Had a startup issue for the first time with my car. Immediately brought it to Advance Auto Parts on 29, and the employee not only tested the battery but noticed the battery had some corrosion. Without hesitation he offered to clean it at no charge. Very helpful and knowledgeable guys at this location.

I came here with a battery issue one morning, and Jamie helped me out immediately! He realized my battery connection was loose. He fixed it and tested the battery- no BS, no upselling, just quick and friendly service. Saved my morning lol. Very happy with the service here!

The gentleman today who always helps me out to make sure I'm not spend money on things I don't need once again showed me what 5 star customer service really looks like from the moment we stepped into the store to the moment he installed the battery he was patient with us the entire time. He even found time to make sure that other customers standing in line were helped so that they also received the same service we were receiving. This will be my go to place whenever I need anything pertaining to my vehicle. Thank you!!!!

Kerry was super knowledgeable and able to help me understand what parts were necessary today and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Most part stores make me feel like I'm being taken advantage of and I always end up spending more than I can afford...It really felt great to leave without breaking the bank, knowing my problems were solved! Thanks!

They were very busy. HOWEVER, I was treated with respect and they did everything they could to help me resolve my car problems. I highly recommend anyone needing car parts to visit the store and be understanding & patient when they're busy. They will get to you & do their very best to help.

Only place in the area that had a magnetic STUDENT DRIVER sign for car. These signs are helpful in, letting other drivers know not to turn on their ROAD RAGE when we have a teenager learning to drive.

The parts I went for had to be ordered. No big deal that is normal. But then There was lots of confusion within the process of inventory and shipment. However, the manager there was extremely helpful, called other stores and got my parts the next day. Then gave me a discount for all the trouble. That's customer service at it's best. So the 4 stars is only because someone who keeps up with inventory for advance auto, needs to do better. Other than that 5 stars.

I hate to leave a one star, I always visit this location and always have a good experience. But today upon entering I was greeted with what seemed to be a forced hello while leaning over the counter. I wasn t real sure where to locate a part so I asked the guy who greeted me. He really seemed bothered and was rude asking me what I needed. After about 20 seconds he stated with a attitude that he has been working on cars for over 25 years and has never heard of what I needed. As a customer and have also been in management and customer service for ever found this very negative and rude. After he insisted he look at my car to see what I need. It clicked for him realizing what I asked for in the beginning was what I needed and he was confused. Upon the checkout he never looked at me and then proceeded to ignore me by picking up his personal cellphone to have a conversation while ignoring me while I was checking out. I had much more to purchase but decided to leave and go elsewhere. Customer service is everything in my opinion and how I was handled was very poor. Maybe Mr. Michael W (the name of employee on my receipt) needs a refresher on customer service.

Usually very customer friendly especially the commercial side. Counter employees are typically great at customer service this being said, today I ordered some brakes online and 40 minutes later they still haven t arrived to the shop. I called commercial dept. and got no answer (they usually go home 5-6 so I understand) I called front counter and told the gent that I ordered them a while ago and he got snappy with me and slammed the phone down. I went in ten minutes later to pick up the parts and everyone there was polite but one person at front counter would NOT look me in the eye. I walked in and he whispered to a coworker and smirked. I used to be a manager at O Reilly Auto Parts and I ve written people up for less than that. This guy may of been having a bad day but he especially shouldn t take it out on a customer.

I came in cause someone told me one of my rear lights was out. I wasn't sure if it was my taillight or brake light. Stephen came outside in the cold and helped me. Although it was just my rear lights he got me to test all of them just to make sure I was all good. He quickly got my order done and I was out the door in less than ten minutes. Stephen was very kind and courteous. Thanks AAP!

The staff is VERY knowledgeable and EXTREMELY helpful! I've shopped here on many occasions, and have always been satisfied with their customer service as well as with the selection of products. Of the several times that they didn't have something in stock, it was delivered with almost lighting speed at no extra cost (when picked up at the store). Wow! If you have questions about ANYTHING automotive, or need any kind of automotive products, this is a fantastic store to visit.

If I could put less than 1 I would. I spent alot of money fixing a problem on my daughters car with this store. After which i ask for there help with clearing the code. The manager claimed "we cant clear codes". Which unknown to him they had done this for me before on other vehicles. I did it at home no problem. I just wont be using this store again. Very lazy manager.

Yesterday I needed to replace a battery that was still under warranty but was not in stock at my location. Twice the young man helping me at the Westgate location asked an older gentleman if he should give the "battery in the back" . He produced the battery and I took it home. After I transported the battery down to my boat and the plastic cover was off, the top of the battery was cracked, there was no month/ year sticker on the battery and it only registered 9.6 V( checked it when it would not crank my boat). I had to cart the battery back to my house, return to AA, and wait in line again to get a good battery. On my second trip, they pulled a battery off of the retail floor. It works.Although I cannot prove it, I am very suspicious that they knowingly gave me a bad battery the they had "in the back".

Absolutely the worst auto parts store I ve ever been to. Waiting 20 mins just to be helped. Then they didn t have the o rings for a 1995 Lincoln Mark viii. The same o rings found on every 4v and 2v from Ford for 15 years. Then I heard the same thing the 3 people in front of me heard. We ll we don t have it but my neighbor store does.Waste of time going here. Just go to the other store.Advance auto. Save some money close this store and keep the neighbor store cause apparently they don t stock parts anyway

Store is well stocked and reasonably priced. A few of the employees are great and helpful. The rest I feel, pass me by to rush to the "motorhead" type people which bothers me. My money spends the same as theirs.

Omg. these guys and gals are always there when I need a rescue. It's been my battery was loose, once it was in bad need of a charge, they have really just been a great relief since I'm no longer near my dad/mechanic. They answer so many questions for me.

DO NOT call in parts over the phone and expect them to be ready !! Even if the person on the phone says they have them ready. That's the experience I just had. Here is the kicker........... I came in to pick up the parts I just had stock checked on the phone. AutoZone employee never picked my parts. I arrived to find this out. Why even place a phone order ??This is the funny part. The employee had an explanation. When I questioned him he told me AutoZone NEVER pulls parts because most customers never come in to pick them up. Laughable. Not sure how AutoZone makes it in a service market with a NO PULL policy like that. What made this trip even more frustrating was that I was there to pick up parts for someone else. So I had to get on the phone with that person so the counter person could get all the information again. A waste of time and totally unnecessary. Never had this problem before.Highly disappointed. O'Reilly Auto Parts is just down the street. That's where I would go first if it were me.

My husband and i visit here often because he has a heart for cars and loves fiximg them. If theres someone on the side of the road ive saw him stop numerous times just to get them back moving and he always reccomends advance to everyone for their parts. Tbey have good prices and always have amazing help with anything u may need to know. Just ask and they always have an answer for u and whats si amazing is they help you to come out as cheap as possible verse others that go the expensive way on you to get your problem revolved.

I m giving every store a 1 whose employees use the covid pandemic as an excuse not to provide proper service. Advance is now refusing to run analyzer tests on customer vehicles, citing the pandemic as an excuse. What d ya know, mechanics are still performing this service, apparently to their demise.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Hub store for local area. Has a lot of parts. Prices are on the high side of reasonable. Not too bad to get in and out of from the street. Over all a good store.

Great store. This is the hub location for the Spartanburg area, so most of the parts you'll need (basic parts anyway) they'll have in stock right in store. Guys are always really helpful.

It don't say much for family when your own cousin ignores you but I'm giving a four-star rating because it was pouring down rain and the guy did get down on his knees under my bike and help me find the right nut to put on my exhaust pipe
