I have aftermarket rims. The lady refused to install any other tire size than what the manufacturer recommended sizes is according to door panel. Ridiculous, went next door to Firestone, they installed my requested tire size no problems. How much business are they turning away? It seems they were looking for any reason to get out of work. They were not busy by the way. Lady at register said no problem, however lady who actually installs tires refused.

I came in for an oil change and I was the second person to arrive there was only one person in front of me. I was told it would be a 2-3 hour wait if the person in front of me got 4 tires installed. I have 4 tires installed on my car multiple times over the years and it usually takes no more than 45 minutes. Terrible customer service, the lady at the counter was extremely rude. Don t waste your valuable time going here

Second time that I tried to get a oil change and now I'm starting to believe everyone is program to say it's a two hour wait.. mind you I was there at 740 you literally just opened.Update got a oil change this month with them. According to my paperwork my car checks out good with etc. Tell me why I get pull over because the brake light is out not Walmart fault at all but your paperwork says lights are good. Now I don't trust them at all

Terrible place to go get help for tires and their employees seemed disgruntled and not willing to help the customers. I caught a leak in my tire amd went to get some assistance. Much to my dismay they said they were closed and it was 45 minutes before their closing time. They seemed more interested in smoking cigarettes than even making an attempt to help. Then one employee was extremely rude and cut me off before I could explain my situation. Another employee just ask of i needed to buy some fix-a-flat but I just went to Pro Tire and they helped me even though they were actually closed Pieces of advice avoid this shop at all cost!!.

Horrible employees. Refused to give me a refund on a dead battery. Said it was something other than the battery. Even said I brought the wrong size battery. Was very short and horrible. Definitely wouldn t recommend.

I'm pretty dumb with cars, but the price seemed right when I went to get my oil changed (considering what I was told to expect). My service lights wouldn't go off and I had to come back a week later to make sure it was alright, and they helped fix it quickly. Do not come here. I ordered a tire from Walmart.com and scheduled an appointment for their auto care center to install it. When I went to my appointment, the place was closed and I was told it was the mechanics day off, but no communication had been made to me. I made another appointment, showed up, and they didn't have my tire. Then there was a huge mixup over whether walmart.com or their auto center was responsible for the order. Turns out, they had canceled my order without telling me when the product sold out. During the whole ordeal, the customer service people were very unhelpful, unknowledgeable, and just contributed to making the whole experience a bad one. I would never go here again, please don't take the chance that your experience will be better. A lot of wasted time and resources will be made.

If I could have given no stars I would have. Took my car to get an oil change and was told that the previous location had messed up a plug and that they were unable to do the oil change until we ordered the part. Only 3 bucks but conveniently the same thing was told to another customer who pulled in right after we did. Ridiculous. It was also nice to know that while the other customer was waiting she overheard the mechanic saying that he was done and did not want to work anymore tonight...with 2 more hours of being open.

Without fail I wait no less than fifteen minutes for someone to greet me and ask what service I need. Inevitably they tell me they're short-staffed and there's not enough time in the day for them to take care of my car (1:00, 5:00, 3:30...) The one time they took my car back (battery replacement) they paged me in the store twenty minutes later to say they didn't have the battery in stock. Don't go here if you value your time. Chances are you won't get the service you need and will still end up spending more money at another place, but you will have lost your time.

Poor customer service. My rant: I pulled up to get two new tires. They told me to leave my car in the line to check with the staff at the desk to see if they had the tires in stock for my suv.Waited for 15 min for a lady to find the tires (which isn't the real problem), only to have the mechanics to tell me to have to move my car and park it because "I was blocking" the other cars...there were no cars when I stepped outside. I go back in, she said they have the tires, she printed out a paper for me. I took it outside and waited another 10 min for the mechanics to acknowledge me. They let two cars in front of me, and then told me I have to bring my car back in the line after car #1 pulls into the garage in the tires lane, car #2 was in line for an oil service.I ended up telling them I don't need their service.The Good Year Tires down the road was cheaper for the two tires I needed with their warranty and oil change.

This would be the third time I have been here and was told that I wouldn't be helped. I came for a battery replacement and was literally told to go somewhere else. The second time I came for an oil change and the worker told me they couldn't help me and refused to elaborate. Then today I waited for over 30 minutes with no other customers at all here just to be told again that they couldn't do my oil change because they don't have a filter. Which is one thing for them not to have the filter but for me to sit there for so long for them to tell me after waiting that long. Complete waste of time. Today was the last time I will ever try to come here for anything at all.

