I just want to give a quick shout out to Morrison Automotive. I was a little concerned when the warranty ran out on my explorer because factory prices are very high but you don t want to lose the customer service you get from a factory dealership. I have noticed the customer service is probably better being a smaller company. It is more like a personal touch. I recommend them with five stars.

They have had my truck for 3 weeks now and 2 weeks prior to that. I did tell them I don't drive it during the week. Problem is I've been calling for over a week. Last Friday was told Kenny would call me back shortly. Nothing. called again Monday told samething. nothing. Called every day and no one answered the phone (caller ID). Had my wife call after I did from a friend's phone and they answered. my wife was told Kenny would be contacting one of us shortly. never heard from anyone. I have left voice mails and still nothing. I didn't want to go on here but had no choice when you can't speak to anyone and it won't let you send a email on the website. But I know Kenny reads and responds to these. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks. update !! Kenny responded back the next day, That means alot. changed to 5 stars. I'm also in the customer service feild and communication goes along way. Thanks kenny.

I m going to WOW you guys with this. I brought my vehicle to this shop and was told I needed close to 2500.00 in work done to my air conditioning, granted I own a heating and air company I don t know much about car air conditioning. I was told the resister needs replacement which I could understand, I was told I need a new wire harness because the connector was so burnt it needed replacement, also that the blower motor needed replacement nexus it s pulling high amps come to find the cabin filter is clogged that will cause the blower to run harder causing high current. WOW. Long story short I brought the vehicle back home because now I have some general knowledge of what s going on pulled everything apart to find now the connector is unplugged possibly so it doesn t cause further damage. I did take I upon myself to replace the blower resister repair the wiring connector everything cranked up and is running fine. The last WOW is when I called to let the counter guy know of my findings I didn t get an apology for the diagnosis I was given the I let him know it working now with only a new 60.00 resister this guys says GOOD WOW, WOW, WOW unbelievable. Moral of the story deal with trustworthy shops to work on your vehicle or you will get screwed. Look at the work order they couldn t even get my name spelled correctly WOW. 125.00 down the drain. I've taken my company's work trucks here for Service for years & always been pleased so I trusted Kenny with my beloved classic 1972 Corvette.....just completed $5,700 "Upgrade"....transmission seals, brakes, new tires, plugs & distributor, valve cover gasket, new fuel pump. Kenny called every couple weeks with Updates & to get Approval....did everything promised.

I ended up using Morrison due to my vehicle breaking down on the road in front of their shop. After the fact, I'm saying that breakdown was fate and I will definitely return to do business with them again. Fantastic customer response time, clearly outlined what they would do and how long they would take. My final bill came in LOWER than I was quoted! I even got a follow up text checking on how the car was performing after repairs. This level of service is almost unheard of these days. Thanks for the experience Morrison Automotive

They are really great! Did great work on our 2011 mini clubman. They have done several repairs; fuel pump, water leak and water pump. They are trustworthy and honest.

Purchased a crate engine Part BP 3024CT from Blueprint Engines for my 85 Fox Convertible and it seems things just can't get going in a positive direction. I did speak with Kenny the owner and he said the car did start but was coughing and such couldn't hold an idle from sitting up so long, I was so happy it started, I never thought it would again because of the condition it was in when I saw it. So I've given up on that 85 Fox GT, the rain, the heat, the cold weather, the vandals has took it's tole on that STANG! So much work and Money, WOW! That car will not perform the same..It's time to move on, Get started with something else, Lord I wish I had NEVER! taken my car there, now I have NOTHING! Crate Engine, New Carb, New Cooling System, New Ignition Pertronix Ignitor 3, New Rear End, Wheels Tires , GONE!! God is Able, He will Provide.. Thanks MorrisonService: Engine repair

Updated 6/30/20: Another quick, pleasant experience. Got oil changed and tires rotated. In and out fairly quickly, and didn t mind the wait. I have only had maintenance done so far, but have been looking for a shop where I can go, or refer people to, when repairs or problems come up, and can be sure it s a place I can trust. Highly recommended!!REVISED: Went back for second oil change. Continue to be impressed by service and price. As I have waited for my vehicle, I have listened to other customer interactions - always prompt and knowledgeable. Will continue to go back!Went here for an oil change and tire rotation for my Lexus, as I didn't want to go to the dealer. Quick response online by email for an appointment. Very fair price. Was impressed the mechanic asked to look inside console and glove box for tire lock key before going through vehicle. He also took time to reset the maintenance reminders and talked to me about air cabin filter. Waiting area was nice and quiet. Will definitely go back and highly recommend!

