DeFalco's has been a great shop to deal with. when both vehicles decided to not work, not only was the vehicle picked up and towed in quickly. They were efficient and fixed both vehicles in a timely fashion putting both me and my son back on the road. Grateful for such an honest family owned business

We are on vacation in SC and my husband's truck won't start. We head out in 2 days so we called them yesterday and they picked up his truck within an hour. The tow truck driver & staff were very polite, sympathetic, and straightforward. We didn't get an update phone call so my husband went to the shop and when he got there we found out that they hadn't done a diagnosis test yet but the guy offered to test the sensors while my husband was standing there and they ordered the part on site and hopefully it can be fixed by tomorrow so we aren't stranded.Update: We checked out of our hotel at 9:30am on December 23, 2023....we got a phone call at 9:40am or shortly after saying his truck was ready for pickup! If I could give more stars I would because it was the weekend before Christmas and we were stressed but trying hard to be positive and they truly did everything they could to make sure we got home. We are forever grateful!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Brandy (yes, multiple, thanks to battery issues) through AAA. It s abundantly clear she takes pride in her work and truly cares about helping people. She s very friendly, prompt, and an asset to DeFalco s. When she called me, her first question was Are you somewhere safe? That spoke VOLUMES to me. DeFalco s, give her a raise! She deserves it!Thanks, Brandy! You re appreciated.

I wish I could give more stars to this business. We came here on an emergency basis when our alternator went out on the last day of our vacation. DeFalco s was so awesome! They got our van properly diagnosed, perfectly repaired, and handled everything quickly and professionally. Their communication was totally excellent - really clear about what all they did, the timeframe to be expected and they were super nice when I called in the meantime with another question. I could tell they sincerely cared about getting my van repaired and helping me get back on the road. If this place were in my hometown, I would go there for everything.

Would recommend to everyone. One of the drivers, Dakotah, treated my car like his own and took amazing care of it. Took photos of it loaded and when he dropped it off and was very careful and thorough. Wouldn t call anyone else!

Got into an accident 10/22. I am very fortunate. I walked out of the hospital, veryyy slowly. Quality towing had my car and were HORRIBLE. And then when they realized we were not going to be using them they literally threw my car away down the street.AND THEN DAKOTA from DeFalcos IN HIS WHITE horse CHAMPION, saved the day. He was professional, empathetic, good natured, confident and patient. He is EXACTLY the kind of person I would hire when I was healthy and in charge . . Thank you from a nobody. But I am someone who is very loyal. You will now become immediately referred. Once I can Uber again and can get a car .. at every opportunity I will recall this story including all that was done prior to your knight showing up. Thank you. not to be dramatic but I have some faith in humanity again.

My vehicle needed to be towed and Jim arrived promptly was professional and very knowledgeable. He knew exactly what the issue was towed the vehicle to my mechanic and my vehicle was fixed and back on the road in no time! Thank You Jim and Defalcos for such great service!

Our car broke down at the MB Airport and would not run. Called DeFalco's and within a short time Travis came and had our car towed to where we wanted it. He made a bad situation so much better and easier to deal with. We will always call and refer people to DeFalco"s!!!!

Dang! Evan was an immense help! He found somewhere that could replace my alternator by day s end. He was very communicative and let me know when he d arrive and got the tow job done promptly. Great attitude and service!

Had to call AAA today for a tow due to my car not starting and was assigned driver Jim to come get my car. He was super friendly right off the bat which is always great in these situations since I was clearly having a bad day. AAA gives 3 free miles of towing then it s $7 per mile after that. Jim fiddled with my car for a minute and got it started so I was able to drive it to the shop myself. He saved me from having to pay $30 extra for towing. Words cannot express how thankful I was in this moment considering all the other expenses involved with car problems. Thank you again Jim!

We live in Toronto and come to Myrtle Beach each winter. My battery died today so I called CAA/AAA and a truck from DeFalco s came within 15 minutes, and boosted our car, they also diagnosed I needed a new battery and had new ones in the truck. The driver changed the battery on the spot and we were on our way. Super efficient, very nice guy, very empathetic. Couldn't thank him enough!

DeFalco s towing responded to our AAA call for assistance. Evan Davis showed up and was extremely helpful. He took extra time to ensure no damage was done to our Corvette in getting it loaded and unloaded from the truck when it was completely dead and needed to be put on ski s. Evan even took the time to send us pictures of the vehicle safely delivered to the Chevy dealership. One of the best towing companies I have ever dealt with! Glad to see this NJ company in SC!!!

