This company was dispatched via the insurance company. They never showed. We attempted to reach them multiple times, with multiple phone numbers. The phone line went straight to voicemail every time. This is beyond poor service.

My car broke down on the side of the interstate in the middle of nowhere. I used the Allstate app to request roadside assistance. In a matter of minutes I received a text that Davenport Wrecker Service was coming to my rescue. Within 30 minutes they had my car hooked up to the tow truck and we were on our way. The customer service I received was outstanding and I m very thankful for Davenport Wrecker Service.

HORRIBLE! Was contacted by them for a tow which was set up by my insurance company. They lied and gave me the run around about me cancelling the reservation and tried blaming me for their lack of coordination and willingness to give an accurate ETA as well as tried soliciting to fix my vehicle. Stay far AWAY from this company....

This company was sent out through AAA to tow my car. When the driver towed my car he took off the front tire and put it in the back seat when he could have put it in the back of my liberty. They also sent out one driver that said my car could not be towed with a flatbed and needed a wheel lift. When the wheel lift driver got on location he said it needed a flatbed. Then the dispatch told AAA that I refused service. I have a recorded conversation with dispatch telling her to do what she needed to do to get the job done. This company is clearly confused and should not be a AAA service provider. They are lazy and give AAA a bad reputation. I could not imagine voluntarily using their services.

This shop was recommended to me to diag. a problem to my 1998 Corbra, twin tubor, 4.6 eng with only 29369 miles on it. I called this shop's tow company and told them not to try to start vehicle and to winch on flatbed tow truck. The car would start but would shut down. I was told tow truck would be at my house by 12pm. I waited until 3:30 and had to leave. I recieved a call from tow driver at 5:30 and was asked if car would start so he may drive onto flatbed, I told him not to start but to winch on truck. The next morning I confirmed arrival of car and was told by<John, the manager that it needed a turbo without them even looking at my car!!!!! I was told that there were 2 cars in front of mine and it would be a few days before they could Diag. the problem. I waited 2 weeks and went to shop were a mechinc told me it needed a started. I left note to have "John" call me. He then called me a week later and stated car needed a starte at a cost of $230 and was 500 dollars to install, before they could Diag problem. I used another complany to have it tow back to my house at a lower cost and this shop charged. They was nothing wrong with the starter when I park it at my house for tow truck to pick up. I have left 3 mgs for owner, Danny Davenport, to call me about replacing my starter which will not be by this shop. I have yet to hear from him and will not recommend this shop or his body shop to ANYONE. I am an insurance ajuster and can not "steer" people away from this shop but suggest that anyone considing them for repairs. They are truly unprofessional in there attitudes, mechincal abilities and customers concerns and service.

The tow truck drivers are wreckless and irresponsible. Every single day I see one of their trucks. They are either tailgating aggressively, driving wreckless speeding past me or cutting me off. This company needs to get a handle on their drivers. I have nearly been run off the road by those jerks. Would use them if they paid me. Going to start calling and complaining.

DO NOT GO HEREKenny does not care about his customers one bit. If he makes a mistake, he will not hold himself accountable and he will blame the customer. Additionally, he is HORRIBLE at communicating. My car was there for five weeks getting rust repaired on the rear quarter. This should have taken at most four days worth of work. He dawdled around when he was supposed to be ordering parts, then I finally took it upon myself to do so. I was informed several weeks later (due to his lack of communication) that this was the wrong part. Whenever I called to check on the status of the car, Kenny was unavailable, and I would be told by Ashley the car would be done in x amount of days. Then the date would be pushed back again and again. I finally had a lawyer call for me and kindly ask what was going on. Kenny then got very disrespectful and belligerent and told me he was only going to do half the work.The most hilarious thing is that when I got there to pick up the car after five miserable weeks of uncertainty, Brittany informed me, "We were trying to help you out, but then the lawyer called and we decided we were done." On what planet is their poor communication, minimal adherence to their own timeline, and anger at me "helping someone out"? I'm the customer, and I have a right to be mad if they do something wrong. Not by these people's standards.Also, when you call them and have to get a little angry (which every customer everywhere has the right to do), they will accuse you of being "rude" or "ugly" and will stop altogether and break an agreement you made. For example, Kenny broke the dome light when putting a panel in my car. He agreed to send me new one. I emailed him three times over the course of a month asking when it would arrive, so finally I called. Brittany said I cussed out her receptionist, which was a blatant lie by the way, and they were not going to mail me the light. Kenny emailed me saying "do not ever email me, text me, or call any of my numbers or have anybody else contact me or my employees." He went on to say that it was me who broke my light, which is funny because he admitted to it a month ago when he agreed to send me a new one. I would take it to small claims court but it's only a $20 part so it isn't worth it.The best part was when he said he would press charges for harassment, which is funny because no such statute exists based upon my actions. I was simply trying to come in contact with a business who owes me for damages. I think it is really the last bit of defense he could get down to. He has his back against the wall, and when he does, he and his employees get vicious.Bottom line is this: Do yourself a favor and do not go to this shop. I read the bad reviews before I had them work on my car and thought "Oh Kenny is a nice guy. These customers are in the wrong." Boy was I wrong. If you can take one thing from what I wrote, let it be DO NOT GO HERE.

