Highly recommended. Jeremy and team provided outstanding customer service. They won t take advantage and work hard to provide us with peace of mind keeping our vehicles running. Good service, they were busy as bee's when I was there. I was very impressed with the manners of the receptionist ( assume that's her title)lady. She was very patient and nice to people regardless of their attitudes. She is an asset to the buiness.

I have been here several times. Today I needed a tire they had to order one for tomorrow but did put my donut tire on for me... very friendly and great prices on tires...

As our 'go to' mechanic changed ownership and we didn't feel that family service that we have had the past 17 years, we decided to try Pit Stop Auto Shop first for oil changes and then onto major engine work. They've done the front end suspension, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, control arm bushings, shocks and struts. Most recently one rear brake/blinker went out and then less than two weeks later, the other. I believe they are family owned. They are professional and personable people. They also have a super nice staff that didn't make me feel dumb for walking in for the tail lights. This stuff my hubby used to do and since he's become disabled, although I try, I don't always do things to his standards. LOL. We'll continue to use Pit Stop Auto Shop for our auto repairs.

I had car issues right as I pulled into town from Asheville on Thanksgiving Eve. The shop heard my concerns, as they were dire, and got me in right away to assess the issue. Carson was able to identify the problem and took care of it right away. The gasket on my oil filter had been incorrectly replaced after an oil change causing oil to leak out. By the time I arrived in Pickens, I had very little oil and the engine was very close to being blown. Pitt Stop and Carson saved the day in a very big way! Carson knows her stuff!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Well i haft to say i sent my diesel truck to thier shop Friday thinking i had a bad starter which would have been a few hundred to fix and these guys went over my truck and found out i had 2 bad battery terminal s saved me a ton of money most shops would have just changed starter but these guys went above and beyond awesome business they have my work from now on very professional and outstanding group of people I highly recommend them to anyone

I ve used this shop a few times, they are very honest and do good work. I m not sure where the bad reviews are coming from, I guess everybody makes mistakes and people are so quick to jump to a bad review rather than communicating with the shop. I just wanted to leave an honest unbiased review myself. I had an oil leak from my oil pan being stripped, he very well could have told me I needed a new oil pan ($300-600) but instead said hey, let s try this $10 plug fix and it worked. I haven t had any issues since. I ve also had plenty of other small things done with my car and have always left satisfied. Thanks for being my affordable, reliable, go-to mechanic for my used car!

Love this mechanic. Beyond the professionalism, some of the nicest people you ll ever meet. So happy they re close by. So trustworthy and reasonable. Car overheated nearby and we pulled in to the garage. They immediately pulled it in to look and see what the problem was. They arranged to have the needed part and got us in the very next day. Great customer service and reasonable prices. Will definitely use again.

Unfortunately they couldn't help me with my issue which was a spun rod bearing but they saw me just a few minutes after calling them and got right to work. I was working in the area and my tire pressure sensor was on. I stopped in and asked them to take a look at my tire. That was on 3/27 a little before 1pm. I walked back over and they'd plugged my tire. I paid and left and my sensor was still on. I figured I needed to drive it a little. I left work at 4:30 and drove about 10 miles and the light didn't go off so I went back to the shop. They checked the tire and it was losing air again where they plugged it. So they plugged it again and it was good to go. They had the nerve to charge me again. Their work failed and I had to pay twice. That was ridiculous but I was 2 hours from home. That's a heck of a way to make extra money.To be clear, the person that came out and looked at my tire the second time said very clearly "the plug we put in didn't work. You may need a patch instead." And then whenthey told me it was fixed, they said no patch was needed, they just put another plug in and now it's not leaking air. There was no second hole, as mentioned below. I'm not bashing the business, I'm just telling about my experience.

Our daughter was traveling back to Clemson when she blew out a tire. She was able to get her car to Pit Stop Auto Shop where she was treated quickly and professionally. They could not patch the tire, but were able to mount a used tire that will work until she can get a properly sized tire. Thank you for taking good care of our girl!Service: Auto tire replacement

This shop does not ever complete the service they claim to. My fluids were never checked and now I'm having transmission problems due to very low fluid. Also, they recommended that I buy all 4 rotors and front brakes due to a complaint that I had. I took it to a different shop who said I needed rear brakes(because they test drove it) and my rotors did not need replacing. This was a price difference of $350. I will never visit pit stop again and they will never get a recommendation from me.Service: Oil change

I just got a flat at the bank and drove up the street slowly. Ut was a look so a rainy day. The guy st the desk came out and called two guys working on a car.He said it may be a few minutes. The 2 workers came right out and went to work and changed my tire.I was so grateful. The guy inside said $8.00, I went into my wallet and said I got $5.00 , I will write a check...he said all is fine just give me the $5.00, have a good day. I went to the store and got the $3.00 and 2 fives to give to the workers. So awesome guys work their... Thanks Guys

Have known Jeremy (owner) for many years, he and his staff have never failed meeting my automotive needs, today they took care of my F150 truck in record time, that is diagnosing a rough idle (bad coil pack) and full rear brakes replacement. My appointment was for two o'clock, my truck was ready within 2 in a half hours.. wow! Thanks guys! Keep up the good work. Andy Cabrera.

Highly recommend this auto shop! I took my car there for some rattling under the hood, they diagnosed it and was able to get me an appt Within just two days when other mechanic shops couldn t fit me in until three weeks out. Then Nissan discontinued a part for my car because it is older but they were able to fix my car with parts that they had in the shop already and my car works great now! Loved the shop! Had to get some work done on my 10 year old car and they were able to get it up and running again for me. Would definitely recommend to annoyed looking to get work done on their car. Staff was also very helpful and explained what all needed to be done. Price is also great compared to most places in the area. Car broke down in front of the place they were very understanding and let me keep it on their lot until I could move it. Nice people. Unfortunately they couldn't fix it, they don't repair transmissions.

Can't say thank you enough. Went in for some air and unfortunately had metal object in the tire. They were able to give temporary fix until I could get to my tire shop. Indicated that would be an hour but in and out in 15 minutes. Real professional.

My car was running really rough and I was scared to keep driving so I called and they worked me in. The tech was Ciana and she had to change the plugs and 2 ignition coils and I couldn't believe how fast she done it and the car is running great. I will be going back if I have anymore problems for Ciana was very polite and professional. I was very pleased with my experience. I called at 2:30 and asked if my car can be looked at, as I believed I had a tire that was losing air. I brought it in, they plugged the 2 holes (from nails) and I was back at my job at 3:45 ... I'm 12 miles away, BTWGreat People + Great Service = Great Experience !!!Service: Tires

Two weeks ago my husbands car broke down in Pickens. Being from Powdersville we were not familiar with the area. Called them & asked about towing and our car was towed the next day. 3 days later the "fuel pump" needed to be replaced. Part was ordered and to repair $500. TWO days later check engine light came on once again. My husband went to get it diagnosed and it was the "fuel pump sensor". This was odd as we just bought a new fuel pump. Pit Stop stated they would repair it for the same cost ($500). We got another opinion and it was shown to us that the sensor to our NEW fuel pump was not the correct sensor compatible to our car. We then called to inform Pit Stop of this and they said "we have sold your other fuel pump, sorry get another one". This was the poorest customer service We have ever received and for this company to be "good ol boys" this was poor service.Service: Auto maintenance

Nice people. I came in with a bad tire and a leaky spare. They quickly fixed my spare tire to get me on the road and ordered a replacement tire to match my existing ones. The price was actually a little less than the big discount chain and they have my tire ready the next day. Happy to support this local business and will be back.