They were able to get my vehicle in quickly which was great because most places could not get me in quickly. I wasn't aware that they charged a minimum of at least $150 to diagnose though. I felt that was too steep for a diagnosis that wasn't going to be rolled into the actual cost of the repair. I ended up taking my vehicle to another shop. I don't think it's a bad repair shop, just a little too expensive.

I'll start by saying I'm very particular on who I let work on my truck. Having said that I did a lot of research on who to let align my 1988 Chevy S10. After doing a bit of searching I found Morrison Automotive and Truck. I saw they were highly rated and based on what I could tell have a well maintained shop and professional atmosphere. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment over the phone. I was fortunate to get a same day appointment and from the moment I called until the moment I was handed back my keys after my truck was done being serviced I was nothing short of completely satisfied. The staff conveyed their appreciation for my business and made me feel welcome. The technician's were professional and did a great job getting my truck aligned and driving great. Thank you Morrison Automotive and Truck!

My husband and I went to multiple automotive shops in Summerville. The dealers are too expensive and the chain shops more than once tried to sell us unnecessary services. A friend recommended Morrison Automotive to us a few years ago. Every time we have an issue with one of our vehicles they are very professional, kind and honest. They always get our vehicles in and fix them quickly. Most importantly once it's done, the issue is resolved. No continually taking it back in to revisit the same issues. The best part is that Kenny, the owner, personally texts us after each visit to ensure our vehicle is running well and that we are pleased with the service. Can't say enough about this place and won't be going anywhere else!

I took a friend of mine's Ford Escape there to get worked on because the vehicle wouldn't start and I had him looks at the brakes because the car wasn't stopping as well as it should have. I spoke with Kenny and explained to him all that was happening to the vehicle. He was able to get the vehicle up and running in a quick matter and was able to inspect the brakes. He cleaned the brakes off and the car was able to stop better than it did! I HIGHLY recommend Morrison Automotive! PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST WORK!! Had oil change and tire rotation. Kenny and employees were professional and friendly. Waiting area was clean and comfortable. Wait and charges for services were reasonable. Would recommend.

We have had issues with a misfire in the engine. Morrison's was honest and truly got down to the problem. We were told we needed a total engine rebuild from another place. My name is Debbie Orsini, I don't have my own google account. Anyway, after reading that one review where the customer told everyone to stay away, I felt I needed to write. Several years ago after my husband passed away times were very tough for me. I had some major car issues and money was tight. Kenny allowed me to pay off my bill because I needed my car to get my special needs child around. How many places would do that? They were so helpful and HONEST! I have been bringing my vehicles there for almost 10 years now. Several times I thought there was major things wrong with the car and they told me it was something small. They never try to jack up prices. They keep me informed every step of the way and never do anything without going over it with me first. Tammy at the front desk is so nice and helpful! I wouldn't bring my vehicles anywhere else.

I have been using Morrison for several years and on several older cars. Two reasons I like them: 1)My gut feeling is that they are fair, honest,and working to save me money by only recommending necessary repairs. 2)Every time I get my car back it is fixed correctly. Simple as that.So I do recommend Morrison, especially if, you are tired of getting the runaround or feeling like you are being taken advantage of by other mechanic shops like I was.

