I was impressed with the quality of service not only with respect to the repair of the car but to customer care and treatment. Danny made me feel valued as a customer but as an individual. Upon completion of checkout, he walked me to the car....when others could have just handed me the keys and pointed in its direction...he walked out with me...on arrival I found the car washed and possibly waxed...looking like a new car. We have done business with Ravenel Ford for 3 years now....this is the best service we have ever had. Thanks so much...../Marv

Because I m limited on characters this is gonna be a very condensed version of my review.My chief complaints during this repair experience are the length of repair (3 full months), the quality of repairs to my sunroof (multiple visits), the lack of communication on the status of the repairs over the 3 months they had it, and the cleanliness of my truck when the repairs were complete even after I told them I wanted it cleaned. I ended up having to pay for the battery cable harness parts and labor plus my warranty deductible totaling $893.57. My service writer had even told me that they would get me a discount but that never happened. Instead, I was told that I provided proof of a discounted part too late. My truck was filthy dirty inside and out, and my fuel level was down to � of a tank when it was full when I dropped it off. The other issues I have a problem with was that it took them 2 months to get me a car to drive, 3 months overall to repair my truck, and they called me to pick up my truck twice and both times the sunroof wasn t fixed and working properly (about 50 unnecessary miles round trip).If I ever have to return to Ravenel Ford again it will be too soon. In fact, I may be selling this truck immediately because I feel like I can t trust the Ford brand or Ravenel Ford to repair my truck in a timely manner or correctly the first time. This was by far the worst repair experience I ve ever had with any vehicle.On a positive note, they were at least nice. That s about the only good thing I can say about this experience.

I ordered my Maverick last July from Ted at Ravenel Ford. From the time I entered the dealership and throughout the buying process my experience was better than I expected. Even though it took a while I was kept informed of the status of the build. All my questions were answered satisfactorily and there wasn't any pressure. It was truly a great buying experience. I'd do it again. Thanks Ted

I will say that buying a used car from Don, at the Ravenel Ford Dealership was an awesome experience! I just want to say thank you, I learned one lesson in all of this experience, which is, you don't have to go all the way into Charleston to buy a car. If I need another car, definitely will buy from Ravenel Ford. I want to thank you for your experience, we may be living in a rural area, but they have cars and I give them a 10 plus in professionalism. Again, thank you! The Walkers

Best experience I have ever had purchasing a new car. Been purchasing Ford explorers for 30 years plus. Ted Blankenship, salesperson, was extremely knowledgable about features of all models of Explorers. He was generous with his time, did not pressure me and was a genuinely good person. Happy that I chose Ravenel Ford.

Their service is excellent. I had a 9:30 AM reservation and they took it on time. On two different occasions, they returned my truck to me in half of the time they said it would take. I highly recommend.

Very nice people especially Terri. Also very busy and took 2 full days for a recall and oil change. Don't know if overbooked or what but what I thought would take 2 -3 hours took 2 full days and might still be waiting if I hadn't kept checking. Again, the people were extremely professional and cordial. Because of them I would return.

I purchased my 2019 F150 in 2022 and had a positive experience with Ravenel Ford. The sales side has that feel of old town dealer that is honest, upfront and personable. I had an expectation of what I wanted to receive for my existing vehicle, pay for a new and Ravenel Ford met that. Ultimately bought my F-150 at a reasonable price in one day with little back and forth negotiating. My only issue was that the CarFax report online did not match the actual truck. There were no surprises with the actual CarFax report so I just marked this up to human error no big deal.Historically, I performed most maintenance on my vehicles but decided to have Ravenel Ford do this to help save time and to have dealer records. My first visit for maintenance was positive everything done with no issues (oil changed, tires rotated, general inspection). This past visit (11/23) was just bottom line poor and it s highly unlikely that I ll come back for service. When I got my truck back after the service I noticed a hand imprinted oil stain on the door literally like someone dipped their hand in surface oil and touched the door. Got in the truck and noticed that the center console had multiple oil spots over it. Once I got home I checked out the tires and they were not rotated (yes, this should have been included in the service I paid for). A day later I figured I should look under the truck to see how things looked and noticed that the skid plate was drenched with oil leaving oil stains on my driveway that I ll have to pay to have cleaned up. Sad that the same dedication given in the sales side of their business is not mimicked on the service side.

