Paul was right on time with everything. From the moment I called this shop , I knew it was the one. Always answered phone on time with great communication and not feeling rushed. He got me in immediately and my car was finished within a few days. Definitely beat the Ford Dealership! Paul showed me exactly what was wrong with my transmission by showing me the exact part of what he had to fix and I love that. I am so pleased with how my car runs , it s like new! I would recommend this shop to everyone. Thanks Paul. :)

Beware, Warning, Dropped off my truck for brakes, 7 months later I get a call telling me I need to get my truck. Disc's were put on front but no master cylinder or lines, he had it sent to my house, my hand made matching fenders were gone , he said they lost them, I had left a 2500.00 check he cashed it, today I found, he even put three lug nuts back on each front tire, I assume he list the other four too. No brakes, no brake lines, tires put on unsafe, ripped off.

I noticed a leaking of transmission fluid and called A and P Auto because of their positive reviews. Paul was quick to check and verify the leaking transmission, explaining the probable causes in a kind and professional manner. I was given a quote for estimated repairs to be done and assured a time frame for the repairs to be completed. The total cost was very reasonable and the repairs were actually completed more quickly than anticipated. My experience with A and P was; professional, reasonable rates, fast service. My trans went out in my Yukon while I was out of town, I had it towed to A&P because the tow truck driver recommended them. They told me it would be three days for the rebuild, so I rented a car for a week to be safe, it has been over a week and my truck is still not repaired. I got a call telling me it was ready and they were test driving it, apparently the trans failed during their test drive. They called me tell me that the trans had failed and it was not their fault and that I need to pay them for the first rebuild and for it to be rebuilt again. Really. Stay away from this shop unless you're a good old boy..

Awesome mechanic shop! Mr. Paul was very honest and very helpful! He took his time to explain to me the issue of my vehicle and gave me different options that would be more cost efficient for me. His friendly and professional demeanor also made it easy to do business with him. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

My clutch was on its last leg and he told me to bring it on in. Dropped it off at 7am and had it back by 1230. I am in awe of the speed and price! 100 out of 10!! Amazing place!!!

Paul rebuilt a transmission for me a few years ago.It has performed perfectly so I didn t hesitate to call him about replacing a transfer case in a Land Rover. As usual he was quick to fix it and at a reasonable price.I definitely recommend A&P transmissions!

I did not even end up going to this place but spoke with them over the phone. I was given great advice to keep me from coming in and spending a lot of money or wasting it on a service that wouldn't actually help the problem. Thank you for the integrity up-front! That can be a hard thing to come by, especially in car repairs/sales it seems. My experience makes me want to check this place out for any services I need in the future.

Paul Heath has excellent mechanical skills, and specializes in classic and muscle car repairs and builds, as well as diagnostics on specialty and domestic cars. Paul also stands behind 100 percent of his work! Paul is also known by many of the local classic and muscle car owners who thrusts his work ethics. Which is why I take both my personal and show car vehicles to him for repair and maintenance.

Went to them to repair a valve cover gasket leak and they charged $360 for a $150 job which I would write off but here I am two months later finding out that they neglected to put the seal back on correctly which caused a leak and now I m having to repair the starter which was not a problem I had in the first place. This is by far the WORST $360 I have ever spent these people are running a sham behind the McDonald s on Main Street.

Just want to say this place is awesome , just dropped my truck off to get the transmission rebuilt and they asked did I have a ride back home and I said I would have to call an uber they said we will give you a ride how freaking nice giving a complete stranger a ride great customer service thank y'all again can't wait to get my truck back .

I had a great experience with this shop. I had my clutch and rear oil main seal replaced along with having my shifter linkage adjusted. I got my car back fast and done right. Thanks

The owner is honest, reasonable and he's speedy. Difficult to find someone like this these days, but that's how you stay in business and have repeat customers because transmissions are not all he does.
