This company is who you need to call if you re in need of any service such as a tow and a tire change. Me and mf were stranded with a flat tire on the side of the highway at 8 pm at night and Kelvin s auto and tire got to us as quickly as possible and got us a new tire put on. We re very thankful and recommend them to anyone In need in the area. Their service is amazing.

Our church's youth group was traveling home to Jacksonville, FL when our right tire blew out on I-26. We had already used the spare for another flat tire and therefore needed to find a shop to replace both front tires. This happened on a Sunday, so most shops were closed. After contacting AAA, we had our van towed to Kelvin's. Kelvin assured me his team could replace the front tires and reset the spare under the carriage in a couple of hours. Kelvin organized all of this while he was out of town and his associates kept me up to date on their progress. Sure enough they completed the work in about 3 hours, and we were able to make it back to Jacksonville that night.It was truly one of the best experiences I've had with a local business. I cannot thank Kelvin and his entire team enough for helping us out in a tough situation. They were easy to work with, fair in their pricing, and honest about the timing of the work. I highly recommend their services!

DO NOT GO HERE! Wish we could give zero stars. Kelvin is very nice and helpful until he gets your vehicle to his garage then he is rude and unhelpful. This place is a scam and disgusting. The waiting room and restroom are beyond filthy-we refused to wait there due to food trash and chicken wing bones on the dirty and worn out furniture. It was a 6 hour repair for a 2 hour job and I had to pull up YouTube videos to help the mechanic figure out how to remove the alternator and put the serpentine belt on. Then after lots of banging and whacking on parts of our engine the mechanic broke the air conditioner hose while PRYING, yes prying the alternator out with a pipe. Kelvin stayed in his house and offered no help while another mechanic did the repair. Upon returning home we had to have additional repairs completed by our mechanic to fix what was done at Kelvin's. (A/C hose and oil leak in unusual spot, most likely from the banging)We would have been better off being towed an hour away and waiting 2 days for the garage they recommended to open, which is what AAA was going to do.

My car was picked up and towed by this place going on two weeks ago. The customer service was handy and consistent for the towing services so that the shop owner can perform a diagnostic test as promised. Days passed by and is only able to get a hold of the owner only when I reach out for update. The owner seems as if he doesn t remember my car or knowledge of what all needs to be worked on. I m now deciding to not have my car worked on requesting my car to be towed back to where my car was picked up from. Now I m getting no response. Something doesn t sit well with my spirit on this place. Wish I ve never had the assistance from the jump. I just want my car back and to be done with this unprofessional place of business. Not dependable when it comes to consumer concerns and has no dependable peace of mind to get the job done. Only good for towing. Nothing else.

We are from PA and our car broke down 8 hrs from home. Kelvin was like a guardian angel of the highway. He went for parts and fixed our car and we were back on the road in 90 mins. Also was very reasonable about cost on a Sunday morning. He is a kind, upstanding guy.

Had my car towed there a couple weeks ago and had the absolute worst customer service with them. Had it towed on a Friday and didn t get a definite answer until the following Wednesday after getting the run around every time I called. I get that it takes time to diagnose issues and I was patient knowing that my car wasn t the only one there but come on. This place is run down, and in horrible condition. I wouldn t drink a glass of water in this place let alone spending money with them. Don t think they even deserve 1 star. Worst shop in the area. Don t waste your time.

Listen truck driver stay way from this place they are stealing from drivers. If I could leave 0 stars I would this company charge me and my husband $1,639 for a truck water pump mind you the pump cost is only $300 . I would not recommend this thief at all! After being at their shop all day. This is unbelievable .

