I'm old enough to remember when 20 dollars covered an oil change so 100 dollars seems ridiculous. That said, I was in and out within 20 minutes compared to more than an hour at my dealership. Attendant could have had a friendlier demeanor but was still professional. I will go there again when needed.

Kevin, Anthony and Cat helped me out today and were very courteous and kind. Speed, cost and everything was as promised. They helped me understand the various costs and what was involved quickly too. Took about 20 minutes and that was even when they were busy with a car in each bay. Would definitely go again and was really impressed with them.

This morning 10/25/23 we pulled into the parking lot to get a quick oil change and the employee looked at us with disgust and was shaking his head as if he was upset that he was going to have to preform the job that he receives a paycheck for. We immediately turned around left and as we were leaving he was still shaking his head as if he was upset that we even had the audacity to pull into his parking lot. We drove down the road to take 5 where they helped us out with no issue.

Loved this place! I called before going in because I wanted to check on somethings. Told them I ll be there in 5 minutes and was able to pull right into a bay (luckily no one was in that bay). Kevin , who I dealt with, was nice and courteous and always telling me what was happening and what they were doing. This was the first time I have been to a place like this as my husband normally does my oil changes. I will def come back again to get an oil change from them in the future.

Worked quickly and did everything well. Got my oil changed and a new cabin air filter put in. They gave me $20 off the filter and had me set and going in no time. Excellent service.

Currently on hour 3 of trying to remove an oil plug after Valvoline Powdersville tightened it so tight a ant's fart couldn't slip through.

Left my hood open and left greasy finger prints on the hood of my white truck. No respect. Said they checked my trans fluid I sat there in my truck... They did no such thing. I checked it when I got home 2 pints low. Smdh

This review is for a visit to the Piedmont, SC location on a Friday morning at 10:00 am. Not crowded. Only one other vehicle was being serviced.Horrible experience. This business promotes quick and fast service. My experience was not quick, not fast, and more importantly....not professional. The staff was extremely unknowledgible, slow, unprofessional, unpleasant. The staff at this location have no training. They could not answer simple questions and have a very lackadaisical attitude. I do not recommend this business nor will I return. Aviod this business at all costs.

Usually a five star experience, but complications with another car held the guys up for a while. Otherwise great service

They did a great job with my oil change and let me know about anything that they found. It was a very good experience .I liked it so much I came back with my other vehicle the next day. This is where I'll be getting my trucks serviced from now on. Friendly staff great prices and get you in and out . My experience was excellent 2 days in a row.

Decently quick when compared to many others, quality employees and clean facility.

One of the last things you want to do on a day off is get an oil change, and I've had to do this many times, at dealerships and all the other chains that promise "fast" service. But, I have to say that the crew who helped us on Sunday were fantastic! Quick, honest, efficient, and friendly. Thanks, Guys!

I usually go here for my oil changes. Never had an issue. This time was different. They barely spoke with us, didn't mention other products and services that we may have needed, said my transmission fluid level was ok, when it wasn't. I had to put in 2 quarts on my own while on vacation as well as radiator fluid.. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Makes me wonder if they even looked at my fluid levels like they said they did.

Extremely over priced! Even after a 20% coupon, my wife's total bill was $100!!...for an OIL CHANGE on a 2013 Passat. I've worked at a VW Dealership that used to charge $60 for the same service!! Ontop of that, they didn't even reset the oil change notification, so we have to drive around every day with our car telling us we need an oil change...worthless service and will never be returning even though it's less than 5 minutes from our house...don't go here or you'll regret it. Go to the dealership where you will get better service and actually save money.Service: Oil change

This place is an absolute god send! My mother who is out of town and originally from GA was up taking care of my little sisters surgery that she gets done at Shriners hospital, her car started throwing check engine lights, engine noises, and lose of acceleration. She pulled in and the gentleman there came to her assistance immediately! They came to the conclusion that it was her spark plugs and coil packs. The nice gentleman went and got the parts for her and on his personal time replaced them so she could continue to drive her car! Not many places do I know will treat a woman with such utmost respect and go above and beyond to help her with all her needs, this establishment treated her with so much respect and gratitude then most DEALERSHIPS would have done. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Extremely professional and great service. It is just an oil change and I normally do them myself but they make you feel welcome and there was such a positive atmosphere there that I will be back. They checked alot of stuff that others don't check like your cabin filter and are very honest people. I know a little bit about vehicles as I am a mechanic, I did not tell them that Because I wanted to see if they were going to try and rip me off or for that matter someone else because some places do try to so they can make that extra buck. But they were very honest about all their findings and were very fair priced any time that I do not change my own oil because I do not have the time or I'm in a hurry this is where I will be taking my vehicles...

Great customer service sets this location apart from the rest! They send out great coupons and rebates often. You can't beat the service this location provides!

