I have used this company for many years. They used to be Mason Tire . Great people, great service, fair honest pricing. Gene Hume the Manager is one awesome guy. He always goes out of his way to help me. If you have ANY kind of auto work to be done . go to Blacks Tire in Pawleys and ask for Gene . He will take care of you

Michael Carlton was terrific! Quite a valuable employee! He answered all of my questions and made sensible recommendations. Polite and professional all the way and earned my trust.Overall, the service to my car was done in a very timely manner and the staff was great. I ve been a customer since 2004 and will continue to return to Blacks.

Pulled in minutes before their closing time with a slow leaking tire. Without hesitation, they agreed to service our tire quickly and efficiently. Very pleasant staff, and very accommodating. Will definitely return!

Overall great experience and they have my highest recommendation. They are definitely a lifesaver!! Was recommended by another peer about this local shop and thought to give them a shot. My car was starting to make unsettling noises and at the same time required an oil change. The staff here are friendly and Luke explained to me thoroughly about what was wrong with my vehicle, which I appreciated. I was already having speculations about my brakes prior to coming in, but I felt better getting a confirmation.. unlike another local shop I've been to twice now and I've been told my car was fine both times. I would not have allowed to have my car get in such bad condition if informed sooner! Anyway, they did a great job and took good care of my car. I will be returning to this shop for my oil changes and other services! Thank you guys.

The only place I would ever trust to fix my car! Honest, reliable and friendly service!! I dropped off my car knowing it is in the best hands! I dropped it off in the morning, and drove it home after work! I received a detailed description over the phone of the work done. And received a detailed receipt of everything, too!I appreciate you all at Black's Tire, Pawleys Island!!

Customer service was exceptional and informed me the work would get done today. I decided to wait and have the work done but I expected I would have to reschedule another appointment? District mgr assured me it would be done in 2 hrs if I was willing to wait. Very pleased with communication & service rendered today!!!Thanks Again

This place saved me I was traveling to Florida and broke down in SC so I called them to ask them to look at my car since we were trying to get it done asap. They not only looked at it a half hour before closing they called me the next morning and said it was all done. We were back on the road and my car ran great!!!! And such a fair price and I reached my destination on time. Do yourself a favor and support this business I can t say enough great things about them!!! Thank you Black s tire

Dropped by to check the air in the tires of my nephew s old truck. I also asked them to check the oil, which turned out to be down a quart. They were so very accommodating and helpful! Great staff at a super shop!

Had a slow leak in my tire, no appointment necessary to fix it. I was in and out in about a half hour. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. The price was reasonable. I would definitely take my car back when needed.

The mechanic who worked on my car ordered parts necessary to complete a repair and followed up with me to schedule a new appointment. What a great process! No handoffs.

Came outside Saturday to a flat tire. Got there at 12:15 and they had me back on the road before 1:00 closing time! Had nails in two of my tires and no tread left on the other two. Thanks Gene and crew

Took 3 1/2 hours for an oil change and four tires balanced and still trying to figure out why it cost $247 for an oil change and four tires balanced. I m local and here for 60 years back in December. I had an oil change done and tires rotors it was just over $100

Unquestionably the BEST automotive and tire business anywhere around! Nicest employees, super helpful and polite, and the manager, Gene, is top notch. My low tire light came on the evening before I was leaving for a trip and it was 10 minutes before closing. They evaluated it, had a screw imbedded in a tire, they fixed it and sent me on my way. Now THAT'S good service! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!!!

I am an OTR trucker that drives a dodge dually with a 30 ft trailer. I was coming from Orlando, FL and noticed a screw in my rear tire on my way to Outer Banks NC. It was 4:40 pm when I passed by Blacks tire. I was worried they would say drop the trailer and come back the next day and be irritated I came in so close to closing time, but no! Gene is the man! I didn't have to drop my trailer or anything. Gene took care of me with professionalism and quickness! I highly highly recommend this location. Who ever is in charge just know you got the right people in the right places. All the staff was super nice as well. Thanks Gene for helping me and getting me back rolling! You are the man, sir!

I had some strange noises happening when I was going down the road. I took it by Blacks and left it with them. They got back to me and said it was front bearings on both sides. I got a quote and told them to do it. They said it would be later that afternoon or the next morning late depending on how long it takes to get the things that they had to order. They called later that afternoon and said it was ready. When I picked it up it was $20 cheaper than quoted. I'm very satisfied. Good service and people.

Terriable service. Took car there on a Friday expecting a call back for estimate. No call back. I waited until Saturday to check back in. No call back. I go there to check on my car and the establishment was closed and my car was still in the same drop off spot and unlocked .Uncloked for two days. Here is the kicker. We took the car and on Monday we returned to pick up our spare key and they still had not called us or even recognized that our car was gone Really? Not a reliable service.

I just cannot say enough good things about this place. I was having a difficult time finding a replacement tire for my BMW. Not even the BMW dealer could find one. Jeff make a phone call and I was back in business. Superb customer service and wonderful techs. I highly recommend.

The manager here is very friendly and courteous, need a TOMS sensor installed and he got me in right away even though I had no appointment. Got the car fixed for the quoted price and was on my way within an hour. Highly recommend stopping in for all your tire needs.

I've had my oil changed a few times here and now a new set if tires. They are always friendly. They are always busy. Oil changes take too long so best if you can drop off your vehicle.

This place was wonderful. Friendly and efficient, and made me feel comfortable. Sometimes women feel intimidated by these places, but they were great with me. Only wish they had a mobile service that could come to your home or wherever you may be stranded.

Black's Tire & Auto Service repaired my tire. They were professional and quick. My tire was patched. They made sure my other three tires were properly inflated. I really appreciate the prompt and friendly service Black's Tire provided.

Tesla Y rotation of tires. I dropped in and they said yes they could rotate my tires and would check the brakes. It was all done quickly and I was soon on my way. Very professional and courteous, Nice comfortable waiting room while they were doin the work. I highly recommend them!!!

Once again, awesome customer service from Gene! Dropped my car off Friday evening (after hours) w/the donut spare tire after hitting an unknown object on 17 by the S. Causeway. If called as soon as I had the flat, waiting on AAA. Gene confirmed they had my tires in stock. Gave me a rough estimate. Informed me if they couldn t plug the tire I may need a new one, possibly 2 depending on how much wear my other tires had left. I got a call around 9:40am Saturday that my car was ready for pickup - replaced just the one tire. Very pleased with the honesty and transparency (as always). Great shop with a great crew!!

We had an issue with our 2012 Mercedes GLK leaking oil after an oil change at another local shop. We met with Lucas at Blacks Tire and he got one of Technicians to look at it and found the issue and repaired it. They did a great job at a fair price! I can t say enough about this business! They are the nicest people and they explain things to you so that you understand what is going on with your car. They always let me know up front what the cost is going to be, no surprises! They have gone above and beyond for me the past couple of months and I cannot thank them enough! Car problems are super stressful but I always know I can rely on them. Thank you so much!