Listen truck drivers please call Loves if you breakdown near these guys. I used these guys a few months ago my tension pulley locked up and broke my belt on my Freightliner. Loves had a 6 hour wait I called these guys they said they could get out to me within 45-50minutes so I said ok I gave them my location and told them what happened so the mechanic came out just to verify that it was the tension pulley and belts and it was. So he said I have a water pump to do on the truck that you passed before you got off on this exit I said ok, he said I m a skip him because I can finish you off in 30 min and his repair gone take a while I said ok. After a few hours passed I called to see what was going on because the part store was about 30 min away he said Awh man the other guy is tripping so I want be able to skip him, so I was like ok so after 8 hours he shows up with the wrong part. So he went back again and still came back with the wrong part, it was late so the part store was closed it was extremely hot so we couldn t stay in the truck so we got a room. Kelvin and his mechanic promised me that they ll be out bright and early to get us rollin. I told the mechanic take the part with you so they want give you the wrong part again so he comes back with the rite part but it had to shaved down a little to make it work. So the mechanic went back to the shop 4x and finally got it fixed the last time at 2pm. The parts cost $350 for everything he charged me $750 plus another $500 for freight(whatever that means) and $350 labor. So this job would normally cost $700 max he charged me $1600 and then he was very rude and he made a racist remark saying you pay the white man without a problem why are you tripping about paying the black man . So a job that should ve been $700 costed us $1600 plus $200 room and $30 Uber=$1830 This shop is a fraud with inexperienced diesels mechanics and mobile mechanics. The owner is disrespectful, rude and uneducated. They also have a young lady that lied about her name and she was ok nothing bad to say about her but Kelvin is a fraud and he is a thief. Please don t waste your time or money with these guys. He also said he was doing us a favor by getting us back rolling. MF if you offer a road service and we paying you for you services how are you doing me a favor. Again don t waste your time.

Tire blew out which caused the rim to crack on 1/28/22 along side I-26w put the spare tire on and took the rim and tire to kelvin he said give him a couple days and come back to pick it up. All week I ve been calling about my tire and rim and he ll say he need another day lying saying that he s been working on the rim that he had to weld back together. It s now 2/5/22 and I went to get my rim and was told that he never started on it. I left and came back to pick the rim and tire back up since I ve riding on a spare for 8 days and was tired of waiting now it s just a rim wit no tire on it and the tires were still under warranty he ignored me the whole time I was there and had me looking for the tire that he or one of his employers took off nobody asked if I needed help or anything but they were irritated because I wouldn t leave and was there over an hour looking for my tire wit no assistance

This is the place you want to go. It was 5 minutes before they closed and kelvin changed my tire in less than 10 minutes. Not a crazy price and has amazing customer service. If you are broken down or need a tire change go here!

Kelvin was absolutely great. New Years day, blew out my second trailer tire coming back from Sebring Florida. Not only did he take care of us on a holiday, did so at the standard price, in 25 minutes and gave me useful advice on preventing blow outs. can't thank him enough. tom Minuto, Rhinoceros Racing

WARNING: DO NOT GO TO KELVINS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS GUY HAS BEEN HOLDING MY TRUCK HOSTAGE TRYING TO EXTORT MONEY FROM ME. HE NEVER DID ANY WORK TO THE VEHICLE AND I HAVE TO TAKE HIM TO COURT TO RECOVER MY VEHICLE THIS MAN HAS MADE THREATS OF DESTROYING MY VEHICLE IF I DIDNT IMMEDIATELY GIVE HIM $5000 AND WE WONT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE FACT THAT HIS INSURANCE WAS REVOKED AND THE FMCSA REVOKED HIS DOT NUMBER SO HE SHOULDN'T BE TOWING ANYTHING. Scammers beware scammers beware scammers beware take your business somewhere else.I have one of my crew members stranded in Orangeburg and through a comedy of errors my van ended up at Kelvin non-Repairing shop. AFTER 4 days of little communication n no real estimate I got another tow company to take my vehicle to McDaniels Ford dealership. Amber in service there us the BEST!KELVIN SHOP CHARGED ME 550.00 TO TOW MY VAN 5 MILES AND TAKE THE DRIVE SHAFT OUT. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A 250 TO 350 FOR TOW AND TO REMOVE DRIVE SHAFT.Don't fall prey to this company if you break down on the highway. Even if you live in that town. I would not recommend them to change the air my tire

I ran over something on 26 and got a flat. AAA had me waiting for at least 1.5 hrs and hadn t even located a tow for me yet with no ETA! I called Kelvin and he came and rescued me and got a new tire on my car super quick! Kelvin is such a kind soul. His staff was also very nice. Thank you again so much!

Had trailer tire blowout and didn't have a spare, on a Sunday of all days!! Kevin's to the rescue!! And the technician was very nice and got it done fast!! Highly recommend Kevin's!

GMC Canyon Duramax "power reduced warning" on I95. Sucked.Call BoatUS because we were towing our boat to NY for summer. They sent Kelvin's and a terrible experience turned for the better! In contact with our driver, we wondered if we should call for a separate ride to our hotel. Drivers words... "You're in good hands, we'll take good care of you." Driver over this Memorial day weekend? Kelvin and his daughter! If you need a tow, I highly recommend Kelvin and the girls. Why? We were truly in good hands and they did take care of us! Kelvin even brought his new truck. Kudos Kelvin. You were stress relieving.

