I would not recommend going here, everything was going well until I received my car back. Upon receiving my car back; the new paint didn't match, the battery was dead, the mileage increased 57 miles, there was ants all in the car, the gas tank was empty, my e-brake handle was broken, and there is damage to the trunk latch. I had to jump through hoops to talk to the shop and try to figure out what we could do about this, but after having to call them multiple times to see what they decided to do the owner himself denied all liability.

This is the third edit of this review. My recommendation is... Make sure *everything* is on the estimate - have them walk you though exactly what they are fixing (don't assume anything). Call and ask if they notice any other damage not on estimate. If you have a time estimate, call to double check things are still on-time. Don't make plans on the day you are supposed to have your car back (even after it's been pushed out a few times).Minus 2 stars: Communication. Pro-Tek's one and only phone call to me was that they had to order parts. They were never proactive in communication. I asked for everything to be fixed, but quote didn't include everything, so now I have to take it to another body shop to to get hood and passenger door fixed.Minus 1 star: On-time. EVERY time estimate they gave was missed (phone calls, fixing the car, returning the car, etc.)Minus 1 star: Car still has scratches on bumper that were part of estimate! They offered to take my car back and fix it, but I can't be without a car again.Plus 1 star: The work they did looks good (sorry I don't have a before pic). I could only extend my car rental to two weeks & since I no longer had a car, they delivered the car to me instead of me having to Uber to the shop. The final cost was less than the estimate.Service: Painting

Took my truck here to get rust fixed on the hood and roof of my truck. After 2 weeks, these are the pictures I took the day I picked it up. Rust still between windshield/roof and on the sunroof. I have trim pieces broken and lights broken. Truck looks dirtier then when I dropped it off. This body shop is a joke. No pride in their work. I wish the same person that did the hood had done my roof, that was the only thing that looked right. We ll see how they fix it.

El Camino has been there almost 7 years and is still not done. Keep hearing excuse after excuse. We have to go by or call for an update and seldom get an answer. Very frustrated. Deciding on best recourse

Please read the reviews before purchasing.It's a shame that I am rating this place one star because the painter who works there is extremely talented. My customer service was absolutely horrible. I booked an appointment to get my door fixed three weeks in advance, and I was assured it would be done during the week I scheduled it for. When that week rolled around, I heard nothing and had to call Wednesday, to which I was informed, "Ah, it won't be ready until sometime next week." I was extremely upset because I was once again promised it'd be done that week, and now I would have to spend hundreds more dollars on a rental car. I tried to negotiate the price because the job was not completed as promised, and I was told, "Well, you've never painted a car, and that's how the world works." To which I immediately realized this shop does not care about their customers and all they care about is making money. So if you're looking for a shop to compete something ON TIME and work with you, then DO NOT use this place.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Amazing experience dealing with this business. Tiffany, the front office manager, handled everything in a timely fashion and all I had to do was drop off and pick up. My car was cleaned and ready to go. Would give this business a 12/10

They just finished removing some scratches on my Porsche cayenne.Awesome job and about $600 less than other body shops that insisted they had to dissemble the whole door and repaint everything.This is the place to go for no nonsense honest body repair.Great service, people and price for a top of the line repair job.

After being given an estimate of around $1000 for body repair I dropped off my 2007 BMW 335i at ProTek in September 2019, I waited two weeks to bring it in at their request, and delivered the body parts for the vehicle repair. They put my car in the yard where it sat for 80 days!They said they decided to change their paint booth. I would have kept my car in the garage where it has always been... but they kept saying they were going to work on it any day now and they had all the parts I had gotten for the car. So I foolishly took them at their word.I repeatedly tried to call and get updates on the status of the repair but staff there was very indifferent and unresponsive. The only way to get any information was to visit their site in person. Communication with them was like pulling teeth. No customer support from start to finish,Finally in January they started work on my BMW..... but stopped because they determined one of the parts I had brought was the incorrect part. They had the car and parts since for over 3 months but apparently never bothered to look them over.!!!!!! I shortly found them the correct part and brought it to them yet the repair lingered on.To make matters worse they parked the BMW back in their yard without tail light covers and the trunk and battery compartment were FLOODED by rain, and I was unable to start the car. A worker told me they would fix it, but two days later I had to go out there myself and drain the water myself ! No one had done it. Luckily I was checking on the car otherwise the entire electrical system could have been ruined!No apologies at all from ProTek. Their communication level and customer service is the worst from top to bottom. They take zero responsibility for their mistakes and and really do not seem to have any appreciation for their customers other than collecting as much money as they can from them.ProTek finally proceeded to repair the car , but on the final day of repair, "discovered" a dent in the hood that added $500 dollars to the estimate. They had the BMW and parts for 80 days and they could not give a complete estimate? I was suspicious but went ahead approved it just to be done with them. The bill ended up being twice what the original estimates was and the time was nearly 5 times what they told me they could have it fixed in,Throughout this time very poor communication from Tiffany the receptionist, KJ the technician, and Kenny the owner. They are not helpful people to their customers in the least.When the car finally was ready they called me to pick it up. No one came out and asked me how I felt about the job or if it was satisfactory. To make matters worse almost all the gas was gone, leaving only one mile worth of gas when I left, I had to rush to gas station and was afraid the BMW would run out of gas and damage the injectors. Really a bad experience for barely adequate work,I can't help but notice how many of their positive reviews do not mention the type of car or work done. Based on my experience I would never recommend to anyone to trust ProTek with their vehicle, Sad I had to write a negative review but I don;t want others to have the same terrible experience I went through.ped.KService: Painting

Took my car after being involved in an accident and they were exceptionally nice and professional. Kept me updated every step of the process and picked my car up and it looks great! On top of that they got it done very fast. Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs any repairs done.

