If there were more than five stars, I would give them. These folks bring integrity to new heights. I've taken my vehicles to them several times and have always been given straightforward answers and solutions at better than reasonable prices.After a long trip towing a camper, I took my truck in this morning for a general service and inspection. I noticed fluid leaking at the front and Dominic immediately showed me the leak in the radiator. They replaced that, changed engine oil and transmission fluid and filters and, in the process, one of his techs found a potentially disastrous leaking front main seal which he replaced as well. All of this was completed within hours and I was back on the road for probably half of what a big box store would have charged.They're a true asset to the community. In this time of tight budgets and high prices, show them some holiday appreciation. They truly deserve the gratitude.

I was lucky to find this shop on Google map. Owned and operated by nice genuine people. I got my car's rear shocks replaced and they also offered to change the rear brakes as they found it had worn off. Very transparent about pricing and charged the right amount.

I needed tires swapped on two lawn mower rims, 20x10.08. I called and asked if they would do this for me. They told me to stop by. I went in the front, rang the bell as the sign directs. Gentleman came and told me to bring the tires and rims around. He swapped them for me. Took 10 mins maybe, he charged me a small fee I paid and was out of there. I appreciate them taking the time to swap the tires.

The only place I bring my van for tires and service! Employees are knowledgeable and personable. I ve encouraged many friend and family to get their cars serviced here. Definitely returning!

They did an amazing job! Everyone there was so polite and pleasant. They went above and beyond to help me out. Even came to my home to help remove the tire! The whole time being very patient. The owner worked w me the entire time ( I was struggling lol). She was very nice and didn t over charge even after going out of her way to help. Absolutely impeccable customer service on top of being honest and kind people. They were able to get a repair done in less than 2 hours that the dealership quoted me a full day of work and $1000 more than what I paid here. Very kind people. I needed two of my windows fixed and Dominique was able to tell me exactly what was wrong with my windows and he didn t need no $150 for a dx fee to do either. Owners and mechanics are amazing!! Anything as simple as very good quality used tires or a brake job... to bigger jobs such as motor and transmission rebuilds... very reasonable prices for parts and labor rates. My vehicle will not see any other garage R&D will get all my business and recommendations

I've been bringing my car here since I got it a year ago.. everything from suspension to oil changes, these guys do good work and have reasonable prices..they're always honest and won't try to overcharge you. The younger men there are also pretty skilled too. ive never had to wait too long except when having tie rods replaced and I was even given a ride home from the owner, can't get any better than that right? so anytime you need a quick repair followed by a friendly professional atmosphere go to R&D..you never have to worry about anyone getting a nasty attitude or being rude with you either

I have been meaning to leave a review for some time. The owner was absolutely amazing, we had our timings mixed up and she offered to fix it for me even though the mechanics were gone. She started up her machine and had it done in no time, she even picked up on the cause of my tire damaging so easily. Absolutely amazing. I will not go anywhere else for my car.Service: Tires

Dominic and his employees are awesome they had to fix rotors and calibers and brakes on my car they got it done and are reasonably priced. I recommended them to my sister and my niece they brought their car to them expresses their concerns they took care of them got the part and in 4 hours the work was done. I also sent my daughter there because the place she took it to another shop who took advantage of her and when she had problems i sent her to them they got it figured out and got her right. I would recommend R&D tires and Auto shop to everyone . The customer service is great which is what i love they dont charge an arm and and a leg like other places. My sis said Dominic and his employees were great and shes bringingall her cars to him i myself will not take my car to anyone else they are great peopleServices: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

I moved to Spartanburg in 2016 & started using this business for oil changes & reading codes. Pricing was much lower than expected & service was great. Needed a tire changed shortly after that & bearings packed on my trailer. No problem. I had been quoted $765 to replace a rack & pinion steering assembly by a shop during an emergency visit for quick diagnosis on a Sunday. Took car by R&D on Monday & that problem turned out to be a loose power steering hose on the reservoir that was tightened at no charge. R&D Tires & Auto is perhaps the most honest shop that I've ever used & I highly recommend them. They do great work also. Extremely honest and inexpensive. I thought I had a nail in my tire, came here for a used tire, they had one in stock. The owner took the tire off, only to find it was a tiny tack that had not gone through. They didn't need to tell me that and could have gone ahead and sold me a tire, but they were honest and at no charge put my original tire back on. They are an honest family owned business that deserves to be supported.

This shop is awesome! I came in not knowing what was wrong with my car and the guy fixed it in 10 minutes. He was very patient and kind. Also, I left my pocket book in the office and they had it there waiting on me the next morning! They are super trustworthy and honest! I'm really appreciative of their help!

I love this place. They offer such quality work with great prices. Discount tire quoted me $900 for four tires with NO warranty. I went over there and got 4 new ones for $440 with a 55k miles warranty. Guess which one I chose?I Highly recommend R&D Tires.

I came in about a problem with the bottom of my car making a "knocking" sound, he drove my car and figured out the issue immediately. I was there for about 10 minutes - maybe lesser than that! Customer Service was splendid and my car drives much better now! Thank You!

