I don t know who is leaving here something positive first, this place waste your time and money for absolutely nothing I had to take time from work for nothing my car was there for 2 days they checked absolutely nothing first day they said my alternator bad , second day - good, promised call me first thing in morning LIE for full 2 days check my alternator only,really? It s kids program in school go check this service was very BAD idea the lady knows nothing and said absolutely nonsense

Had to have car towed in. They figured out what was wrong and got us the part for the best price. Very good mechanic service. Reasonable too. Had to have vehicle towed in and they paid for and added back to our bill. They are busy, so there might be a day or so before they get to the car. But that's no problem. If they are busy, it means they are a good mechanic service. Very pleased with everything here.

Great work! They changed the timing chain on 2004 Ford, and the oil light flickered afterwards, and these guys came to me because I was in route and couldn't leave; they checked the car out ask me to come back to the shop after work. They changed the oil again and put a new oil sensor without charging! The lady at the service desk is super helpful! Great team! Honest and reasonable! Been going there 15 years for everything. I had a valve cover gasket replace last year and today I went in to John's Auto Service with what I was told by another quick service center was a leak in the gasket. They took my car in right away and discovered that it was not a leak but a mess left by the other shop. I am very impressed with their service and will only use them from now on. Thank you for doing such great work and providing a trustworthy, competent garage to service the community!

Had an AWFUL experience at Dixie Tire and Automotive, and brought my issues to John's. They got the problem corrected with my front brakes and done so at an affordable price. They were understanding of my previous issue and were polite throughout the exchange. MUCH BETTER experience here than at the other shop! Highly recommend.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

The work they did was great and timely. The owner was very knowledgeable and polite. I really want to rate them highly but there was a major issue. I dropped my car off just for diagnostic work around 8:15am and I didn t hear anything all day. I called at 2:30pm to ask if they d had a chance to take a look and put an estimate together. However, I was told that the work was already done and my car was ready to be picked up and that I owed $280. In most states it s illegal to do auto repair without the owner s prior consent to the estimate. The work that they ended up doing was work that I would have done myself, had I just been given the diagnostic information. This is incredibly unprofessional and unethical. I did not authorize the work done on my car and was forced to pay for it regardless. The owner explained that the person working the front desk and the phones was fairly new and that it was an honest mistake. He apologized and I appreciated that he owned up to his staff s mistake. But the fact still remains that I paid $280 for a service that I didn t consent to having and wouldn t have had done. I chose this shop due to the high ratings and reviews. I just hope that this review will prevent this from happening to anyone else.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. John and his team are Probably the best mechanic shop in the area. You should definitely give them a call and explain your problem. John was very kind and honestin helping me with my 2 vehicles. I'll definitely be going there for all my mechanic issues from now on.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic

First. I am a very do it myself person. But I know my limits. Since moving from Greer. I have been looking for an honest, dependable shop that I did not have to drive a long way to get to. I have been looking for just this shop. And man am I glad I have found it. They are awesome. And they do it right at a very fair price. You will not be disappointed.

I went to another repair shop and they told me nothing was wrong with my AC. I knew something was wrong, so I brought it here. He told me what was wrong and gave me great advice and took great care of me! Where are the other shop charged me $40 to do nothing! He didn't charge me anything to look at my car despite me not being able to get the work done.Service: Air conditioning

I Highly recommend John's Auto Service. I stopped in unannounced and he made time to check my vehicle. John let me know what needed to be done and how quickly the repair needed to happen. First visit and I'm very impressed. I had an oil leak on a Subaru Forester with 268K miles. The replacement seal failed, but John did some research to find this is a problem with high mileage Subarus. John came up with an innovative approach using a Chevy distributor clamp to make the repair so the seal held. I'm trying to get 300k before getting another Subaru. John saved me a bunch by doing the research and thinking "outside the box" I think I've found an auto service establishment I can trust. I highly recommend John's Auto Service!!!

At my appointed time I was treated professional and personal. Had my 2007 GMC tuned. Reasonable and knowledgeable. This shop is very busy. Make an appointment. Highly recommend this shop.

Good experience, John spent alot of time examining my car to get to the root of the problem and what explaining can be done to fix it, good costs and honest. Highly recommend.

Honest, dependable, reliable , I cannot say enough good things about this shop. The mechanics work hard and tell you the truth about what needs to be done to fix your car. If you need a good mechanic, this is the place to go.

Best auto shop out there. Super friendly guys and they'll all go out of their way to make sure everything is fixed and serviced correctly. I refuse to take my vehicle anywhere else.

I have been there twice very early in the day and both days he did not have time to even look at mlmy car to give me an estimate for repairs. I hate to give him just 2 Stars, but he's just too busy for his own good.