Glad to finally have our car back after a month of excuses as to why repairs weren t done. There was hardly any communication either as to when certain repairs were being made. I had to call them every time for updates. They didn t even call to let us know when the repairs were finished. If you have damage to your vehicle from an accident I truly recommend you find another shop, one that will cooperate with your insurance. Hopefully I can save someone else the trouble of going through what we ve gone through.

As we were preparing to move cross country, my truck was rear ended. I took it to a shop and they told me the truck would be totaled. I said, thanks but no thanks and drove it to Charleston SC. Once in Charleston, Pro Tek was recommended. I took my truck there and Kenny and his team were amazing. They not only repaired my truck, they saved me money as well. I would highly recommend them. They did an amazing job. I can tend to be pretty picky but they went about and beyond expectations

Great place. Was referred to me by a local car dealer. Gave me a good, fair price. They did exactly what they said they would do. On time, courteous and friendly. Lifetime warranty on the work. Even cleaned the interior of my car!!! Very impressed.

My vehicle was being serviced here through the dealership I purchased it from. It needed an inspection, body work, a mirror replaced, the AC needed to fixed, and a tire had to be looked at. They had my vehicle for 4 weeks. I was told at least 2 times my car was going to be delivered to the dealership that day only to be told it will be ready tomorrow. Which I heard at least 6 other times. When I finally received my vehicle the only thing that had been done was the body work. I feel like I got the run around from the moment they received my car. Very unprofessional!

Pro Tek was recommended to me and I'm glad I listened. A dent on my Mercedes Sprinter was an eye-sore and as it's a nice vehicle, I wanted it done right. Great work, fair price and a nice family business. Thank you Pro Tek!

Gave them my car to replace a front bumper cover I was told one week took them 3 weeks for me to finally get my car back. Once I got my car back the battery was drained and the car had problems starting I called them and the blamed it on the insurance. Forcing me to pay for another battery. All because the leave doors open which makes the light inside the car stay open all night. I also took the car there on over half a tank got the car back on E.

Well i'd have to say I was pretty shocked when I saw all the 5 stars with the way you treated one of your customers, especially a Military customer. Customer brought a honda accord into Pro Tek to fix a bent rear frame issue. Did a great job! So customer called them again when the cable in the drivers door broke so the door wouldnt open. I'll try not to drag this out but customer asked if they could fix the problem...Yes! So the car was brought to them. #1 The tech working on the car apparently couldnt get a cover off behind the door panel so for whatever reason he beat it with a screwdriver/broke it of course, then asked customer to pay 150.00 for the new part "they" broke. #2 Tech asked if the car could be brought in to be worked on after hours...boss caught wind and accused customer of trying to "go thru the back door" so to speak-I assume for a discounted price & tech using company tools/parts?? #3 They removed window molding and the Lock rod while they were banging on the part they broke and didnt give them back. #4 While attempting to "fix" the car, they gouged the brand new tinted windows on the drivers door.When confronted with all of this and asked to pay for the gouged window tint-they were rude, accusatory and told customer to never come back! Oh but dont you worry Pro Tek, we will never be back and we will spread the word of our experience with you. You made a bigger mess out of the original problem which cost more money for someone else to fix- plus 40.00 window tint. Worse part is? We had family from Ohio in town that weekend. Aunt of the customer has been an associate of the Honda plant for 30 plus years and use to put the doors together from start to finish...but she was visiting and didnt want to take away from her vacation. You have alot of 5 star reviews, they are either friends and family or you normally take care of your customers...you sure dropped the ball on this one.

Pro Tek has a small town feel to it, which is great in a lot of ways. The people are friendly, the work was solid, and the price was affordable. I am already scheduling a time to take my vehicle back for some repeat business.

Took a month to get my car back in the first place, got it back and within minutes of getting home I notice a NICE sized corner dent in my rear bumper...except my accident was front end.. took it back, they were fixing that but that took another 6 days to get back. Now 4 years later I'm finding out that they skimped on my repair from an accident. $300 to replace but causing major headache now that I'm trying to sell the vehicle. What a joke

I can't thank pro tek enough. I truly cant. This company saved my vehicle. I didnt feel like a number, the owner was involved every step of the way and the staff were absolutely amazing. They even took care of the rental return for me...If it werent for this company i would have lost my vehicle. God bless and Merry Christmas!!!

I've two vehicles painted by Pro Tek and getting ready to do a 3rd. Reasonable prices, timely turn-around and excellent results!
