All I can say is WOW about Tampa Bay Jays. I am a retired Army Combat Veteran and I will give it you straight. Bottom line up front, Tampa Bay Jays is an A+ business. He is knowledgeable, personable, expeditious and economical. That s a tough combination to find these days. I live in Augusta, GA and did my research on my seadoo with a seized engine and everything led me to drive 3 hours away to Tampa Bay Jays. From the first time I called Jay, I could tell he truly cares about his customers. As soon as I arrived with my seadoo he and his two assistants immediately stopped what they were doing, introduced themselves, asked me some triage questions and immediately got under my ski while it was still connected to my SUV and tried to fix it on the spot. This is the type of service you get from Jay and his team. You can tell from his stories and pride from the many skis that he has resurrected from the dead, pulling engines, upgrading turbos, and adding crazy stuff like Nitrous, that they have a true passion for this stuff. Because Jay owns his own business, there is no corporate overhead. What does that mean? He is not loyal to the big box companies that force sales and profits. He doesn t rip you off. Jay is true to his reputation and only charged me for the Busted Jet pump and some labor, nothing more. Since he had my ski apart he saved me $$ on extra services I wanted done full service, oil change, spark plugs, metal ring, upgrade the prop. His prices beat anything in Augusta by far. Not only did they repair the same week and have it ready that Friday, they go above and beyond saving the damaged pump and showed it to me when I arrived. They even went one step further to show me the error codes from the computer that they fixed for free. If you are in need of some Jet Ski service, do not waste your time with long wait times, questionable service and high prices .Stick with Jay and his team and you will not be disappointed. My motor blew on FXHO called Jays on Monday dropped ski off on Wednesday. Jays hooked me up with a brand new motor straight out of the box with 0 hours and by Friday my ski was given New Life. I was very impressed a job well done. Even cleaned the hull looks brand new. Jays has earned my business

I recently took a jet ski that needed an engine replacement to Jay's. He was very honest and helpful. They kept me up to date and notified me if there were any issues. When I went to pick it up, Man I was impressed! he went above and beyond with the work that he did on my ski. He cleaned it very thoroughly inside and out. He is obviously very knowledgeable in this field and does his best to advise each client the best way he can. Money well spent to a great business! A+ service, 10/10 reccomend. We tried to ride our ski today and it wouldn't run and were and 1.5 hrs away from home. Called this shop based on reviews and he had it fixed and ready a couple of hours later. It runs so good now! I don't even know the last time we got such great service somewhere. The place we usually use would have probably kept it for 3+ weeks. Will be driving our ski to him every single time it needs something! Thank you thank you!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Don t take your ski anywhere else. These guys are LEGIT, Trustworthy, knowledgeable and very nice. Jay and Mickey, I enjoyed doing business with y all. Very upfront and professional I can tell both of y all enjoy fixing pwc s and aren t in it to get rich. Thank you again, Y all are good people. Tampa bay jays powersports is simply the best!!!Ps. I drove 3 hours round trip to drop off and pick up the ski. TOTALLY WORTH IT. Even with $5 a gallon gas

I had a problem with my Sea-doo jet ski. I called Jay on Friday and left a message. He returned my call within the hour. We talked about the issue and he recommended that I bring it in for him to identify the problem and provide an estimate. I brought it over on Monday and left it with him . I assumed it was going to take a couple of days to get it fixed. Jay called back about 2 hours later to say that he identified and also fixed the problems. I was able to enjoy the afternoon skiing on 3lake. Great sevice. Highly recommended him.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I bought my Very first Jet Ski on July 19, 2019 and it was the BEST experience I have ever had purchasing something that will bring me plenty of HOURS of FUN for YEARS and YEARS to come! Jay is one of the best Jet Ski Mechanics I have EVER met!He really knows his stuff and he will NEVER lie to you about anything that you need done to your personal watercraft.BEST PRICES IN TOWN BY FAR!!!!!!

Jay is the MAN when it comes to work on your jet ski. I'm a motorcycle tech ( 50 yrs experience - ' A BEST DEAL CYCLES ' in Seneca) , ..If you want fast , honest quality repairs or performance work , JAY is the person to go to for ALL your jet ski issues . GREAT guy !
