Scottie/ G&S Truck Repair is the best mechanic shop in Charleston, SC. I've been a customer since 1998. He is full of knowledge. If you are in need of a big truck mechanic and in this area, go to Scottie's shop 1st. He stays busy, but worth the wait for major work.

As an owner operator, it's hard to find a shop that has honest workers, not price gouging, or lying about what's actually wrong with your truck.Well, with G & S, you don't have to look anymore. Not only do they have honest workers, but the rates are very affordable!!! I have finally found a shop that I can trust with my truck and don't have to worry about going broke on repairs!!!My truck will not go to another shop. Even if it has to be towed there!!!

I've dealt with Scotty for many years and have also had work completed by his techs. They are VERY knowledgeable and courteous.The work is always done right the first time and on time. They are the ONLY ones I let work on my C-15.I can't emphasize enough how AWESOME this shop is. They are amazing on Cats, and are equally as awesome on Detroit and Cummins. They've done the diagnostics on the truck but couldn't fix it, did not charge us for that, very good communication.