Carlton went above and beyond. He was quick and efficient but more importantly, extremely kind. I ll be the first to admit I know nothing of cars. He checked my brake light and then the brake fluid level. He explained it was very low and told me where to go to get some and how to fill it. I would have never known. I appreciate the time he took explaining the process to me. Carlton is the real MVP!Jennifer D.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I will never take my car back to this place. I went for a simple oil change and they told me my battery was dead, which I m now not even sure if that was true or not. I allowed them to replace the battery and then when I drove to my next destination, my car died and would not restart. I had to call another company to come fix my car (the battery was not connected correctly). When I called valvoline they only offered to replace the battery (as if I would ever let them touch my car again) or give me 20% off my next 3 oil changes there (again as if I would ever return). I asked to talk to the manager and they said they are not allowed to give me his contact information which I think is highly unprofessional. This is a very poorly run business with incompetent employees.

Great service, but expensive. This Valvoline is fast and transparent. If you choose to sit in your car during your oil change, there are screens showing you a live feed of the person under your car so you can see what s happening the whole time. They also start a timer when your car is pulled up for service in order to get you in and out ASAP. The staff will explain things to you and talk about the overall health of your vehicle. They offer additional services without being pushy. An oil change here will cost you a bit more than an appointment at a dealership, but I believe you are paying for convenience.

Quick and easy. Tires were not cheap. Bait and switch happened to me from online to in-store. Enough said. The guys in the garage were nice, the young guy behind the counter was trying to do the right thing and put up with a lot from his boss (not leader). His body language and words were a dead giveaway that his boss was trying to teach him how to load the sale. Just explain the features, benefits, & value to the customer and if we can afford it, yes we'll do it. You get me yo? PS - don't talk about your employees in front of the customer or at all. It may be okay up in New York, but still not cool. Hope you take this kindly and seriously, I would love to see you guys thrive and avoid these shady tactics.

If I could give them -5 stars, I would...I waited for 2 months to ensure that I did not write this review out of anger. I patronized this business for eight years. The staff changes constantly at this location for a reason. Now, I know why. I went in for an oil change before my husband and I went on a trip. I left and the light came on in my car. I drove back and they checked the car several times to make sure the car was good to go. I went on a trip with my husband. As he was driving, I noticed several lights came on in the car and it stopped in the middle of the highway. I had the car towed 100 miles since we were in the middle of nowhere. When the mechanic examined the car, he came back and asked who did the oil change. I pulled out the receipt and he recommended that we sue this establishment. The cap had not been screwed on correctly. This resulted in a broken piece which he said no one could have missed. We were told the oil spilled out into the car and it would have exploded. The worst part was that the oil spill caused $2500 worth of damage. I went back to Valvoline to get a refund for just the oil change. The manager told the employee to tell me that after reviewing a video that she did not see a problem. If you are planning to get an oil change at this establishment, notice the rate of stars on the reviews. They are never perfect. This is why...They should be retrained and given classes on safety. They could have killed us over basic negligence. I am disgusted and I have asked the corporate office to stop sending us coupons as well. I hope the corporate office reads this and this helps to save someone's life. Buyer Beware!!!!

I usually do my own oil changes. I popped in one day since it was raining and I didn't feel up to it. Service was fast and seemed good enough. The next time I go to change my own oil, the filter won't come off by hand at all, and barely comes off with the clamp. They must not have lubed it before installing it, or they used a filter wrench tool with a breaker bar.

I have been to this location several times before and had pretty good experiences, but last week the experience was horrible at best. I was the first one there and they were not under staffed at all. I needed a transmission flush and oil change, I waited in the bay for them to finish the oil change which took 45 mins cause of them being to busy acting like children on a field trip rather than at their job. They guy tried to change my oil twice cause he was bot paying attention to what the other guys were doing. Then I was told to pull around to the other bay to get my transmission flush. I waited about 10 more mins to be told they did not have the correct fluid. The manager did give me a discount cause of all the bs. But after I had been driving a little while I noticed my car was much louder than it normally is. I then discovered they did not put my air filter box and connectors back togther properly at all, and I had to go up there agian for them to fix it. If I could give them negative stars I would have. Please take your business elsewhere.

Had an oil change, battery replaced, and a few other checks a few weeks back. Mind you, I am the only owner of this vehicle, bought brand new(no previous owners). Yesterday my car was barely running, had to be towed today. Mechanic called stating there was no oil, also stated that they changed the filter but did not replace the oil, now the motor is basically blown requiring cam shaft, valve replacement, cylinder head and more. Called local, then I was referred to manager who was half asleep, only for him to tell me I needed to speak with another manager, well they never called me today. So I did call coporate to file a claim, and guess what I was told....... another manager would call me...it s almost 10pm...we are laying our grandmother to rest tomorrow( yes, my grandmother s funeral), I had to borrow my disabled father s truck...also, I have two small children that require getting back and forth to school(which I stated several times), do you think anyone has followed up with me..? No, I was ping ponged all afternoon...this company really doesn t care how their actions affect others. People are disposable to them. I understand making mistakes, but the fact that you re prolonging the process, and not assisting a family in need with no vehicle (because of your poor service), makes you unethical and that my friends is simply the worst individuals to deal with. They simply don t care. I did the steps I am supposed to do, I reported it immediately to CORPORATE, only to be ignored.
