My husband and I traveled to Tryon, NC from LaGrange, KY to see our granddaughter's Horse Competition. While there, the Transmission on our 2016 Silverado went out, we had quite a dilemma since we were pulling our 20 foot Travel Trailer. My husband made several calls to the local dealerships with no luck. He was referred to Wakefield Automotive in Spartanburg, SC, 25 miles away. This was on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving 2023. The Service Department worked us into their schedule Monday morning and had us back on the road Wednesday afternoon. We would like to thank Mark in the Service Department and especially Bryan Coffey Service Manager for their compassion in helping us get back on the road.

My husband and I recently bought a used Volvo from this dealership. We drove from another county in NC. We could not have had a more wonderful experience. From the sales person, Charleen Durrah, to the gentleman who assisted us with our loan, everyone we dealt with was polite, not high pressure and very knowledgeable. I drove 45 minutes past my local GM service center in Greenville, SC in order to reach Wakefield Cadillac in Spartanburg, SC. A strong recommendation from a relative who'd had a very positive experience convinced me that it would be well worth the effort. Firstly, their approach to service and customer care is vastly superior to my local dealership. It was a "...yes we can..." vs. a "...not really interested in your business..." attitude. Secondly, I drive a car no longer sold by GM. Instead of coiling back in horror at the mention of a SAAB airbag replacement, the folks at Wakefield dug right in to the job, locating the part and making it happen in a very timely and confident manner, which I really appreciated. And finally, I made the mistake of coming in a day early for my appointment which had been scheduled three weeks earlier. Rather than asking me to come back the next day and wasting a trip, they made room for me and I was on my way in short order. Outstanding job to Christine and her service team at Wakefield Cadillac of Spartanburg. Your excellent reputation precedes you and that, in my book, is worth it's weight in gold!

Great people who are respectful and professional. They had my interest and had my car's performance in mind. This is a good service department. The service department may influence whether or not I purchase another Cadillac from Wakefield. These people are first rate.

Dropped my 98 Cadillac deville off for a complete headlight assembly replacement. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the service was done in a quick and timely manner.. The price was reasonable and firm(No hidden fees) I would HIGHLY recommend coming to this shop and I will continue too come to this shop for all my car needs!!

I would give a negative if it were an option! Took our car in for repair, and a simple piece wasn't replaced properly which caused the fuel line to rub and a hole was the result. Upon taking car back, and being told they would make it right, they said the tech who worked on it "retired two weeks ago." So, they couldn't discuss it with him. Therefore, they would pay half the repair costs. I will never return here, and you shouldn't either! AND the service representative yelled and argued with me. Plus they never have a loaner when they keep the vehicle for several days.

Jay thanks for the response but this is how my experience went with dealing with the Service Department. I wanted to get my escalade service because i was getting the traction control and stabilitrac lights. I took it in and was told the P0011 code was found for camshaft actuator and was also told that the engine would need to be replaced. This was completely fine with me cause the price was reasonable plus 100k mile 3 yr warrantly. But it all changed once i brought paperwork detailing my extended warrantly. Service guy called my extended warrantly and schedule me an appointment to bring my truck back on 7/2/18 for them to check it out. Ok a week or two go by and i don't hear nothing its a holiday week so im patient. Third week i go back to the dealership and they can't find my paperwork telling me that it not even on the schedule to be looked at. Once again they take me information and i leave telling me they might be able to put a rush on getting it looked at sooner so i leave. Seeing that my truck is still parked in the same parking spot. Forth week i ride by the dealership once i got off work to see if they started work on my truck but its still in the same parking spot. Fifth week i go back to the dealership and i think he was the service manager tells me that there short handed and that they would call me the following week. This week goes with no called. Ok the six week i go to the dealership and picks up my truck from the same parking spot that they left it in. Today 8/20/18 I take it to the Chevy Dealership at 7:30am. Got a call back at 9:00am about my truck was told what was wrong ok'd to the service and at 4:40pm was picking it up. Mr. Wakefield if the service department was that short handed why have people waiting. Just be honest and tell your customers the truth. I could been had it serviced somewhere else since it was still drivable and knowing about the recent car break ins going on.But thanks for the opportunity have a good day.

Not much has changed. They ordered a piece that broke in my window they ordered the part I took it in the next morning and in a couple of hours they called and it was ready.

Even with appointment for an oil change that doesn't matter then why do you make them need to be first come first serve or appointment and be honest about it

I bring my Cadillac to them with problem as no start, they find problem after few days, bad ABC module, so I bring them parts after that it was take them 2 weeks to install it , 3 hour job, that what they charge me , actually it's about 1 hour job, any way . Finally after month my car in the shop they call me to pick it up, when I checked my car I find a wet spot under it from brake fluid , they check on it and find what one of brake line was loose, they don't even say sorry, after I take it on the road it was no brakes, when I call them about , they told me what they replace just ABS and have nothing to do with brakes, .... I'm never be back to that shop again....
