Came back for another oil change today and Chelsea and Jose gave me great customer service. Every time I come here they do an amazing job. At first the last time I came was because it was convenient . A few exits away from my house. Now, I will be a repeated customer because I know they will take care of my car and tell me what I need to sustain the maintenance on my vehicle so it will last. Get your oil change here! You will not be disappointed, I promise ! ;-)

I stopped in because Take 5 is convenient for a lunch time oil change. It's more expensive than my normal place, but everyone was friendly. The mechanic suggested a coolant exchange to go along with my oil change and told me WHY it was needed and what the implications could be if the service wasn't addressed. It was clear by the coolant they took out that the service was needed. I appreciate Take 5's attention to detail and how they explained things without making me feel like a stupid girl. Great experience.

I ve been coming here for years but I m second guessing on coming back. First I waited a while just to pull into a bay and the whole time I waited all I could hear was staff yelling. When the tech was doing my oil change, she started pouring new oil in before the manager, who was under my car, had finished putting the filter on. After cussing at her mistake and another employee yelling at her to not curse, she told me she gave me a free engine flush. The whole time people were yelling and I couldn t really understand what the tech was saying to me because I got so overwhelmed with all the commotion going on. If it wasn t for the lady with the spacebuns in her hair standing at the card reader noticing I was completely overwhelmed and telling me specifically what to do, I would have looked like an idiot. After the manager spoke to me to ask if I would leave a positive review, she told me I would hear a bunch of loud applause. As I started to leave the bay she yelled as loud as she could into my open window causing me to jump and my left ear to ring as I drove away. I love hyping up your staff, but this was way too much. Especially after the clumsiness and wait times. Also my oil change was $108 for a 2010 corolla.

The employees were very friendly and answered all of my questions. I feel like they did a good job. The only problem was that I drive a Mercedes and they did not KNOW how to reset my oil change light. It seems to me that that would be a requirement for doing an oil change. A simple Google search showed how to do it . I paid a lot of money to have this done as a convenience.

THE WORST experience ever , as soon as I got on the road good , my car broke down , PEOPLE do not allow them to flush your car please , plus they didn t full the fluids back up either , my car cut off on me & my minor daughter , the engine light came on , they did a half as job , talking about a WINTER a special I paid over $200 for , the special is ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD ! They truly suck and if you don t watch them they will not do what all they charge you then they be like oh I forgot PLEASE! Nope don t do it, they don t even offer any money back , they racing to be #1 is what they was doing ! Stay away from Take 5 on Augusta RD ! Read the reviews I m not the only one ! I had to call them so they sent an employee out to fill my car up with fluids , at least he was concerned Thank you Jose for showing up ! Never use them again in life

Christian, Clayton, and Jose are the best and so nice. They re efficient, quick, and explain everything they re fixing on your car. They were super busy but still got my oil change done quickly and made up for any lost time! Definitely going here for my next oil change!

The BEST oil change I ve had since moving to Columbia, SC. I have had some pretty awful experiences since moving to the south, some horror stories that left me in tears after an oil change. Never should happen.Take 5 was recommended to me by a friend, and I m typing this as I sit here getting my oil changed by Christian and Daniel because they re kind, attentive and welcoming as it s my first time. The obvious teamwork and customer service skills that these employees hold - whoever manages them should give themselves a pat on the back. Well done!

I have been going to this location since they opened. A bit more expensive and kinda slow, but always had been a good experience. In the past year I noticed they stopped doing things like checking my tire, cleaning the windshield even though they say they did so on my receipt but thats not a big deal.However on my most recent oil change, it went completely different. They told me (in a very serious tone) that my coolant reservoir was extremely corroded and needed to be replaced that day. I was told it would harm my car. Luckily they could do it there for $300. I was hesitant because of the price and they told me that I could get a 75% discount and a manager discount on top of that. When they came back with the discounted price it was $225 which isnt even 75% off.I kept asking if it was something I could put off for a few days until I got paid and I was told that it needed to be done immediately. Something in my head told me to say no. When I got home and had a car friend check my car, low and behold the coolant reservoir was completely fine. It wasn't even dirty. I believe the worker ( I cannot remember his name) was trying to swindle me out of several hundred bucks because I am a young female. PLEASE be aware and conscious of what you agree to. Unfortunately will not be returning to this location or other Take 5 places.

VERY quick service, everyone was polite....amazing experience here!!! The technician was knowledgeable and explained everything that was needed or addressed while changing my oil..... I will come back here from now on!!! Thank you Christian for a pleasant experience.... from our phone about pricing to directions to location!!!! I definitely will keep going back!!! Keep up the great work fellas!!!!

When I arrived there didn t have to wait long but the young man asked if I had on me to pay. I said no why he said it would be $40.00 I said I have my card to pay. Then a short man came over and said don t worry you oil change is free that he needed to give away 2 free oil change by 6:00 pm and 8:00pm I said it s 7:00 pm. He pretended to check the time and said oh yeah you right. When he realized I was paying attention he walked away but gave me my sticker. No one never asked me my information the scan my barcode and just ask if I had cash on me. When I said no the young man said you don t have any cash. this is the look I gave him and he walked off. I don t no if they are trying to rip women off but I didn t like that visit. I offered to pay he said no remember you are the lucky winner of a free oil change. I never experienced anything like that.

