Had a transmission problem on our journey home from Florida to Ohio. They stayed past closing to diagnose the problem and then fixed it the next morning. The car ran great the rest of the way home. I highly recommend this place of business. Just the nicest honest people you will ever find!!!!

We were traveling to Florida in our F350 pulling a large trailer and our transmission blew. It took 3 weeks for our transmission to arrive but these gentleman got it put in the next day and had us back on the road. They also housed are trailer for us. Excellent service and nice people. Very knowledgeable and straight forward. I drive an hour to have Palmetto work on my diesel trucks. Micah has done some pretty major work on two of my trucks. They installed eight new injectors in my duramax and regeared my Ram 2500 when I lifted it and put 37's under it. Neither job is a simple task and him and his crew made quick work of both jobs and both vehicles performed as promised. Micah at palmetto transmissions will take care of you. I have been having problems with my transmission for several months and I had been to two prior transmission shops. I had issues with my four-wheel drive while I was in Orangeburg for a doctor's appointment. Micah was highly recommended so I dropped by late on a Thursday he took his computer identified the issue we talked about options especially now while you cannot get parts he called a friend we got a used transfer case. I picked it up on Friday morning he put it in Monday and it was ready at 10:30. And my transmission hasn't run this well since I have owned this vehicle. And the price was on spot. If you're having transmission problems or four wheel drive problems take it to Micah he will take care of you he's a local hometown boy and his reputation is stellar.Service: Transmission

Brought my truck in with a vibration in the drive train. Was told it was the hub assembly. Was told their costs on the hub assembly was 425$. I assumed it came from the Dodge dealership. Only to pick up my truck and find a 309$ O'Reilly hub assembly and vibration in my truck not fixed. Very very dishonest. And would not give me the receipt on assembly so that I would atleast have warranty on my parts. I'm from out of town and was taken advantage of. Do not recommend at all.

I m very pleased with the work done at this shop. The owner Micah is very nice and professional. We had a new transmission put in our 2017 GMC Sierra. So far so good. Will recommend this shop to others

Only on here to speak for my own experience with this place.I will never ever take my vehicle to this place.Had my truck for 6months only took some where else to find out they didn't even touch my truck...so full of it..thumbs down...100Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Micah and his staff has fixed several issues with two of our vehicles. They were reasonable, knowledgeable and did a terrific job. I have not had any issues.

I bought a 1999 f250 superduty.The transmission went bad shortly after I got it. The dealer sent it to palmetto transmission. They rebuilt it. I got it back, 11 days later I get in the truck to start her up, she made this ringing noise, I get up under the truck, I'm missing a starter bolt as well as all the bell housing bolts except 2. In case you don't know what those bolts are, they hold your transmission to the motor. I call the guy up, he says he will fix it no problem. It took him over a week. I finally got it back. I thought I was good but a year later my truck starts making this awful grinding noise at an idle. Come to find out my flywheel bolts are loose. Those should have lock tite on them. They should never come loose. Its obvious they didnt check the torque in them and they definitely didnt have any lock tite on them. Don't give them your money, its not worth the hassle.

Just recently lost the transfer case and along with it the transmission. Mr Mike and his guys broke thier backs to get it done quickly and affordably. Would recommend them to anyone that needs their vehicles worked on
