We had rats get into the motor of my Explorer and they chewed up wires until everything was a mess. These guys went through the motor fixing everything and the Lady at the desk really went out of her way to contact and deal with the warranty insurance to make sure that they covered what was in the warranty contract.We will definitely give them all of our automotive repair work in the future.

This shop did an excellent job diagnosing and treating my husband s Nissan! We will definitely be bringing my car here for repairs as well, they were through, affordable, and the turnaround was incredible! 10/10 service!

This was the first time I used this business and it will not be the last . I have finally found a mechanic that I can trust and rely on. Everything about my experience with them was way above average. That has never happened to me and I am very impressed. I will not take my vehicle anyplace but here for any mechanical needs in the future.The employees were very friendly and responsive to every question or issue I had about my truck. They had a very positive attitude and made sure that every question I asked was answered. So overall these guys know their stuff and know how to treat customers and their prices are not outrageous and the quality of work is outstanding. They also finished earlier than they thought and kept me informed on what they were doing. And my truck is fixed. If I could I'd give them 10 gold stars. Thanks for the high quality work.

Friendly people, excellent service!!! James and his team know their stuff and consistently provide a fantastic customer experience. They always inspect your vehicle for issues you may not be aware of which I truly appreciate as a business owner. AA saves us money by minimizing our down time and truly caring about keeping us safe on the road. Turnaround time is always quick as well. I m very thankful to have local mechanics I can trust to get the job done right the first time, every time. Keep up the good work guys - we appreciate you so much!!!

We took our 06 6.0 F-350 in for suspension issues, breaks, and high pressure oil pump replacement. Cody did an amazing in doing all the repairs needed, he went above and beyond repairing our truck. The truck runs and drives like a brand new one! Amanda is the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I asked her to find my niece a transmission and she found one and I said it s too much. I would keep looking and Amanda was also going to keep looking. We did not here from her for 2 weeks and my niece Megan called to see if she had found anything else. Megan told me Amanda was very rude to her also and told her she had not been looking. So I called also and talked to Amanda to see if she had found anything else. Amanda said she had not been looking. However, the last conversation was to keep looking and I would also look. Then, she said that she would look for 2 more weeks and if she didn t find anything we would need to come get the vehicle, it was not a grave yard for Megan s vehicle. We don t need a grave yard lol we need a transmission. So I have also continued to look. I call yesterday and Amanda said she has been out sick for an entire week and has not looked. Which is understandable. She can t help that she was sick and neither can I. I asked her if she would continue to look since she missed a week and was not able to look for one. Then she was very rude, once again. Said she would look one more day and that was it. What ever happened to looking for a transmission for the next 2 weeks? Remember you missed an entire week of work. She missed a week of work and I feel like she needs to look for a transmission throughout this week and if we can t find one, we will move the vehicle. But she said she would look one more day- not the whole 2 weeks as promised and I would have to come get the car today. Thanks for the terrible customer service and delay of doing your job and looking for that transmissions. Amanda, your customer service is terrible and your are extremely rude! Thanks for the empty promises.FYI if you read the reviews from 6 months ago from Haley, you will also read that Amanda was rude to her. Amanda is the common denominator here.Service: Transmission

Taken my Z3 here a few times and they have fixed it right up! They replaced a sensor and within a year it went bad again. Held true to their part/warranty clause and replaced it for free! Give them a call!

Trustworthy, honest, well run repair shop. I live 800 miles away in Mass and our college aged daughter's car has been repaired by Action a number of times. Being so far away as we are, we have to rely on their analysis of the problem. and they are very efficient and well run. They adhere to their appointments; they are HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY; they are capable and efficient; they call you back (try to get that with your Dr or anyone). I really can't say enough nice things about this shop and the nice people who have helped us overcome everything from the sudden surprise of a car that dies on the road and then won't start to an elusive electrical gremlin. They also replaced worn chassis and suspension parts. Always fair, always honest and always quality work. If I could give them 20 stars, I would, but the other references speak volumes about this well run honest repair shop. Thank you Action Automotive from the English Family.

