You really need to hire some nice and knowledgeable employees. In my recent experiences there in your store, you have neither! Will go to Napa next time I need car parts.

Went in to buy a battery, a young man named Alex was very helpful in assisting my son. Alex said that they would install the battery and he would take care of it. Alex was replacing the battery when another associate came out to help him with the installation. While they were checking the battery, The store manager named Jim came out and starts giving them a hard time. He said customers needed to be rung up inside. My wife was inside at the time and said that only one person needed to be rung up. Can Jim or the other two people that we re working at the time not ring people up? Alex thank you for your hard work considering you have only worked there for two weeks.

I d give it zero if I could. Went inside, three workers stood around and I waited in line. Told the guy car would t start right away. He came out put the tester to the battery and told me the battery and alternator were bad. Then just walked back in the store. I went inside to see if he had a part and he acted shocked I wanted to buy something. He tried selling me a $600 alternator when I can get this rebuilt for $160. Long story short after I disassembled everything to find out it was just a bad battery. Alternator is fine. Don t go here!

I came in to the Pelzer location Saturday 5/28 to get a battery for my vehicle and Jared and Jim were wonderful. They both were very helpful. Most importantly of all they were both very polite and friendly. Jared was very informative and didn't seem to mind answering the many questions I was asking. Kudos to both of them and they deserve 10 stars instead of 5

Had battery issues, so I took advantage of their free battery testing. They said there was no problem with the battery. The tech you'd me that even if it was. He couldn't replace it and it would take at least 45 min to replace it. He suggested taking it to a dealership.Ended up taking the car to O'Reilly autoparts in Williamston. Bad battery... tech even showed me the reading on the reader. Tech installed the battery in 20 minutes. That will be my last trip to this Advanced Auto Parts.

We went here in the dark, needing transmission fluid check and refill. The employees were not motivated to help, when they finally did we had to work with two different employees to understand anything. Answers given to our questions were unclear and made us worry about our car. They were unable to help us fill our transmission fluid and instead made us buy our own funnel and stand in the dark and pour it in ourselves. Fortunately we did it right and our car is fine, but I will NOT be back to this auto parts store and I will tell my family and friends not to go here.

I went up there yesterday to have my alternator and my battery checked and the girl did and said my alternator was bad. So I went and got a new one for $200 and it wasn't my alternator it's my battery and now I'm out over $200. So I'm not very happy about it I will never go back to this store again

Walked in at 8:00 a.m. and all men at counter couldn't have been any nicer, respectful or willing to help find out what the problem was with my windshield sprayer. Two of the men came out and found the problem in just a few minutes. I'm new to Pelzer and won't go to another auto parts store. Thank you guys for your kindness and willingness to help me.

Make sure you know the part number of the regularly stocked item you seek before you go into the store. Employees are not able to access their own website due to them having dial-up per the bearded employee. Another autoparts store just down the road was able to easily find the same product. Employee was snarky and condescending. Go somewhere else where business is desired.

They were very helpful in a crisis situation and even recommended a great local mechanic that got us back on the road quick! Jamie there is the best!UPDATE: Had to pull this back down to a three, because the part they sold us was faulty, and we had to take it back. The very same person who waited on us the first time was there the second time, but was nowhere near as friendly when we came back to return the part. Since we don't live in Pelzer, we had to buy a replacement part at another store instead of simply exchanging this one. So when we returned it, we just wanted a refund. They tried every way in the world to get out of giving our money back! We finally did get a refund, but the drama thrown at us from the staff in order to get it left a bad taste in our mouth. I have always been a fan of Advance but this situation was avoidable and made me much less of one.

I ordered a car battery on line and went the following day to have it installed. The young woman who installed it was a delight. We had great conversations and she was thorough as she continued to work while we chatted.

Had to replace my battery for my old pickup. The lady that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable about checking out my vehicle to make sure it was the battery. Would recommend going here!

They were actually very helpful today I went in looking for a quick fix on a battery and the guy hooked me up..it's very much appreciated too.the blond guy.didnt catch his name but he's pretty knowledgeable on the parts...

It was an all around wasted trip. Even though we went online 1st to verify that they carried the tool we needed and had it in stock, when we got there, they did not have it in stock. In addition, the employee didnt believe us when we told him that it was a 5 tip star bit, instead of 6 tip, that we needed, but he didnt believe that a 5 tip even existed. Even after we told him that we knew for sure, because we just bought a 6 tip from o'Reilly's, tried to use it, until we saw that it took a 5, he still said we were mistaken, until he walked out and saw it for himself.

Wish belton ran their store the way this one is ran, Belton never has anything in stock, went to buy a base carb gasket, have to order everything, need O'reillys bad or Auto Zone

My new battery was dead after 2 months.The associate checked it and it tested good.I saw the good reading,but know that I have jumped it off once before.Batteries that end up with a dead cell will sometimes give a warning.I will update if my suspicions are right.I will get caught at the worst time with a dead battery,but am prepared for the enevitable.