This review is part of a AAA towing request, and it was serviced by DeFalco's. I never received the survey from AAA about the service, so I wanted to give credit where credit is due! And that would be for Bryan from DeFalco's, who showed up in record time when I placed the request. He got my car started, loaded it onto the tow truck, and verified the address it was going to. He was extremely kind and informative, and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Bryan and DeFalco's for being there when I needed assistance!

Teddy and the whole crew really saved the day on our military roadtrip. After our truck broke down at 9 pm, the towing guys were able to come out and pickup the car AND our Uhaul trailer. They were so kind and helpful. The next day at the storefront Teddy gave us really comprehensive insight when he explained the problem and helped us to understand our options. We re eternally grateful to the whole team!

While vacationing in the Carolinas from Canada, we had the unfortunate emergency while gassing up, our car would not start. A quick call to AAA got us a service person from DeFalco's - Rob who arrived less than 5 minutes after our call. This young man was professional, courteous and most importantly prepared. In under 30 minutes he had the issue diagnosed, a new battery installed, took away the old one, noticed our hood latch not working, fixed it and sent us on our merry way. We appreciate the superlative service we received from Rob and would extend him a thank you.Service: Battery

Last Tuesday, I came home from a trip to find my car's door ajar which had caused my battery to die. Christopher, from DeFalco, came out around midnight and got my car running. He gave me advice on how to avoid the problem in the future and what to do recharge my battery that evening. He told me if the charge didn't hold to call them back. The charge didn't hold, so i had to call them back. Christian came out immediately to check the battery and charging system. The check showed the battery should be good indicating there might be a more serious problem. So, they suggested I take the care to their shop to do a complete charging system check. SinceI had an early morning appointment, Christin told me they would get me in right away if I could get to their shop just before opening which I did. They were ready for me when I got there. Fortunately there was no charging problem, so they replaced my battery at no charge. The entire staff at DeFalco could not have been more helpful, courteous, and efficient.

Best quality towing in grand strand . Great customer service . I was waiting for quality towing company for 2 hours and they told me we have more important customer then you even I was waiting for 2 hours . Then I called Defalco s they came within 15 minutes . Exceptional time frame and very very helpful people . Any needs this is the best towing company in Grand strand . Thank you .

I locked my keys in my car. AAA sent sent someone to assist who was Brandy with DeFalco s. She was absolutely wonderful. Delightful to deal with, Very kind and very efficient. She was a little concerned because I own a PT Cruiser (Most hated vehicle on the road I have learned) And my handles are different than most cars standard handles. ( I guess Chrysler was trying to be cool as my car handles are the old fashion style with a stationary handle and the push button for entry). Brandy was a little concerned because she had never had to get into one with such type handle However, she was in Within a few minutes. AAA Generally send a survey immediately after service, but for some reason this time did not. I wanted to let everyone including the owners/management at the DeFalco s know how pleased I was with the service. The car nurse aka Brandy Is truly an asset to your company. Thank you for getting my dumba$$ into my car. Brandy you rock chica!! Thx again :)

John and Brandy helped me out at no cost tonight. I am from Iowa and have a Mazda-50 which they both assisted with. It was truly an experience of southern hospitality at a roadside gas station on a random Sunday night. We need more people like these two in this country right now; kind and generous.

I was having issues with a clicking/steering issue. The first shop that brought it tonget looked at told me they couldn t find anything wrong and the rack had a little bit of play but didn t seem serious . When I was in Myrtle beach, the issue got extremely worse making a turn and threw the whole car off. I called Friday night before they closed and they stated they could at least have someone diagnose the issue Saturday. I got a call around 12:00 stating they fixed the issue. I ended up having a $100.00 bill compared to the $1,500.00 bill I thought I was going to have to replace the steering rack. These guys are knowledgeable and harp on giving great customer service. They were open on Veterans Day and really helped me out. They also give you a discount if you are a AAA member. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thanks again.

Geoffrey was AWESOME!! We decided to do a day trip and our truck had us stuck at the gas station miles away from home. He gave us a call with his ETA and was there before that. To the DeFalco family,I thought it important that the DeFalco s know you have an outstanding service manager in Paul.In short, l have an 03 Lincoln town car in showroom shape with one hundred & ninety nine thousand miles on it.l ve proudly owned & maintained it for the life of car.Your mechanics were working on it some weeks back when my job was going horribly wrong.Touch one part & another one breaks. You ve heard that before. What became a nightmare for your shop & me was carefully worked out by Paul. Appreciate good prompt service in towing my dead car after finding out it was the starter . They called the next day to say they would have to keep it another day waiting on the part however they made the effort to get the part that evening and called saying we could pick it up that night . Even though parts and labor effects our pocket book it s good to know there are reliable honest, dedicated , friendly service centers.