AWFULLLL!!!! They did a transmission job on my sisters car and it was never right. It is just two years later and $3,000 later and the car needs another transmission. Worse thing, my 19 year old sister died of cancer this summer and we do not want to junk the car, but these people will not accept the fact that they did a horrible job! I am not sure if they even replaced the transmission because it's now full of metal!!! Now we may have to junk my sisters car and that is pretty much one of our fondest memories of her! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! AWFUL!!!!!

I took my sons car into Davenports Auto to have the motor gone thru, following monday spoke with britney asked her to hold off starting for a week my personal car had been hit had to get that issue resolved sh replied ok. called back the following monday said go ahead with subaru everything is resolved was told car would be started immedtly.this is two weeks there and first week was me stopping work, so after 4th week car there I called to get update car had not been started, I was informed they would not start cat till I paid them some money, well I had never heard of a garage wanting payment before work is done I asked around a few more garages and was told that is not the normal practice after 5 weeks nothing done on the car, finally gave the shop 500 dollars to start the car, 6th week still with money in hand they didnt start car, my son graduated this year, was told he would have car by graduation, 2 and half month car at this shop, well that didnt happen either I had to come out of pocket to rent him a car to go to beach for senior week, stilll no car, this cost me 430.00 dollars, finally got the car july 3rd 2013 after almost 9 weks at thsi shop which every other garage said this should have taken no longer than 2 weeks for the complete rapair. the car about 20 ft the check engine light came on, turned around took it back, they said oh yea you have some codes well I just paid you to fix the car why wouldnt you inform me of other codes, my comment to them, no real answer given, car broke down 3 times within first 2 hours of having it after picking it up from garage. son drove the car to myrtle beach on the 4th of july calls me from the beach tells me he just checked his oil there is no oil in the car, I call the shop owner he replies with there was oil when he left here. car was towed in on the 8th of july for the shop to find where all the oil went, picked up on the 9th with no real reason as to why all oil was gone, son leaves with car gets about mile down the raod, car has a 1200.00 carbon fiber hood that has to be locked with a key, the shop leaves the hood unlocked and the hood flies up and smacks the windshield destroys the hood and and puts my sons life in danger, I called the shop irrate and mad as h--l, the owner want take the calls, or return the calls, But he sent thsi text to me, verbatum, " get your panties out of a wad" now my son just left this shop had his hood come up and put his life in danger, I dont get a Im sorry or is he ok or what can we do to resolve this " I GET A GET YOU PANTIES OUT OF A WAD" LATER THAT EVENING HE TEXTS ME WITH HE HAS NO RESPECT FOR ME OR ANY CUSTOMER THAT COMES INTO HIS HSOP OR CALLS HIS SHOP BEING IRRATE HAVE ALL TEXTS SAVED ON MY PHONE, MY RESPONSE WITH I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE IRRATE AND UPSET YOU COULD HAVE COST MY SON HIS LIFE. HE THEN RESPONDS WITH OUR BUSIONES RELATIONSHIP IS OVER AFTER I JUST PAID HIM 2100.00 DOLLARS AND HE HAS A WARRANTY ON THE WORK HE JUST DID,PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU TAKE ANYTHNG TO THESE PEOPLE, VERY POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES THE OWNER CARES NOTHING ABOUT HIS CUSTOMERS AS HE SHOWED WITH HIS TEXTS, "GET MY PANTIES OUT OF A WAD" THAT IS NOT SOMETHING A BUSINESS OWNER SHOUDL EVER TELL A CUSTOMER""" update BRITNEY THE OWNERS WIFE CALLED WEDS AT 10 AM SAID WE ARE ORDERING A NEW HOOD FOR YOUR SONS CAR AND WILL TAKE CARE OF THIS ASAP, TODAY THURSDAY THE 11TH, THE OWNER DROPS THE CAR OFF WITH SAME SMASHED HOOD A CHECK FOR 300 DOLLARS AND A NOT SAYING YOUR CAR LEAKS OIL AND WE WILL NOT SPEAK TO YOUR ARE YOUR FATHER ANYMORE, THE HOOD WILL COST AROUND A 1000.OO DOLLARS AFTER SHIPPING THEN I HAVE TO INSTALL AFTER THIS WAS THERE PROBLEM, AND NOW THEY ARENT TAKING CARE OF WHAT THEY WERE PAID TO DO TO BEGIN WITH BE WARE STAY AWAY

Was paid by insurance company to fix collision repairs, which in account where not all fixed. Also paid extra out of money pocket to have whole car painted which they did not do. When i confronted them about the issue the whole deal changed. Needless to say these people have poor communication skills and will take you for a ride. Do Not Go Here.

bought a car from a used car lot, when issues came up, asked us to take it to davenport for a second oppinion. Davenport repaired the car, and proceeded to charge us without authorization to repair. we are still fighting the legal battle to get our vehicle back. DO NOT bring your vehicle here.
