This is by far the worst experience in car service I ve ever had in any kind of car dealershipIf you make an appointment at 10 o clock or anytime expect to wait in the car a good 20 to 30 minutes before anybody can come and help youExpect to wait and Waste all day all morning just to get any kind of serviceThe service manager is just terrible and no helper at allI had an issue with my brand new 2022 Toyota tundra and they just lied to me and told me what it was out of warrantyI would not recommend Toyota Hendrix at all. Please sell yourself a headache never come to the dealership.

The absolute worst! If I could give them a zero I would. Second time I have used them, I thought the first time was bad. Oh no, that was impeccable service compared to today. We have been here three hours plus for an oil change and tire rotation. No communication. My service contact person disappeared. The individual that I dealt with could not find my service contract, then when I put my foot down, he miraculously found in the last place he looked. He said they overbooked appointments, every excuse in the book. I never lost my cool, by a miracle, right up until the time he said he understood that I would be upset and that it s not my fault. How in any reality, would it be my fault. Next time it would be my fault, if I chose to use them again. Stay away. In out 2 PM, out at 5:22.Service: Oil change

I had been looking for a truck for several months and finally decided to focus on a Toyota Tundra. I located a 2020 Tundra Crew Cab that caught my attention at Rick Hendricks' North Charleston location. I traveled to the dealership from McClellanville, SC and approached the front counter and advised that I was interested in the vehicle. The salesperson who came to greet me was James "Billy" Medders. I was quite fortunate to have met Billy on my first visit. Throughout the initial meeting and subsequent review of the vehicle, I could not have asked for a more attentive or knowledgeable individual regarding the dealership and this specific vehicle. Billy has a reputation at Rick Hendrick for never leaving a customer hanging and on that day that reputation was quite obvious. Based on my interaction with Billy and his courtesy, straightforwardness and ease of communication, I purchased the vehicle that day.While at Rick Hendricks' North Charleston location, it was obvious that the criteria for working there was a professional attitude, exemplified by each person I came in contact with, especially Billy Medders. We are enjoying the truck and look forward to the same professionalism in the service department over the course of time.

Just moved to Charleston and Billy Medders was a huge help in helping me get a new car when I was settling in! Super appreciate the communication and him keeping me posted when the car I want was available. Would definitely recommend going to him for car help!

My biggest complaint is the amount of time you sit in the service lane when multiple workers see you and do not help. Most appointments I sit over 15 minutes in my car before being talked to (though I have sat 20+ minutes before) and have been told to step back into my vehicle when I stood outside so that I would be seen. I think this system is incredibly inefficient and frustrating when the past three times I have been told to take a seat inside before being helped anyway. It s a source of dread and I will be finding another dealership that has streamlined this process and cares about customer time.

Had my car in a few weeks ago to fix the broken ac. The service manager did not adequately explain the work at that time. Not once was I told that there would be further work required that would be even more costly - as much as $2000 - basically the value of the car. So now I am back with no ac. When I complained to the Head of Srvice he was unapologetic if not rude. Not once did he apologize for the misunderstanding or misrepresentation. Customer service was seriously lacking. There are closer dealerships to me. They will get my business moving forward.

Words cannot express the frustration that I feel after my experience with Hendrick Toyota in the last several weeks (especially, after being a loyal customer for three leases in a row).On November 1, we brought our 2021 Camry in for the 10K service. We brought up to our service advisor, Gerrit Achilles, the moldy odor that had been present in our car for about a week at that time. Gerrit said there was nothing really they could do at that time and we needed to keep driving with different A/C modes and see what happens. However, he did suggest the problem might be in the clogged A/C drain tube. We asked him if that was something technicians could check during the multi-point inspection. He agreed.Upon completion of the 10K service, Gerrit called to inform us the car was ready to be picked up. My husband, specifically asked about the A/C drain. Gerrit said the technicians didn't really find anything wrong with it.Several visits later, on November 7, service advisor and management walked me through the process of how the car would be fixed (including mold test, treatment, carpet and padding replacement), and that is exactly why I agreed to get it fixed. The ultimate goal was to get rid of the mold that is causing the odor.On November 14, the service department discovered a clogged A/C drain. They cleaned out the drain and performed an A/C refresh. I was told NO MOLD was found after a visual inspection. I also asked for pictures and none were provided to me. So, nothing else that had been previously discussed, was done to the vehicle.November 18, $200 later. My car was supposedly "fixed" and not only the odor is still there but also loads of mold (please see attached photos)! This leads me to believe, my car was never inspected the way I was told it would be, and I continue to breathe in all the mold!I have lost all the trust in this dealership and can no longer recommend them.Very disappointing!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Not necessarily cheap or fast but they do good work on routine maintenance and recalls. The waiting area has a snack bar, tables and decent internet so you can work while you wait.

I was charged for a diagnostic consult and was not given a price prior to the appointment or the service being performed. The "diagnostic" service was the mechanic writing on my inspection paper that I had hit something with my front bumper and needed to replace my bumper and Pre Collison System. I knew that going into the appointment, as the dash had already stated it and I told the dealership that I hit a bird a few weeks ago. I was charged $160 for absolutely nothing. I have called 4x to discuss the charge with the service manager and have yet to receive a call back.

After many years of a courtesy car they don't offer anymore. No heads up..people go to work don't have 3 hrs. to sit there. Poor communication.

Service department can not get anything right the first time. Took me a few visits and issue is still NOT resolved. Went to day for a check up on my water reservoir. Waited 10 minutes past appointment time . That wasn't even the issue , this lady who checked me in, didn't catch her name but she was skinny and blonde . She was very rude . Treated me like I was dumb, made it seem like I didn't know what I was talking about . Other than that everyone else was helpful .

All around horrible. Horrible customer service and horrible service dept. Your better off going to midas then coming to this toyota service department. You been warned. Was told nothing they would do about a problem with a brand new truck. Come home and found a toyota service bulletin for a failing clutch pedal assembly and they just simply didn't wanna do the work. Payed close to 40k for my truck there. Worst service I've ever had anywhere for anything.Services: Tire rotations, Brake service & repair, Oil change

I called to see if they had a tire in stock for my car. I was told no one was available to answer my question. However, they would have someone to return my call. Never received a call back to this day, so I went to Firestone Tire.

Worst service dealing I've ever had. Hung up on and after everything still not right. Worst customer service in there service dept I've ever dealt with. My truck will not go back and now I have to take somewhere else and make sureeverything is okay while under warranty. The worst. Don't go you'll regret it.
