I can be a fairly demanding customer concerning my 4 Runner. I just invested a fair amount in new tires and wheels. I had my tires balanced in 2 different shops 3 times, none of which fixed vibration issues. After a good amount of research, I found that Hendrick Toyota had the Hunter Balancing Machine, the premier tool for tires. I spoke to Christian, explained the situation, sent him a list of guide lines that I wanted his team to follow, and let them do the work. It fixed the issue. Christian was gracious to allow me to share my research with him, and amenable to listening to my side of the issue. Hendricks Toyota is the only shop that I will allow to work on my wheels. All around great experience. Christian was terrific .

My experience at Rick Hendrick Toyota was excellent. I was seen as soon as I got there. Only took a little over hour to complete the inspection, tire rotation and oil change. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and knowledgeable. Showroom was quiet and very clean.. The restrooms were very clean and in good working order too.

By far the worst car buying experience I ve ever had. I m giving them one star because it won t allow me to make a review without it. Truthfully a zero star experience. I purchased a 2020 Highlander from them in December. The sales were great, Carter handled my transaction & has truly been amazing throughout the entire experience, even in departments he isn t a part of. However when purchasing the car I had a set budget. When coming in I informed them I would be doing a trade in & had an online price from their website that I was guaranteed they d honor. Once getting to the financial department, they claimed they could not honor the trade in value even though that was the first question I asked when coming in & was assured they would after sales spoke with management. I ended up taking less for my trade in & bought the Highlander anyways. The Highlander I was looking at online, I set an appointment to go look at. Spoke to someone & they told me it was available. When I arrived, they were unable to locate the key. I had to come back to pick up the car. When I came back to pick up the Highlander it had a TPMs light on, I was told it was just tire pressure and maybe a sensor. I was told to bring it back and it would be fixed on a I owe you . I have been into the dealership at least 6 times over this issue. They claim the sensors were replaced. I drove it off the lot & half way home (I live 2 hours from the dealership) and the light came back on. This was a repeat for over a month. I was told to document the light coming on & what the message said. I did. I sent them to the service advisor, continued taking the car back because they continued to schedule appointments to have it fixed. Every time I took it they told me they couldn t find a problem. I was told I need to bring the car in with the light on. So finally when I scheduled the service appointment I got half way there and the TPMS light came on. When I arrived I informed the service manager (Cody) that the light was on and if he turned the car off it would go off and I have no idea when it would come back on. I also informed him that I was told to bring it in with the light on and they would pull it directly into the shop to find the problem considering I ve been dealing with this for months at this point. They gave me a loaner car and parked my Highlander and turned it off. A few days later I received a call from the service advisor stating the light will not come on and they wanted one of their technicians to drive it back and forth from their house to work all week to see if they can duplicate the light. The problem I had with this was, my warranty they gave me was based on mileage. The farthest I have driven the car was to the dealership and I was already wasting my warranty for something they didn t seem to care to fix. I ve asked multiple times to speak to the GM which is impossible to achieve apparently because I have still not heard from him. The Assistant manager finally worked out a way to extend the warranty for my car which I then gave them permission to drive the car. Days later, my service advisor tells me the car has been sitting because they weren t aware they could drive it. The communication within this awful place of business is terrible. They have had my car for 3 weeks now in the shop. No one has been able to give me any updates on the situation. I spoke to Carter in sales and he checked the service report & the keys have not been checked out in 2 days, meaning the car has been sitting without a solution. Yesterday evening I received a voicemail from Cody (manager in the service department) informing me my car was finished and I need to return the loaner car. I ve left multiple voicemails, have still not received a call back in regards to what the problem was or how it was fixed. The service department is the worst. The communication is terrible. They switch around service points of contacts without letting their customers know. They don t update you on your vehicles. In all they truly act like they don t care about the customers at all.

Purchased new tires from Hendrick Toyota and learned the tech rounded off a lug nut and did not remove and replace. A quick change of a flat turned into a 3 hour wait for AAA. Way to kick the can down the round for the next guy, folks. Not my problem. tier service, after years of only have maintenance done at this dealership.