First visit I just got an oil change, quick service, all good. Second time I asked for a quote on my power steering hose. It was a 70 or 80 dollar diagnostic fee, which is a lot as well as $17 dollars for some power steering fluid which can be bought for about $2 related to how much they put in the car. I am not saying this place is horrible, I would just do research if you want to save money. Quoted around $1k for my rear axle seal, went to NTB and they quoted $394. Quoted a lot for the power steering hose, I think around 600-700, got it done for 200 at Auto Repair Experts in Goose Creek. They were exceptionally nice at Auto Repair Experts and walked me through my FREE diagnosis, showing that I had some fluid leaking from my radiator and my brakes were in terrible condition. Overall I am sure this place does good work, but you will pay for it. I understand margins and theirs are gigantic without as good of customer service as Auto Repair Experts.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

My experience at Morrison automotive at first was good.. Nice environment nice people for the most part and a new building. Soon after I left my car I waited for two hours, keep in mind they were only checking a headlight after me calling them to get my results that they apparently had for sometime they informed me that I needed a headlight module and the cost for them telling me that information was $100. The total cost of the work being done to my headlight would of been $1250. They are great at making people believe them. Please choose yourself another automotive for car repairs Morrison automotive will charge you way too much.u

We brought our hotshot business 3500 dually and car trailer in for Federal DOT inspection that is required to run our business. Both truck and trailer was inspected and given a pass inspection. My husband went out and had no trailer brakes at all and was unable to stop his truck. This incompetence and lack of doing a job correctly could have cost him his life and our company could have been shut down due to falsified a Federal DOT inspection. We brought the truck back and he wanted to charge us 550 for electrical work that should have been done on inital inspection that we paid over 800 for. Had our truck for 4 business day and didn't inform us that both batteries in our 2019 RAM just happen to go dead in their possession. Nothing was wrong when I dropped it off. And he wanted to charge to replace something that they did when trying to get the brakes to work on our trailer. The only excuse Kenny (owner) gave was he is short handed and don't check behind his employees. I would not recommend this company to anyone if they value their life. I feel that the owner Kenny is very incompetent and a unprofessional person who tried to down play the situation by lower a bill. I will be reporting this company to the FMCSA for falsification of DOT inspection.

Whatever work I bring their way, they always do a wonderful job. My truck leaves the shop riding better every time I take it there. The two ladies who run their customer service desk are some of the nicest and most helpful I've ever met, and Kenny Morrison is a trustworthy guy who runs a very open, honest shop.

I had the driveshaft for my '07 F150 replaced 3/19/18. The job required some welding, which I am unable to do as I don't own a welder. Morrison not only did the work in one day, the welds look great. I would also add I noticed how very clean their shop was when I picked up my truck. I wouldn't hesitate to return in the future. Thank you Kenny, and your team.

We had an issue with the brake lines on our food truck and the team at Morrisons took great care of us. They had the issue diagnosed and repaired in a timely manner and they communicated well with us every step of the way. We will certainly return to this shop in the future for our automotive needs.

I had my 2015 Wrangler lift kit and tires installed on a very short notice around Christmas by these guys. I had to return for them to replace a bolt that fell out while I was going down 26 but I chalked that up to my luck and decided to remain loyal since they installed my lift kit on suck a short notice. So when I needed new brakes and my transmission fluid changed I returned. My bill for just my rear brakes, rotors and transmission fluid was over 850 dollars(excessively high). I make a habit to make sure the work has been done so I checked my transmission pan and saw that it had not been touched. I called the shop and was trying to calmly explain what I saw to Timmy when I realized he hung up. 15 mins later Tammy calls me back to tell me they forgot about it and would mail me a refund. They mailed me a $250 check but I still have squeaky brakes, same transmission fluid, and $600 short. I spoke with the owner Mr. Kenny and He was very nice to listen to my complaints but I still recommend to anyone considering this place to steer clear. OVER CHARGING FOR SUB PAR WORK.

I have had my vehicles serviced here for years and I have always thought the prices and recommendations were in line and honest. They run a clean operation and have good customer service to boot!Read the 1 star reviews with discretion. if you do not maintain your car you cannot blame the mechanic for the news you get to fix it :) just like your health:))