With regret Im writing a negative experience that I had with Ravenel Ford. In July 2023, I purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Surburban as I needed a larger vehicle to transport my family. We needed a 2nd vehicle because of the children activities. In Dec of 2023 (less than a year ago), the transmission went out in the suburban! After calling a couple of times pleading for assistance, my efforts were unresolved by the salesperson and management. I'm not happy and very disappointed with this purchase as I'm stuck making payments on a vehicle. I'm now having to replace or rebuild a transmission out of pocket on a vehicle that only served us for 5 months. ( The radio also changes stations every two minutes by itself).

Amazing staff and service department! Wesley Morris got me in and out in under an hour after another local Ford dealership told me that my scheduled appointment would take all day! Cannot recommend them enough! They have earned all of my business and I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Excellent service from salesperson, Donn Schutt and the finance manager. Not too pushy. Found a rebate that helped. Referred my daughter and son in law a few days later and they bought a car, too.

Service writer was very helpful and cordial.The car was in for repair for 3 weeks. At first it took them time to work it into the schedule. They ordered the needed parts, how ever it was either a defective part or the wrong part when it arrived. This was not made clear to us. Another was ordered and it appeared to be good with the exception of a module. It was several more days before the module was located and received. The car had been at Ravanel Ford for 3 weeks in total since we dropped it off. We feel this was an exceptionally long time, but also understand some of the hold ups. Can't stock everything that is needed or delivery is at someone else's time line. Thanksgiving fell in there as well, so there was another hold up.The only thing we can find fault with is the lack of communication as to the status of the repair and on the parts delivery.

I was there with my son and it was like visiting with friends. He had already handled most of his business was there for the conclusion. They are like family in a nice setting with a gorgeous Ford in the lobby. They have great inventory on the lot at great prices new and pre-owned vehicles. Stop by and check out those F150s..

Ravenel Ford gave me the best deal on my new 2023 Ford Raptor R! Not only do I recommend them, Bryan Smith is the salesman s I have ever bought a car from. There was a lot of calls and internet traffic over the sale of this truck. They completely honored our agreement without hesitation. My next Ford purchase will also be from Ravenel Ford!

Went there to buy a used car advertised at a decent price online. Test drove it about a mile and the car a blown head gasket. Sales manager points out 2 other cars and says he will "take care" of us. Asked multiple times about the price and was given non committal answer. Didn't give me the numbers until after having signed the papers."Taking care" of apparently meant raising the price $1000 more than on the sticker and adding $3000 in warranty that was presented as part of the price. Pretty shady practices. So much for having respect for the armed services as they claim, considering I'm a vet and they knew it. GO ELSEWHERE !!!...UPDATE. After being asked to contact the dealer for a resolution, they have strung me along for 4 months with action whatsoever.

Had my truck serviced at Ravenel Ford recently. Overall I was completely satisfied with my experience at Ravenel Ford. They started working on my truck right at the scheduled appointment time and completed the work in a timely manner. The staff was friendly and professional. I will use Ravenel Ford again in the future for servicing my truck.

Two things that I have never done, bought a used automobile and a Ford product.I regret both decisions.I bought a 2021 Ford Ranger with less than 10,000 miles on it.I never asked to negotiate with the salesman Brian. As soon as I pulled out of the dealership on a test drive the check engine light came on.With a pat on the back I was told that it was a sensor and that it was an easy fix. Six weeks later it is still shining.The service coordinator hasn t responded to my last two calls.When I did have an appointment for the fix the part hasn t been ordered.The dealership is an hour from my house and I ve been there three times for a sensor, I have no idea what damage it is doing to my vehicleI m planning on trading it out for a new one as soon as I get it fixed.