I went to have my car looked at because I was worried that even though the ride itself was fine it was making a slight noise. So I thought maybe,due to some advice of my friends that it may be the wheel bearing. I was in need of something fast for my job and my normal guy just didnt have the space to in his schedule to squeeze me in. Admittedly maybe I shouldn't have even mentioned wheel bearing, shame on me for expecting honest service I guess. Anyway they come back after looking at my car and tell me not only is it the wheel bearing going but a belt in my tire was bad. So I would need both replaced. The first lady I talked to was nice, said that the main issue was the tire and that my wheel bearing had some time left. The estimate was $440. The blonde lady, who was EXTREMELY rude and talked down to me, said the opposite. The wheel bearing needed to be replaced and the tire could wait. Thankfully my normal guy was able to squeeze me in due to a cancellation so I took it to him thinking what they told me was right. Come to find out they were wrong. My tires and bearing were fine. The only think making the noise was the tire because the tread was fine just uneven. They completely took advantage of me, or tried to, knowing I was desperate and I guess figured they could get a quick buck out of me. Not only would I pay the estimate but I would have also had to buy a rental and possibly give up a great job opportunity if couldn't find a rental in time. It's really upsetting that they were willing to cheat me out that much money for something this simple.

Water pump needed to be replaced,no other problems at this time with my sports track.they did a great job on the water pump got the truck back the next day pay my bill drove it down the road and my O.D.Light started flashing on and off. Took the truck back to action automotive,and told them what it was doing ,they said they would check it out,the next day got a call saying it was a internal problem in my transmission their price was 3,716.68.for a used transmission it was 2,624.88.the code they said they found was a po732 code, which is a incorrect Ratio code.took my truck home ,drove it up the road a few miles the code went off,truck is running fine transmission is running good .I even borrowed a tester to check codes and it came back (No codes Detected),I feel like I was lied too and was fixing to be Scammed,I don't trust this Automsotive shop,iask them if it could be the solenoids he said he energized them and they were all good that it was a internal transmission problem..if your O.D. light starts blinking,it doesn't mean you have to pay someone over 3,000 the truck reset itself and is still running good.update on sportstrac been driving it now back and forth from Greenville now for 3 weeks ,no transmission problems, truck is still running after 2 years since saying I needed a new transmission, don't trust this business they tried to ripp me off

I manage a retail furniture store in Seneca SC. We deliver a high volume of furniture daily. So if a truck goes down we lose money. I always turn to Action Automotive when we have a breakdown. Very fast service. And are always right about diagnosis on the vehicle. If you have ever had something fixed at a car shop. Got it back and next day doing the same thing it was when you carried it the first time. You usually hear " well we missed the diagnosis. Still can fix the problem but no refund on previous service". And the people are always friendly! Lacy is always on top of things when you call. If she's unsure about something she heads the shop to find an answer. Don't think you can go wrong using these folks as your mechanic.

Charged my teenage son $590 for breaks and rotors on a 2012 Honda. They took advantage of a kid who is working to take care of his own car. Most expensive breaks in SC!

I recently had a rear end gear put in my mustang by Action Automotive. To sum it up it is apparent that if you are not a large company whom they have a contract with, you don't matter. The blonde lady at the service desk was as rude as they come and the owner told me that the gear will whine some. I only spoke to the owner after the work was done. I was not told this before work was done and I was never told at any point and time that there would not be any warranty. Through my research I found that if installed properly it should not whine or clunk ( which mine does) when coming to a stop. I did ask them to not test drive my car due to me not wanting some kid to wrap it around a tree. I know for a fact if you drop just the rear end off at the shop to have a gear installed, they can't test drive it without the rest of the car. Therefore if you know how to perform the work properly there is know need for a test drive. It was never not once discussed that this would void any warranty before or after the work was done. I didn't realize this until I looked at the receipt days later. I can work on my own car but when it comes to installing gears it takes some real talent to do it right. There is know one at Action Aoutomotive with this type of talent. I had to take my car to Lindsays Ring and Pinion to get it done right and I guess after all you can install a set of Ford Racing 4.10 gears without them whining and clunking. I hope this helps someone.

I was having car trouble while traveling cross country. It was late in the day and they had to keep my car overnight. They gave me a ride to and picked me up from my Airbnb. Great service.

I have a work friend that took her Durango there to have the air fixed. It came with a warranty and they are charging them two days later to fix it again. That's the second person I work with that has trouble there. I won't take my car there