From my first online inquiry 5 weeks ago, to ordering my vehicle & picking it up today, I couldn't be happier. Gabe & Tony made everything so easy! I got everything I've ever wanted in a vehicle & at a wonderful price & interest rate! I highly recommend Hendrick Toyota! I was a life long Nissan owner up to now but I have converted! Very disappointing. Got a letter to contact the dealership to get the second key for the car. Went to the dealership to get it, and was told I had to make an appointment to get a key. I got an appointment for Monday morning, today, at 8:30. At 9:15 the lady comes to me and tells me they don't have the key in stock. At 9:40 I get my car back.It would seem to me that if you schedule an appointment to make a key you would make sure that you have the key on hand before I drive all the way out there and spend nearly 2 hours when your computer should be able to control your inventory. The service advisor that helped me was polite so this is not a reflection on her it's a reflection on the dealerships inability to sequence their inventory with their appointments.If the part was not available they should have called me and canceled it. When they scheduled the appointment they should have ordered the key if they did not have it.

I arrived almost an hour early for my appointment (traffic was unusually good) and it was no problem. Jason was awesome. Took care of everything for me. Service was quick and painless. Jason even got me a really good quote for some new tires that I desperately needed.

I recently leased a 2024 Toyota 4Runner from Hendricks Toyota North Charleston and from the process to the customer service the experience was incredible. Terrell helped us initial find the perfect car to fit our needs. He was incredibly helpful and provided us with tons of useful information. Terrell and Tyler Hewitt were able to finance the car to fit our budget. After reaching our ideal budget, Tyler was ready to take us through all the paperwork. Despite hitting some roadblocks with our title Tyler worked with our circumstances diligently providing answers instead of excuses. I would highly recommend coming here for any of your automotive needs. Every employee we came into contact with was unbelievably helpful and did everything in their power to accommodate our needs. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience!

My intentions while visiting the dealership for the first time was to find a 4Runner in at least a TRD Off Road Premium trim - when we arrived we were greeted pretty promptly (even though we tried to hide a little bit) by Billy. He was genuine, kind, open and most of all, not pushy. He catered to our needs and bent over backwards while we asked if the dealership had any more 4Runners or Tundras arriving before test driving a 4runner. He mentioned they may be getting more of them in on the next trailer and mentioned there was a tundra parked on the other lot that may be available. We went to test drive the 4runner and saw it!! I Immediately called Billy and asked if we could get the keys to Tundra. We test drove a Lunar Rock SR5 and loved the absolute s*** out of it. It was beautiful. However, we felt it was missing quite a few quality of life aspects. Billy sat us down and we combed through the entire inventory - just for us to stumble on the great TRD Pro Tundra parked on the side that had a sticker on it. He mentioned it may be available and that s how everything evolved into me driving away in a new car. Spec d out to perfection and flat out, gorgeous. Billy was so outrageously patient, open, transparent and it was undoubtedly the most pleasant purchase experience I ve EVER had while buying a vehicle. ALSO. Patrick, thank you to you as well. Those two absolutely made the entire process, amazing.

My experience servicing a car and then purchasing a car was exceptional. Andrew, on the service side coordinated services and communicated what was needed. He made servicing of the car easy.On the purchase side, Chris Becker, was a pleasure to work with. He provided excellent service, listened, and was very patient in explaining the nuances of my new car. He showed no impatience even though his work day had ended earlier. I would not hesitate to recommend him to work with for your car needs.

Great atmosphere and customer service. Was seen promptly, Traci reviewed our appointment notes, took us to look at vehicles and test drive a few. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star rating is because it took 2+ hours to see Finance. I absolutely get that Saturdays can be busy, but perhaps hire more team members to assist with accommodating the foot traffic. Jason was very nice once we did get back to him. I would recommend purchasing from them.

