I can t say good enough things about Ricky and the entire crew over at Platinum Automotive center. Dropped off my W210 E55 AMG for a complete suspension rebuild/tune up and they knocked it out the park!! Throughout the process they were sharing updates and pictures showcasing all the various stages of the repairs. They have been great to work with and continue to be a one stop shop for all your vehicle needs!!

I worked here and got taken for my hard earned money. They made accusations that I stole something out of a customers vehicle when it was clearly on camera that I had nothing in my hands that was the first time the second time is when a car ran me off the road on the interstate and I hit something outside of the highway that bent the right rear rim of the truck, come out not my fault still made me pay for in the third and final time was I got a tow call to do a short distance tow on a Cadillac hearse when I arrived on scene with that call I was typically stated to the customer that the vehicle needed to be backed out of the driveway in order for me to hook it up properly he had a right rear flat tire that was pretty much shredded and he said he didn t wanna mess his room up against my better judgment to try to go ahead and hook it up the way the vehicle sat. I couldn t quite get my vehicle all the way the customer vehicle backed up, just a tad, so I got in the car put my foot on the vehicle. Customer said to meet the vehicle to be put in neutral be able to start because it had a safety switch had gone bad so my foot is still on the break. I switched the ignition back on again and I went to go proceeded to pull the vehicle from park to neutral soon as the vehicle come out of park it rolled straight back and hit my truck in crack, the tail light and the tail light surround. I got out accessed the damage. it wasn t too too bad until like surround was got to straighten out a little bit and replaced. That s the only thing that was damaged on the vehicle that platinum was gonna pay for the vehicle to get fixed and I had been working on cars pretty much my whole life Stepped up and told the customer that I knew her a couple these vehicles were sitting at a junkyard where one of my buddies work I thought me and the customer had everything worked out, but in between the time of me dropping him off and whatever happened I guess my office was called or either the office called him and let them look at the damage. This was last Friday was fast-forward to this Friday. Platinum kept my whole paycheck said it was for damage done to the rim on the truck and the damage done to the hearse. The state law of South Carolina states that when an employer removes an employee from payroll, they have to be paid in full within 48 hours or the next following payday, like I said, the owner of platinum kept my whole paycheck and then had the audacity not to even send me a paystub stating where my money went so I contacted the lawyer and he advised me to demand I get my money within 24 hours Ricky the owner of platinum automotive sent me a text message telling me to lose his number that is by far not professional at all so if I don t receive my money from him, then I am going to proceed and going to the labor board and proceeded in the next step. My lawyer advises me to do until I get my money. I have five kids that will allow me to support them almost every one of my paychecks I made while working there there was money taken out for some form of reason. I would only recommend someone to work at this place if they love being stolen from pretty much for platinum automotive was being able to work alongside Mandi greatest, she fought to hell for us drivers to get us as much money as we possibly could, but in a situation with my check, her hands were tied

I have NEVER written a bad review on anyone, but now that I'm having to spend more money 2 years after they fixed my van (2018 pacifica) after a tbone accident, I feel I need to share my experience. Picked up my van to find pin stripe stickers on the painted side instead of hand painted. Stated they didn't have anyone to do them. So my husband had to track someone down to get them painted. The gentleman that painted my pinstripes said he does work for them all the time, so i dont know why he wasnt called. My van had an exhaust leak that was not present before or directly after the wreck. Numerous other issues such as cracked inside panels, scratched glass, missing screws and more. (Not present before accident) Yes they did fix these things when brought to their attention, but not sure how the van was released back to us in that condition. Still have all the pictures. My passenger door still doesn't work right. We have had to fix the wiring harness because the door sliced through some of the wires since it wasn't aligned correctly. (Still doesn't sit flush with the side of the van) Not worth the hassle of asking them to fix it. They have beautiful exotic cars there, that I saw them do great work on. So A+ for that. The paint job was on point, so 4 stars to whomever did that. Maybe just stick to the exotic cars. Just don't feel as if my $40k minivan was given the same attention as the more expensive vehicles.

Ricky and team are incredible. They do beautiful work and are amazing to deal with. We feel so lucky to have a team we can rely on with every car in the garage. We ve had them upgrade, tune, tint, wrap, paint, update wheels and tires and so much more on more than 8 cars and have never been disappointed. Thank you Platinum. We will never use anyone else.

I called the Platinum towing for my Benz, my car was dead, the driver came he was the only one that could start my car his name is Lil D, he did a wonderful job starting my car to put it in neutral so it could be rolled properly on the truck, I appreciate Lil D so much, he called me after he dropped off my car. Lil D was very kind and respectful of me and my car. Good job Lil D and Platinum Towing.

We had our front door painted the same color as our 2021 Chevy Tahoe-cherry red tint coat. Stacey and her team did a fantastic job! Everyone who has seen it has commented about the fine paint job and how beautiful it looks!

These guys are modern day car thieves. They will do everything they can to make sure they keep your car if they so choose to... I have been involved with 3 transactions over the past few years with these guys only one was my personal car the other two where situations when I was only the supporting role taking people to pick up their cars only to get to them and end up not getting their car back until the "ransom" on their cars where paid which are always with complete disregards to the law and regulations of which towing company's are to follow but they don't. Just like all crooked business practices they only move to increase the profit not to provide a service that is fair to the local community. Some how the local cooperate policy enforcement/public servants will even overlook the foul nature of which they operate their business. AndMost unfortunate for the local community there is a good chance that if your ever in a car accident theses modern day car thieves will vebthe one called by our local public servants or highway patrol to then get picked up and them never informing the registered owners of them having possession of said vehicle then if and when that owner finds said car they will then rob the heck out of you to get your own car out..Without prejudiceWithout recourse

This is the only shop I trust for cosmetic repairs & upgrades in the Charleston market. Ricky & Joe were on top of ensuring everything came out perfectly (rims & repainting two rear panels). They were able to salvage my curbed rims & beautifully powdercoat them. I couldn't even tell they had curb marks previously once they were finished. I highly recommend these guys for any high-end auto work, from paint to turbos.

After being turned away by multiple auto shops, my boyfriend and I hit the jackpot at Platinum!! Even with the difficulties from modifications we have on the car they were able to help us out tremendously. Big thank you to the AMAZING management, Dan and Stacey! They both were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all questions we had! Definitely our go to place now!
