several problem and Katrina kept in constant contact with me as far as what he found and the cost of each problem. I was so grateful that they were able to fix all of my issues and even dropped my car off at my job so I would not have to find a ride to get me there.

My truck was messed up wouldn't stay running needed several things done and several parts replaced. Edward and his mechanics went above and beyond on the repairs to the old work horse and even stored it for me until I had time to get out there to pick her up. Couldn't be happier, old dodge is back in the wind and riding smoothly.

Let me tell you about these guys...Edward Smith and his crew are not only great mechanics they are great people. Here it is 9pm and 40 degrees outside, 4 days before Christmas and all 3 of them are here working on my car so I can get back on the road and be with my family. They could have charged me an arm and a leg but they did not. I wish I had the money at the time to give them each a tip. They even took me to get something to eat while I was waiting. Just tremendous guys. You will not regret taking your vehicle to Ed. They saved my Christmas!!!