Looked up on line where to purchase Purolator 1 oil filter for my car and read that Walmart Auto Center carried them. Went to Walmart Auto Center and no one there to help me. Finally after about 30 minutes, the manager arrived. No, Purolator oil filters are only available online! Asked my phone again who had them : Advance Auto, which was only a block away. Got my filters from Advance Auto!

Greenville area friends: I'd recommend against getting your oil changed at the Taylor's Walmart Tire and Lube. I've generally found their services to be reliable until recently.I took my vehicle there a couple of months ago, and had them do an oil change. Or so I thought. The vehicle's check engine light came on over the weekend, so I had a reputable mechanic look at it and he discovered that the oil was not actually changed at the last appointment. There's no evidence of oil burning or leaking out. The oil simply wasn't changed. In the short term, it looks like the vehicle will be ok. It's hard to assess what the long-term damage might be, but I won't be surprised if the timing chain needs to be replaced in the next year or two.The mechanic (from Just Right Auto) says he's had several other customers before me have similar experiences with this Walmart not changing oil correctly or not changing it at all. He would strongly suggest not taking your car to the Taylor's Walmart. In retrospect, that fact that the Walmart technician forgot to include the "date/milage for next oil change" sticker on the windshield should have been a clue that they also neglected to change the oil.

Went to change oil for my 2014 Passat. Man was friendly, told us it would take about 40 mins. Walked around the store for half an hour and came back to wait for another 15 mins when they came up and said they don't carry the filter for our car. The man apologized, and said they should have told us earlier. Had to wait 45 mins for nothing... Could have at least vacuumed our carpets for the wait.

I waited an hour and no one was at the desk during their business hours. No associate in other areas of the store knew how unlock the trigger door for me. I had to walk out the stoor, around and outside and grab my car and leave.

Very, very shoddy work here. When an error is pointed out to the staff, they quickly look for a scapegoat, and the manager refused to take responsibility for the mistake and resolve it. If you want your car to run poorly and be in bad shape, this is the place to come.

ASE Certified technician. Got gift cards from work for Walmart; girlfriends oil light was on so used them at the auto center for a high mileage oil change. Chose to upgrade the filter as I ve seen what a fram filter will do to an engine. Manager was friendly (marquise); the older feller was as well. Did some shopping while we waited. It s a tire and oil place, nothing more nothing less. Overall good experience.

Vacuuming your vehicle is part of the oil change as long as everything is picked up off the floors (or was that just another excuse from an anti-vacuumer tech??). I checked with the service tech to make sure it doesn't get overlooked, bc that happens ALOT at many different Walmarts. I go to leave...and my vehicle was not vacuumed! I debated with myself if this was a petty move to go back in and re-establish the vacuum part of the deal, and decide it IS part of the deal! It's included! They tell me it was vacuumed but their vacuum is old and won't pick up like a car wash vacuum.It wasn't vacuumed AT ALL, Susan! Then they say they'll vacuum it again.....but get behind the 2 vehicles already in the bay and they'll get to it when they pull a car out. Seriously? So now I'm feeling petty if I stay....for a 2 min. vacuum. So, I decided to write them a negative review instead....(which I never do!) but him trying to BS a BS'er? Puhh-lease.And I'm going to check the fullness of my oil now too! Psh!

False advertising, saying that your automotive department is open till 11:59pm is a lie. I went at 15 minutes before 7pm and they turned me down, all I needed was to get a tire put on a rim and a new tire which I know doesn't take long at all . They said they were closed at 7:00pm which makes no sense because it says they're open untill 11:59pm..plus it wasn't even 7:00pm yet. This is false advertising and bad service. Please update your automotive part of Wal-Mart please...very unhappy. .

Went in to get an oil change but there was no one there accept the cashier. I like this Walmart so anyone looking for a job in automotive you should really check this place out. The cashier was really nice though.

Having to wait 20 minutes to just to check out and I have to do the ringing up and bagging while the employee gets paid to stand there and watch. Something not right there, we should get discount for every item we have to ring up ourselves.

Bought tires from Walmart but they would not install them on my aftermarket wheels which was unexpected. Had to take the tires to another shop.

Will not have service here again. If your a mechanic and don't know what kind of oil a vehicle needs, you need to find another position in the store. Wait time was horrible.

Go to the Greer TLE much better. The people in Taylors must have a goal to be the worst TLE in the country... Don't believe me? Just go and try for yourself. Actually I'm giving up on all WalMart TLE's. I used to think convenience... but now I thinking aggravation. May as well go to a place that specializes in Tires. Blessings, John 20:29

Go somewhere else. No other cars in the bays but mine and employees just wandering around like they have nothing to do and yet I had to wait over an hour for an oil change.