Having recently moved to Spartanburg from New York, I knew I needed an honest mechanic for when my car started acting up and I only wish I'd found Dom sooner. He's helped me out of a bind on many occasions and I can always count on his work and tires being great quality at the lowest prices around. Very grateful for R & D and will always recommend

I am leaving this review to let others know the mechanics team and front desk at R & D tire and Auto Repair are a great group of people who I TRULY hope will ALL be repaid in some way shape or form for their quality repair work and customer service. I had used them once before back in March/April 2020 when they were located on Union St. I took my truck in because I had a loud squealing noise coming from under the hood and my steering wheel was hard to turn when making tight turns. Needed power steering belt replaced and one of my pulleys. Oscar, the mechanic on duty was friendly and patient with me even when I mistakenly told him wrong year for my truck which meant the wrong parts were ordered which had already taken an hour to get there. He was polite and very understanding of my mistake, ordered the correct parts for my truck and waited patiently for parts to arrive which took another hour. He did the repairs and there was no more squealing or hard wheel turns!!:) Recently on 6/28/2020 had my truck towed in to their new location on Canaan Church Rd. due to my truck shaking, hesitating, jerking and stalling on me. Rebecca, who works the front desk of the shop, called me on 6/29/20 to tell me my fuel pump needed to be replaced. I gave her the go ahead with repairing it & my truck was ready for pickup on 6/30/20. I had no other way other than Lyft to get to the shop. When I explained this to Rebecca she told me not to worry & offered to come and get me from my home to take me back to their shop to pick up my truck!! About 2 hrs or so later after stopping at my mom's which was across town,going back across town to my house,then to take my daughter by her workplace my truck started to jerk,hesitate and stalled again:( I began to worry & called the shop to tell them what was going on with my truck. Rebecca got on the phone with me & once again she told me not to worry and that Dominic one of the other mechanics would come to me where I was located with my vehicle. When Dominic got there he was just like Oscar & Rebecca, polite & assuring me not to worry they would take care of it. He came within no time with his tow truck and got my truck loaded on!! He drove me,my mom & my two daughters to my house. Once again as he was driving us all to my house he kept reassuring me not to worry, they would take care of it & Dominic towed my truck back to their shop. Dominic told me it was something going on with my distributor as well which was causing my truck to jerk and stall out. They replaced my distributor that same day! Dominic brought my truck to me at my home after this repair!!:) I've had no problems with my car since then:) They charged me nothing more for the tow or distributor repair!:):):) Such a great team of people. Still not sure if I thanked them enough!!!!!! So I wanted to leave this review for their whole team to know that my family and I are FOREVER GRATEFUL:) They are fair and honest which is very hard to come by these days. Being a single mom with limited income I know this for a FACT! I HIGHLY recommend their services. So I had a tire go flat a couple days ago. I called around and every place was pricey. I went by R&D they had a practically new tire on my car in 15 minutes. By far the best service I ve received and the owner is a nice honest woman. Best place to go for exceptional service

Had an excellent experience here. The owner went out of her way to make sure everything was done the way I asked and even personally went to advanced auto to exchange my part after they gave me the wrong one. Amazing prices and great customer service! Offered me a drink and a snack while I waited. Would 100% Recommend to everyone I know!

Best tire place in town these folks are the very best all around ! Not only are they super fair on pricing but they also do excellent relatable work and they work really fast too! If your in a jam and need honest realiable work done, don't look anywhere else- go to R&D for all of your tire needs !

Dynamite service , I only used this business for all of my auto and tire repairs . Their level of auto knowledge is astonishing . I have always been skeptically toward mechanic shops even the best well known names . I use to believe all of them were greedy for a quick buck and definitely believe they too advantages of women. Well that all change when, I started doing business with R&D Auto . They only charge and fix what broken or need repaired . Honest , reliable , professional, and most of all , they stand by their work and they give your money $ worth . Wonderful service once again!!! After my son destroyed his motor- Dominique did an amazing job replacing engine and finding and fixing everything affected. Rebecca was super helpful in finding parts and getting best prices for me. Can t say enough how helpful, knowledgeable, and nice these folks are! Worth a visit for any car needs!

Wonderful people that actually care and keep you informed! They will have all my business that I can bring them and friends and family if theyll come. I didnt have alot of money and needed a tire. They found a used one that looked brand new. I'm elated with the attitudes and just felt comfortable with them. Thank you r&d for your service to my truck! God bless you

Stopped in today to get a tire fixed. I expected to have to wait as I had no appointment. The owner said she could take care if it if I didn't mind waiting. She fixed the tire in no time flat. Ha ha pun intended. I highly recommend R&D and will use again if needed.

Awesome place and nice people..every time I need a tire, always go to them. Even when they were on union st.. I'm appalled at the bad reviews.. never seen anything but professionalism.. believe me my eyes are open. It's a great place.. I highly recommend

So happy a friend recommended them! After the last year and a half ive been going to a local mechanic and repeatedly finding new things wrong a few days later ,things not even done properly or at all. My coworker RAVED about Dominic and his shop. Definitely proven right . In addition to great work I didn t have to wait a week for repairs or even a simple oil change like before ,I walk into R&D five mins later my car was getting looked at ... he kept me up to date even picked up parts and found someone to fix what couldn t be fixed in his shop all within four hours I had my car back fixed ! 10000% recommend ... will be my go to shop!