I was in the market for a used SUV with low miles. I found a Subaru Forester at Hendricks Toyota with low miles, decently priced, and a unique green color. I reached out and spoke, and began working with Bob.Since there were only a few pictures of the vehicle online, Bob was nice enough to get some before it was detailed and send them my way. He even worked with me on holding it with a deposit as I lived 2 hours away and couldn t make it there for a few days. Fast forward, I finally made it to Charleston to test drive it and I liked it. I had no complaints. Having to switch insurances I had to return the following day, I believe, to finish the purchase.The day I took it home is when the real trouble began. I arrived home and every light in the car turned on and all the safety features turned off. I panicked. I reached out to Bob, after working hours, who apologized and set up an appointment to get the car looked at. I was provided a rental while the vehicle was being worked on. My vehicle went through Toyota and Subaru before being returned. Didn t seem like Subaru did much but I was told everything was okay.So After the vehicle was returned it was a few days before the vehicles safety features kept shutting off. This time the vehicle began shutting off when I d stop. Hendricks requested I take it to Subaru. I did. They reset a few things and sent me on my way.Life goes on and I ended up renting a car for the holidays because I didn t trust driving far knowing the problems I ve had. When I returned home and began driving my vehicle again, the same problems continued. I was asked to take it to Subaru but by now, I didn t want to deal with these problems anymore.Bob reached out to me and said He was truly sorry about all the problems I went through and that they (Toyota) were going to make things right, and make things right they did!!!Toyota bought back my vehicle and got my family and I into a brand new Toyota Corolla. Our family has never owned a new vehicle, so when I brought it home to my husband, he was truly touched, we both were! He sat in the car, admiring it for some time. From homelessness and cars with no heat to a brand new vehicle words can t describe the many emotions our family has felt! Especially my husband.Although my car experience isn t typical it could have had many different outcomes. Aside from getting a free car, this was the best outcome I could have hoped for!Bob was diligent and patient (which is an understatement). He was genuinely concerned about what my family was driving and advocated on my behalf, and I appreciate that! Hendricks would be honored to know how you represented him and his brand! Thank you Bob and the staff at Toyota! Thank you so much!

Had a great experience because of Ralph. Came in for a particular Corolla Hatchback with a cap on what I could spend and Ralph made sure I got as much as I wanted under my price cap, and he didn t pressure me or try to sell me anything I didn t need. It was a stress free experience because of him.

Sales consultant Chris Pugh and Service Manager Keevin Outlaw are the Best!!!Not only did they make my purchase smooth and easy, they never once pressured me. This is the first time buying a car that there was no hassle. Ralph Dawkins is our sales person. Five star ratings does not do him justice. He is absolutely fabulous. He listen to everything we said, including the concerns. He went above and beyond to meet our wants and needs. I will use him again in the future. He is definitely a keeper. I definitely will recommend this place.

Karriem Agner was nothing short of amazing. When I tell you I m an indecisive, over thinker, and heavy on the second guessing all decisions. This man has been nothing short of patient, light hearted and helpful beyond compare. My experience with buying my first car from a dealer was just that an experience! Recently bought a used car from the dealership. Upon receiving the car I found that the car is not cleaned well or provided basic things like a floor mat. They say you are buying as is. As a reputed dealer I expect a nicely cleaned car. But it was not. A paper mat was on the driver seat so I couldn't see whether the floor mat is there or not. Later only I found there is no floor mat and the cleaning was very poor. Emailed the sales rep about this concern but didn't receive any reply. Before the purchase they used to call minimum 3 times daily ( different representatives) and used to send daily emails. But after the purchase when emailed the concerns they didn't response.

Just bought a new Tundra and the entire buying process was excellent! My sales rep Braxton was knowledgeable, explained all the choices, and helped me choose the right vehicle with no pressure tactics. Everyone I worked with from sales thru the closing was professional and focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience. Definitely recommend Hendrick Toyota -- ask for Braxton!!

If I could delete my initial review posted on April 8, 2024, I would. I had an oil change the previous Wednesday afterward my car rode differently. I called and made another appointment but my car stopped before making it to the shop. I had it towed to Hendrick Toyota and the Ladies in the building made sure this Mom and daughter got home and the service center attempted to repair the car. It was the belt and I couldn't point to them for the cause. Sometimes things just happen. Overall, they did a good job assisting in what they can and in some ways they went above and beyond.
