Had the best service today from Tracy. I was driving By myself when I Realized my tire was quickly losing pressure. I called Mavis and they told me to come in immediately. They were outside, waiting for me to direct me where to park. The entire process took about an hour and a half which is not bad considering there were several people ahead of me and I did not have a scheduled appointment. I will definitely be back to the store. Thank you Tracie for making everything run smooth in a stressful situation for me.

Josh and Tracy are great, they helped me by telling me what was needed to be done to my car, gave me a great price, and did the work in a very short time. I will be bringing my 2008 Ford Mustang back to them when I need some work done. They are my go to place for car maintenance now.

Made an appointment for an oil change. Arrived on time and left 2 hours later. Another customer was there for 4 new tires and alignment and was there over 4 hours. So if you have a lot of time to blow for basic services you'll be happy. I've never seen a place not trying to get people in and out quickly, so they can service more cars and make more money. Friendly front desk girl, but NO respect for customers time.

UPDATE:Sean (southeast Mavis rep) took amazing care of me and got me a new wheel to replace the damaged one.I updated the review from 1 to 3 stars following this. This is a strange situation because while Sean was great, I still can't advise anyone with high quality wheels to get work done at this location unless the equipment is repaired/replaced to not damage wheel mount points.Had Mavis install a tire I bought through Amazon on a BRAND NEW wheel.I unboxed the wheel in the shop and had a whole conversation with the employee about issues with shops chipping/scratching wheels. Employee said "we'll do our best".After installation, the wheel was rolled out into the lobby heavily scratched and chipped around the lug & hub holes.I had the employee enter a "Vehicle Incident Report" and will modify this review based on the outcome of that.

I had a neighbor help me jump start my car and came to Mavis to get my battery checked out. When I mentioned to Tracy I had it replaced at a competitor with a "golden touch" six months ago he took a quick look at it. Turns out they had left one of the terminals loose. He didn't even charge me and had me out in no time. Its hard to find a shop you can trust so I am really glad I pulled into Mavis.

Not a good first impression. Had appointment for oil change on a Saturday. Monday, found a leak in my driveway. Drove to work on Tuesday and called to see if I could get in on lunch hour to have it checked. Arrived 11:15 on Tuesday, noon still sitting in lot. Not one car in a bay, guys sitting around smoking and talking. Also, they did not put a new sticker on. Never coming back to this place.

Amazing service, I got four brakes, rotors, and tires replaced as well as my wipers, an oil change and they changed my brake fluid. They got it all done within hours and were incredibly kind and helpful. Shout out to Josh and David! I will 100% be back if I need anything else!

This place is great! They were so kind and friendly, even on a Sunday morning! Our tire blew out on Saturday and we were 4 hours away from home, they took it right in on Sunday morning and had it done so quickly!! Appreciate them so much!! Great service, great people!

I went to Mavis knowing my car had some issues and I was very nervous regarding payment and getting everything fixed. Joe and his entire team at Mavis in Summerville helped me understand what needed to be done, get financing squared away, and truly just lifted a weight off my shoulders helping me get my car fixed up. I can t thank them enough for the kindness and transparency through the whole process. To Joe, Josh, David, Jim, Chris, and all the technicians that helped with this process: thank you, for everything you ve done to help me with my car.

Gentlemen! Even though they were closing, they pulled my car in and patched my tire. These guys tire repair and replacement, oil changes, alignment, brakes, and some wheel bearing replacement. They are just great! (Joe, the manager, is properly patching my tire, which involves an inside plug and heavy duty glued patch. Saved my tire for $24! I'd paid $20 for an inferior just glued-patch that failed.)

**This is the old NTB location in Summerville**Made an appointment to get new tires on a Thursday afternoon and was quoted about an hour wait time. Waited well over 2 1/2 hours with both kids in tow to get them done, such an inconvenience and they were in Zero hurry to get me out of there. The next day I notice my back tire is already showing low pressure I keep an eye on it and the following day not even 48hrs later it s almost flat. I go back and tell them what s happening with my brand new tire the general manager tells me it will be about 3 hours before anyone can look at it for me. I said that s crazy these tires are not even 2 days old, not 1 person was in the waiting area nor outside. He did not care and was very snarky and rude. Not only do I have a brand new tire going flat , my sensors were not placed back on the correct sides and are now showing a reading for the wrong side. I will never recommend this place to others! Wasted my hard earned money on a place that doesn t care about their customers.

Had an oil change and tire rotation a couple of weeks ago at the location on Old Trolley Rd in Summerville, SC. I was told, and have the estimate to prove, that I was told I needed brake pads , rotors and control arms. Just took my car to the dealership and was told that I need none of that work. BEWARE! THIS IS A DISHONEST SHOP

I have to say that usually there services are well worth the help but the friendliness they have to work on with customers because it could become a fail if your customers are disappointed so please make certain people are happy because how you treat a customer will always say another message to those who continue to come so please stay positive and very level headed I've been coming here a long time but today I was extremely shocked on the communication just remember your customers are the ones who help businesses

I had a slow leak in a tire. I called these folks and they made an appointment for me. They fixed my issue in a few minutes and saved me a lot of money! David was great!

Actual score 2.5. Pricing was fair, my issue was workmanship. Car drove fine going in, just needed two new front tires. Upon leaving I noticed a hard pull to the right, I gave it several days to correct before taking it back. Mavis readjusted the alignment for free, but I had to wait longer than expected and the vehicle still pulled to the right, just not as bad. I ll end up taking it somewhere else and after the time and alignment I ll end up overpaying for the tires.

Last minute, an hour and a half before the store closing Jason took our Taos in to patch a tire that Gerald s says they would have to keep our car till Monday.Definitely recommend Mavis Tires and Brakes on Trolley Road Summerville!!! Even did it as a no charge for a Thanksgiving Blessing!

When I called Saturday around noon it was confirmed they had my tire size in stock and I let him know I would swing by the next day as they said Sundays were 9-5. The next day comes and at the front counter they let me know they aren't taking walk-ins today and I should have had an appointment. they end up saying if I leave my car there can come pick it up just before closing. Upon just getting my car back started driving off and the glove compartment popped open. Easier to overlook miscommunication once you realize ur glove compartment had been unlocked and ide imagine gone through. Do not recommend this business.

So I bought tires on Amazon and they recommended me to Mavis tire. I had 12, 5/4 boards that were old and rotten that I was going to take to the dump Mavis tire said they couldn t do my vehicle because of these very lightweight boards they wanted me to go unload the lumber then come back then go back and load it back up. My father owns a mechanic shop. I know how these lifts work the people that Mavis tire are very lazy very inefficient very rude and I was very rude to them. . I would never recommend this place for anybody not even my enemies, the young punk kids. They have working up there like to sit there and run their mouth and that s about it they don t know how to work with tools because I m going to personally put these tires on the rim by hand.

Absolute best service! We came in 20 minutes before closing and the team was more than happy to help us with purchasing and putting on a tire! Josh, Joe, and Marz saved my day. A+ customer service. A+ quality of work

It s always nerve wracking for me taking my car to mechanics since I m not very knowledgeable, but these guys at Mavis were very helpful, honest and trustworthy! They made everything clear to me what needed to be done and the price. They kept in contact about issues they found and their quote was right on point! No surprises! Thanks so much for not making me feel like a dummy!! FIVE STAR SERVICE RATING from this lady!