Kelvin and his staff are great! We were traveling through town on our way to our vacation destination when we were T-boned. The other vehicles bumper slashed our tire and being a Tesla, it has no spare and the repair kit is useless for repairing a big gaping hole. Kelvin s was about to close fire the evening on a Saturday when I called. They told us they would stay open and wait for us. The tow truck got us there in about 1 1/2 hours and they were waiting for us. They had a very similar used tire with decent tread to fit my car and had it on and us ready to go in about 30 minutes. They even gave us a couple water bottles while we were waiting. Great people and great service. They helped turn a terrible situation into a much better experience. Thank you Kelvin and your staff!!! Avoid at all costs! they towed my car to their place of business to do simple work only to stall for months found out parts was being stolen from my car. It sucks because I even gave a deposit to began the work

Scammer. Would NEVER recommend. Went there for a tire and they cracked my rim during the process. Try to charge me $110 to fix a problem they caused. Horrible experience wouldn't accept free services from this place. They will NEVER get another cent of my money or from anyone I know.

This place is horrible. If they dont have your tire size they will give you thw wrong size just to get paid. And they will not tell you. They have bad tires.

They towed my car and replaced my tire. Every tire shop I went to couldn't take it off or wanted to charge a lot to remove it! He got my tire off with no problem! I was done with everything in less than an hour. Prices are reasonable, but they are not very organized. My request was not placed to pick up my car after a 3 hour wait! Called back spoke with a different person and they came within an hour. If I'm in the area I would come back for other services.

I cannot write a glowing enough review!! My tire blew out on I-26 at 7:30 pm on a weekday. I called about 5 tow companies and none of them could help me. Not only did Kelvin get me the tow but my tire was also quickly replaced at his shop so I could be on my way. So grateful for the service and the price was beyond reasonable. Kelvin's is the very best. I had a flat on I-77. Kelvin's promptly dispatched its flatbed. The driver was expert at getting my car loaded on and off and was very personable. They had my tire size in stock. Upon arriving at Kelvin's, they quickly changed the tire, balanced it and got me back on the road less than an hour and a half after I called and all of this at 630 pm on a Friday night! Great business, owner & staff!! After our insurance left us stranded, after waiting 4 hours for a tow, Kelvins stepped in and became our hero. They picked up the car within 30 mins of our call and delivered it safely home. We received the best customer service from everyone involved in the business. Kudos also to hiring female tow drivers!!If you need a tow, Kelvins is your go to. The staff were all friendly, empathetic to our situation, helpful & professional. They will be getting our tow business from here on out and I highly recommend them if you want good service and a good price! Kelvin and his crew rock!!

Took my car there last Thursday he screwed up my alignment and gave me a bad tire hes just now picking it up yesterday and today like everyday I talk to him he doesn't know who I am or what he's supposed to be doing and he has my car. Hes very rude and disrespectful . And actually said he dont listen to personal problems. Fix what you destroyed.

Friday night at 6:20PM Tammy at Firestone in Orangeburg, SC refered me to Kelvins Tire & Brake. What a dump! Weeds as tall as the run down buildings, tires piled to the eves. Dirty, greasy ground, I wiped my shoes off before getting back in my car. Even there was the perveriable "Junkyard Dog." Happy to say hello with thewag of a tail.BUT.... The mechanic felt my tires, found one spliting, (which made the car vibriate, SHAKE violently, changed the tire for a used tire, charged $45. and I was on my way in 40 minutes.The old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover."Kelvin's guys found the problem and fixed it and it didn't charge an arm and a leg when the Ford dealership was closing at 6, Goodyear had already closed and Firestone was still open for 45 minutes and wouldn't enen look at it.There truly some hard working good people out there if you can find them. Thanks guys!!

Fast and friendly service in an emergency. We called in after hours because our car was overheating on a 1200 mile trip. It was great to be able to talk to Kelvin to make a plan for the next morning. Our car was the first to be looked at. They got the parts, did the work and we were on the road by 11:30 for a very fair price. Kelvin saved us. Responded quickly late on a Saturday. Helped identify the issue and get me on my way for a very fair price. He double checked other areas of our truck to make sure I was good for rest of trip home to Charlotte. Thank you Kelvin so much for getting my family home safe.
