I will never go to this man again! He charged me over 50% mark up on the part, and that is based on retail price. That is after he claimed to get parts cheap. He charged me a diagnostic fee when my car had already been diagnosed. And this was after he told me that he couldn't diagnose it, he would just have to hope it messed up while he had it! He demanded to be paid in cash, which is highly inconvenient. He also missed our appointment to pick the car up by AN HOUR and I had to wait an extra day to pick my car up! The entire time he treated me like he was doing me a favor and then he completely screws me on the bill! This person is extremely immoral and took advantage of me to jack up his profits. Do not go to him!

Wow. Difficult to believe that I see negative reviews here.I've taken two vehicles to Steve Sears' garage multiple times over the years, an Isuzu Trooper and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Not only did Steve clearly communicate what needed to be done and what could be left on the shelf, he was upfront with his pricing and was happy to explain what he was doing and why.I can't discount any one else's experience, but on multiple occasions over several years, Steve Sears has been professional, prompt, honest, and thorough. I highly recommend.

Steve is honest and extremely knowledgeable. He does great work and his prices are hard to beat. I've been taking my vehicles to him for 20 years and have never had any issue with his work.

He gave our car back knowing it wasn't even done right! Half of the things weren't fixed that's on the receipt and we weren't told of any other things wrong with it.

It was July 1st noone answered the phone. Found Brett in Piedmont. He fixed it.