Exemplary customer service. Ms. Jess and her staff were very polite and professional. Upon pulling in, I was greeted with a bottle of water. My time while waiting was enlightening. I enjoy great conversation and some laughs. They were so genuine and got me in and out meeting my needs. I really appreciate the military discount. Ms. Jess even offered me a job. Great location will be back!

They were so fast and courteous. Jose was cracking jokes and made me laugh. Even if it costs just a few dollars more, I d choose Take 5 each time due to how quick the service is and how thorough they are. From washer fluid to air pressure in your tires, they go above and beyond at Take 5!

Service was great. My only complaint was that the guy, Jon, chose to hit on me, with pretty intense comments. He even told me that he wasn t supposed to be talking to customers but I was special . He made remarks stating how easily he can be in my car the entire time I was there, how I would look good on the back of his bike, and he doesn t know why but he is drawn to me . I tried to be polite and even had to state a few times that I wasn t interested. If it wasn t for the young gentleman there who tried to steer Jon away from me, I would have just told them to stop and I would have left.

Hi I came to this take five on West Columbia because I thought that I had an oil leak after getting my oil changed previously this year. The people were so nice here. Jack, Andrew, Megan, and Matt were super nice. Amazing customer service

The whole crew had hospitality, were sociable, and also took their time taking care of my vehicle! I've never been to Take 5 but Thursday I decided to take my chances because of the lousy establishment and staffing @precision tune in Irmo. I also appreciate the commentary services provided by topping my oil or coolant off once I return! 100/10 Take your money where it goes far! Also if the manager or higher ups see this, give those men a raise and im talking about all of them! They had a line the day I showed up and even though I had multiple services done on my car they took care of the other guest and were very respectable and caring for each person! Thank you guys so much and I can't wait to vista again!!!

The manager and staff were awesome!! I ve never had an oil change done somewhere and actually enjoyed the experience! I mean who likes getting their oil changed?! Go to this place and you will like enjoy it for sure!! Very clean facility, helpful young men who were respectful and helpful. Definitely will be a return customer!! Great service!Owning a vehicle can be expensive and annoying when things don t go right. Needed my car checked before hitting at 9 hour+ drive next week and these guys took great care of the car and were very friendly! Waited a little longer than expected, but it s a business so I understood. Once I pulled in to get everything checked, they immediately offered me 10% for my wait which was very nice and I was not expecting that! I also had a $10 off and they let me have both discounts. I was also offered a bottle of water, and the team was very informative of all questions and concerns I had. I m typically a gal who goes to the dealer, but Take 5 is probably where I ll be heading from now on due to the great service and great prices!!

Stopped in from out of town and the Mechanic/Rep, Shadow, gave me out standing service!!!!!! He put me first and my car needs. He didn't hassle me. He listened and understood the assignment. He also gave me great a price on my oil change. I love Take 5. Everyone is always nice and respectful. However Shadow, went over and beyond, explaining all the necessary necessities needed. Every place needs a guy like him. Shout out to HIM.

My wife and I came in after 4:30pm for an oil change and Christian was very professional and patient. He was able to take care of our vehicle before a very important trip. Christian is the best technician in South Carolina, hands down

Wonderful customer service the manager was very attentive as well as the service tech. They were very quick with my service I had an oil change and an air filter changed it took them all of about 15 minutes. I will definitely be returning for any work I need do

The staff was friendly, but this location is definitely the slowest instant oil change I ve ever been to. The sign says 10 minutes or less, but we were the second vehicle in the line, and we waited behind the car in front of us for about 35 minutes. Then sat in the garage for about 10 minutes before they started on our vehicle. From there, it was about another 12-15 minutes, totaling about an hour. Normally I m quite patient, but we saw there wasn t much of a line and figured we could be in and out of there within 30 minutes max to make it on time for our scheduled dinner plans. Needless to say we didn t make it on time.

Came in for an oil change on my bfs car at 0730 and was promptly greeted by Jess. Service was great and explained well by both Jess and Christian - I really appreciated this since it was my first time going to a Take 5.Will happily return again in the future!

Matt really made my experience at Take 5 highly special. I just came in to have my oil changed; I did not know that they flushed your coolant. Matt did that and then I learned how dirty my coolant was (like I never thought about that.). He also noticed that my windshield wipers were in horrible shape, so I bought a pair and Matt installed and custom fit them. Matt used to have an older Mercedes like mine, so he knew stuff like where the hood latch was.The other good part is that they will inspect and top off any fluids in your car, after it is serviced, for FREE. What a deal for me!Matt did all of this at a super price. I hope I am not omitting anything!I have also never seen anyone so obviously enjoy his work like Matt does, as well as the entire team at Take 5. They really seem to work together very well.
